Because of the pandemic, everyone is almost going digital and we're more prone to cyber-crime, fraud, and possibly scams.
Blockchain technology being seen as a trusted record, a ledger that can never be cheated on, can possibly solve these issues for most of the people. This type of verification also has many other applications, such as making it trivial to verify IDs, university degrees, memberships, and authenticity of artwork or goods. Client apps have already been developed to make these kinds of verification free and easy using web browsers, mobile apps, or desktop apps.

Blockchain technology, being the ledger that anyone can't fake nor tamper, is very valuable during this age where we're at, which is where everything is happening digitally.

Of course blockchain can do that job, as blockchain can store data in a large scale decentralization it's a big advantage to track all criminal transaction and blockchain also fully transparent.

Unfortunately, for now blockchain technology remains to be worthless when it comes to fighting scams and frauds. The blockchain technology resulted into the boom of the cryptocurrency industry and is now being utilized by many big scammers and fraudsters.
In the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, I still have to find a solid platform that uses blockchain technology that can help control the spread of the virus.
