Title: Your experience with DeFi
Post by: MrSpasybo on July 18, 2020, 01:54:35 PM
I heard a lot about DeFi, more than about the POS of ETH 2.0 coming. However, I have not had the opportunity to experience DeFi much, I have never even used crypto payment.
Many people understand that DeFi is Lending & Borrowing, and I think this is the main activity that has made DeFi such strong growth in the past 6 months.
Have you ever Lend & Borrow in DeFi? Or how did you experience DeFi? Trading on DEXs? Invest in ICOs/IEOs? Please share your experiences about DeFi.

we can build DeFi on Bitcoin, but it's not easy. Guest post on Bankless, Matthew Black of Atomic Loans gave some of the potential options Bitcoin has. Atomic Loans lends money to Bitcoin collateral in a non-custodial system.

if DeFi uses Bitcoin more widely accepted, users and software engineers may not flock to it. Programming for Bitcoin has been difficult, and when it comes to providing decentralized, non-custodial services, it's even more difficult.

A well-built and intuitive user experience for DeFi on Bitcoin can even improve the landscape. The public already knows what Bitcoin is and it is definitely more liquid than any cryptocurrency. The more stable the platform, the more people are willing to risk it.

No, I still have to experience what DeFi platforms are providing to their many users most especially lending and borrowing. I was attracted to Nexo last year but my plan was not pushed through. I understand that there are now a variety of DeFi options offered by a growing plethora of providers and I am seeing that this can be a good phenomenon really pushing Ethereum to the moon (as well as its gas lol).

I have been listening to DeFI for a while now. I heard that Defi is controlling the market. Now all blockchain platforms are being dropped. Now the defi platforms are being created. Most projects are defi. Because there is a lot of success right now. There is a lot of speculation going on. There are many improvements now. Most projects are 90 percent defi. Defi I don't know exactly. But it was a matter of knowing. Keep telling everyone the details. I want to know about DeFi. What could be the purpose of Defi?

Not yet but soon. Due to pandemic scenario my wallet come to zero and my fiat also comes to zero. I'm really desperate to earn money if there is an opportunity. That's why I do some part time job to earn money to provide my needs. In due time I will buy DeFi tokens.

The hype on Defi is getting so much. Hotdog coin did people a lot of things. Moving from 4000$ to 1$ in 5hrs is so crazy. The hype is making lots of people losing money ams some investing in scam projects.

I am positive about defi projects and culture over longterm but right now what we are seeing is pure speculation, things take time to develop and succeed.

I never lend or borrow in Defi, seems not familiar for me. I am not sure to do it for now since I need time to understand it. For now, I only buy and trade with Defi project tokens. Some of Defi tokens already increased very high. I have made some money from the Defi project tokens. But now, it seems the are decreasing after Bitcoin price dumps.

Decentralized Finance (Defi), is a brand new monetary system which is built on public blockchains. The components of open finance consists of protocols, digital assets, dApps and smart contracts, which are built on Blockchain.
Now, the purpose of Defi is to resolve the lingering issues associated with the centralized system of money manegment through the blockchian

Again, to assit the over 1.7 billion people who lack basic financial service access.
Introducing open banking through decentralization As a matter of facts, the inclusion of decentralized financial technologies would mean that there is no point of failure for identical records that have been kept across multiple computers through peer-to-peer networks. And since it is permissionless, it is accessible and open to everyone.

because I have missed the information about defi, so I can't buy from cheap prices, so my advice for those of you who want to invest in defi from now on I hope to discourage you because this coin is very hype, I recommend investing in bitcoin only.

Yes for trading it becomes a hit grounfld for profits. But it doesnt mean the OP about that. What he is asking is about the use case of defi, like lending and borrowing, also like the yield farming. I dont know about these but I can see the process how and these guys are really profiting big from these farms.

I am a risk taker too but werent able to tried out yet. Maybe If Im able to earned a capital on trading will try that out.

Defi tokens are now on the market. The huge amount of defi coins is being successful. Profitable people are benefiting more by investing in defi. So people are running towards defi. There was a time when ICO had a lot of sales. But now there are no sales in ICO. But people can sell a lot of these when they hear the name defi. So my experience from defi is that these are taking up a lot of space.

I also hear a lot about Defi right now. But I have no experience with defi. Because I never traded tokens from Dex. I've been trading those tokens. They were bought from the exchange or from the ICO. But I have no experience with defi. But now there is a lot of speculation about defi. I can see the defi projects. Has occupied a huge part of the market. Being sold and being exchanged.

