Ethereum Classic developers were still licking fresh wounds late last week when yet another 51% attack was launched against their blockchain early Thursday morning.
And as the bits settle, the proof-of-work blockchain’s future remains in question more than ever.
The first attack occurred on Aug. 1, the network’s second ever. Five days later, a second 51% attack followed the news that the first had indeed seen a successful double-spend of $5.6 million worth of ETC.

Indeed this is the bad news I think the ethereum team is fully focusing on ethereum network because ETH is the popular altcoin than ETC , actually this attack is very bad news of ethereum classic,still ethereum classic needs more secure and improvements otherwise this project will not survive in crypto market.

of course ethereum classic needs more improvements currently ethereum developer are hardworking in Ethereum 2.0 they added many future in Ethereum network although ethereum classic is still attracting big investments so every day it's trade volume is too high actually this is a legit project.

Currently ethereum classic has started to recover from all attacks it has big market capitalization so this coin is in top places in the cryptomarket today this coin is in 47th place in the cryptomarket but in the future ethereum classic will come top 25 places don't panic about ethereum classic if you invested in this coin just hold it.

Ethereum classic is a potential forked coin of the ethereum so it survived from all bad situations so lot of investors using this coin every day thus it's trade volume is more than one billion this is awesome currently it has started to recover the price of ethereum classic is going towards $20.
