The number of XRP tweets hit an all-time high yesterday, drowning out the social media chatter of Bitcoin and Ethereum in the process.
There were more than 29,000 tweets about the cryptocurrency XRP yesterday, setting a new all-time high and coming shortly after a 14% surge in the coin’s price.
According to data from Bitinfocharts, there were a total of 29,143 tweets that mentioned XRP. For the first time ever, this outnumbered the number of tweets about Bitcoin, by 5,000. The number was also seven times greater than the number of tweets about Ethereum.