I could not gain any experience from defi. But now I see defi project being successful. There are many investors in defi projects. Most investors are angel investors so these are becoming much more successful. The ico price of the DIA token that ended a few days ago was 0.05$. But its price has been many times higher. Now it costs 3$+. So from this experience it can be said that defi token is coming in the market with much higher price.

Peoples says Your DeFi your bank. I think it's a good way of storing your funds. We have seen what a DeFi project like YFI can do. Its prices gone  40$k range. Just think about what early investors are feeling now. It makes them a millionaire in just a few months. My experience is not good because I didn't buy any DeFi project when it was DIP.

The DEFI initiative and idea is only now beginning to take strong footing and recognition even though it has been around for some time now. Not only is the technology highly promising, it is offering more investors the opportunity to invest smartly in the crypto industry. Some projects like Injective Protocol are looking to further decentralised this sector and idea making it more attractive and easily accessible to anyone with the launching of their platform and decentralized exchange.

Everyone is having a good time with defi. Because it is possible to make a profit by investing in defi projects. Many investors are becoming millionaires by investing in defi coins. We are just watching. Because we are the ones who hunter. For them, the projects can not bring any large amount. Because the budget is very low and they are not distributed. So it is impossible to say in the future what we will experience about defi.

Decentralized Finance department in cryptocurrency industry will take lead the old ones coins listed in top 100 in case the DeFi scenario will become better than good. DeFi tokens now are interesting and really need to watch the outcome of the hype.

It is clear that it needs to be appreciated that there has been a renewal which at least gives a passion for now, but for me it is still too early to decide about Defi itself, but it must be appreciated because it is clear that the impact is visible. we will see further developments in the next few months hopefully this will continue and make more exciting for many people.

DeFi is like a fungus that is very easy to spread and spread. But can it last long?

As we know, right now, yes, DeFi is very popular, booming. More and more new DeFi projects have emerged, especially because of the YFI coin, which increased so much that it surpassed BTC.
Of course, now many developers are competing to create DeFi projects to attract investors.
However, will this all work out? Of course, I'm sure not all projects will be good.

And so far, I have only worked on a few DeFi projects, which are already on the market and have trading volume.

I have missed a great opportunity to invest in the DeFi project, if you look at the current token price it seems I don't have enough funds to trade, the percentage of DeFi token price increases fast to the month and early investors have made a big profit by choosing DeFi tokens like YFI

I'm not going to invest in defi right, it's too much hype and real a risk, need to wait for a little to see which projects are real and will bring something good to the crypto ecosystem, until then we are already seeing some exit scam.

all new systems usually always start with a very powerful phenomenon, but like you, I have not been interested in system defi because I am still waiting for the next few months to make sure it will not be like the case with other systems, even though I myself also make sure there will be unruly for purposes that are not good, aka fraud.

I have some LEND tokens, so I used ethlend v0.3.0 Kogia. I borrowed some coins and all was paid back (once with collateral I think). After that they launched Aave, but now I don't use it anymore. My experience with Aave (Ethlend) is really positive. I earn some coins (tokens) there, so I am satisfied.

I think the advantage is playing safe not to invest in scam DeFi project.
The disadvantage is you did not buy DeFi tokens when it was cheaper than the current value. Anyway, better to wait the full grown of DeFi.

DeFi  (decentralised finance). This refers to financial services using smart contracts, which are automated enforceable agreements that don't need intermediaries like a bank or lawyer and use online blockchain technology instead.

Until now I still haven't used and don't have this DeFi. I am still focused on investing in BTC and ethereum only. But I saw a lot of good opportunities in DeFi, so I was interested in trying. And I think this month I will start. There are so many people talking about DeFi, which makes me think there is nothing wrong with trying to join DeFi.

I learned partially about DeFi. But I did not invest any dollars in DeFi. In order to invest, at least I have to monitor all the coins in the market and see which ones have budget and total supply, max supply. All in all, tokens should always be monitored. So I didn't have time to monitor. That’s why I didn’t invest in the way. But I am interested in investing. Because people are benefiting by investing in DeFi tokens. So I want to invest in DeFi.

My experience with DeFi is very limited, but I have concentrated on learning about DeFi, reading about DeFi in various posts. I have not invested in DeFi projects till now but I have participated in various projects as a benefactor and got a good amount of reward from there. There is a desire to invest in new DeFi projects in the future. Thanks
