This is good for adoption overall, the gaming industry do see the benefits of using crypto and blockchain as a reward-system.

Same thing that NEM is doing with Symbol (https://symbolplatform.com/tokenomics/), having the goal of empowering users to have confidence that their in-game tokens and other assets retain their value and remain freely tradeable through trusted on-chain payment gateway and escrowed transactions to ensure person-to-person trades have low risk.
