I used to use Coingecko to convert crypto to fiat money, for example ETH to USD, BTC to IDR or vice versa.  Because I didn't find that on Coinmarketcap, Coingecko has become one of the most trusted sources of market capitalization information after CMC.

I usually use coinmarketcap but sometimes I look for coins of interest to me on coingecko or coinpaprika. But I did not notice that these services had a similar function.I think this is very convenient for me and very useful information. It is very interesting to see what tools attract the attention of traders and investors. It is good that the service is developing.

I use coin market cap the most. However, there are many tokens that can not be found in the coin market cap. But those
Let's search on coingecko. Like coin market cap, coingecko also has a lot of update information. However, the information I received from the coin market cap was correct. But I got a lot of wrong token information from coingecko. The tokens that I could not sell even today. Such as hadepay, highbank and many more tokens that were given fake information. So some team uses coingecko to cheat.

I was really impressed with TrustSwap when it first came out with the 4th position on CoinGecko. Perhaps SWAP will soon become an area of further development in the DeFi ecosystem.

About TrustSwap: "Trustswap is an easy way for you and anyone in the world to make safe cryptocurrency transactions together.
No need for a middleman, just use TrustSwap!"

DOGE lost its position in the top 10, hoping that Elon Musk's recent tweet will help DOGE coin receive more community attention.

What?? There are many new altcoins that people are looking for the information in CoinGecko, right? This may be the sign if many investors are interested to join in buying new altcoins again. It may happen because IEOs are getting popular and be trustable lately. Well, whatever I hope it is a good start of new project in 2020.

I will say first that I love Coingecko very much. It is very easy to see the price of any coin from Coingecko. And any exchange can be easily accessed from here. Coingecko always shows the real value of the market. That’s why I love Coingecko so much.

i must confuess that coingecko has been part of the daily websites i visits everyday to check new trends and projects making the rounds. it has helped me shape up my holding and as well what to expect and what to buy. it is a perfect place for updates on CURRENT projects. with CZ taking over coinmarketcap, coingecko is the remaining good choice.

I've seen this kind of trending topic on CoinGecko for a few times and discovered that their top searched coins are mostly unpopular. They're not really new but unnoticed and just gathered attention lately (mostly because of Coinbase listing news). Anyway, CoinGecko is becoming more popular and trusted in providing cryptocurrency news and analysis.

I don't use either coingecko or cmc. I believe the information given by the general exchanges. However, coingecko contains a lot of misinformation. Again the amount of incorrect information in cmc is a little less. So I don't support coingecko or cmc. You visit the exchanges. Many times the trading volume of the exchanges does not match the volume of coingecko or cmc.

It's not about bidding. You may not pay attention to the volume of trades or capitalization on sites such as coingecko or cmc or other similar sites. They not only give these characteristics. For example, I use these services to find a coin that interests me and look at which exchanges it is traded, what is its official website, find a coin explorer or other information. Of course, the volumes need to be looked at on exchanges. But do you really think that the exchanges show you the true volume of trades?
