1 victim reported losing $50K, while the exchange for many years only cheated $35K ^^
The problem of exchange fraud has become too common, especially after the wave of coin exchanges in 2018-2019 with the success of Binance. Crypto is still outside of the legal framework, so let's only trade in major exchanges in the world.

This is why we should always be careful with supposed mobile wallets we are downloading because we can never know if scammers can still be able to penetrate Google Play for Android users. And then they can also entice people to just download their less popular apps promising anything to prospect users. On this problem, there should be something like a registry where only legit apps are listed.
