Title: Too many listed coins on exchange without volume, any reasons?
Post by: Bobcrypto on August 24, 2020, 10:20:05 PM
It obvious that higher trading volum = more liquidity. liquidity refers to the ability of a coin to be converted into cash or other coins easily. Liquidity is important for any tradeable assets including cryptocurrencies.
Unfortunately, I have obversed that most coins listed this days on certain exchanges are without volume, that is, illiquid.
It is very clear that this situation was not common found before 2019.
What could be the reasons for this abnormalities. Your thoughts.

If a coin is not having the needed volume on exchange it means the coin is not strong in terms of use case. A coin that has solid use vase will sure attract adopting from the community which will lead to good volume on exchanges. No one is ready to invest in useless coins.

It shows us that less interest from investors to buy those coins. I think we don't need to be surprised because it was already happening for years. Many coins listed on exchanges are getting worse because they have less interest from investors to buy. They must have something to trigger investors to buy.

many coins listed without any trading volume, it means that the coin is going to be a dead coin, a shitcoin. Well, many factors about this from the developer teams that do not pay attention more to their project, and also the low of the investor's interest to the coins. SO in this case, they have no volume.

One of the resons : the coins have low-quality and many people aren't interested to buy the coins. Many coins have been created with bad concepts and not really to have potential future. They seems to be created to get people money only. Yep, some scammers did that way to steal people money. Then, the coins with the low valumes will be delisted at the end.

In my opinion, if a coin does not have a volume or a small volume in a market it indicates that the coin is not in demand because the transaction or trading process must be very slow and it must disturb investors, especially those with short-term investments.

Because we have too many coins, people have hundred of coins to chose to invest and look into it, every day there are also new projects so I think this is the reason a lot of coins don't have volume, the market is really big and please chose the best options to look into it.

Not just that. Most projects are now building one to earn money from investors pocket. Take for example the defi projects that have been introduced. Most of them are not trusted and will just rugged the money. I do hope some listed coin/token on the market could be updated so we can filtered all shitcoins being traded.

The lack of information from the marketing and developer teams will affect the trading volume of coins that have been registered on the market, this is actually already known by the developers how they can attract investors to see the true purpose of the coins they have made. If the developer is only aiming for profit from the fake coins or the scam project they have built, then of course there will be no interest from traders and investors, they will choose better coins with high trading volume to avoid many losses.

It's elementary. It's just that this project is not in demand and, accordingly, investors do not buy their coins for some reason. This is the only point.

In other words, these newly listed coin on the crypto market were being dump intentionally by project team as being selfish or probably be a scam project. It makes me wonder why most of these coins will suddenly crash in prices 100% within seconds. We just have to be careful this days

I just checked the HOMT token listed on the Probit exchange. Curiously, the current price is only 10% of the price in Token-Sale, while the volume is only $20 per day.
I don't quite understand the reason, because the HOMT project still exists.
I think the cause is that the community loses trust in the token, no one wants to buy more, and no one has been able to use the token on the platform yet. The previous big volume can come from bounty campaigns for trading on exchanges, which is a way of projects to promote their tokens.

first they are too many coin on exchange due to may project are evolving, the basic reason of less volume is that the project is not strong enough to be listed, and the product of the project are less demanded for.

You said was true and correct Sir, Most of the new coin arise in cryptocurrency always said that their token was potential but once it's been listed in the exchange site platform, the volume for the beginning is high but after a few couples of days it will totally down until the coins will become useless at all in the end.

Many coins died because there were no buying and selling transactions. Project developers only think of being able to list on well-known exchanges without making any plans to keep their project in existence. No wonder projects that started well after entering the market have no volume of transactions.

Of course, there can be a lot of reasons, but the biggest problem now is that too many cryptocurrency exchanges have fake trading volumes, and therefore many cryptocurrencies are simply traded by bots without the intervention of real people.

Higher trade requires such coin or token. Similarly, better exchanges are needed for higher trade. I think traders must be trending to trade well. If the trending volume is not right, there are many problems in trading. If the volume is not right, traders are harmed. As a result trade is not successful. In order to trade successfully, volume is definitely required.

There are many reasons why coins doesn't meet liquidity. The top tier market will have high liquidity due to the large number of users, while the regular market will only focus on certain coins. Besides that, the interests of people also affect that.

To be honest, a bulk of cryptocurrency projects are just hot air, and when they list, they are usually found out, and quickly dumped or lose liquidity

IMO, I think this is clear evidence that the cryptocurrency market is already saturated, Imagine more and more crypto projects that has been launch on monthly basis so what can we expect the crypto investors speculators are just limited in numbers so this is like a chilling effect to market more coins/tokens but less in volume.

Of course it is done purposely to tell the people; hey guys! Our token listed in exchange, we are real and we can give you more profit if you trust us and invest. In short, it is strategy to catch investors 'coz being listed seems like legit and you feel comfortable. Be careful not to give in under the tricks of scammers.

Number one reason is that most of these tokens are shitcoins and there is no incentives to old them, Second, is that few of them have good technology but lack community, if developed a good technology and no users then it is good for nothing

There are many reasons for no liquidity, some of them could be:
Low quality project.
No or small community/supporters.
Low interest.
No or low project development and use cases.
Listed at low volume or newer exchange.
Project has no marketing or hype strategy that really works in crypto market.
Team does not have support of traders, big investors or market makers.

Anyone buying any coin does so for a reason. If for any reason they are discouraged then definitely such coin won't have volume because people won't put their money

The reason is clear. they are interested in the bull market and believed this is an opportunity to partake in the market by listing their token. they believe that token listed during the bull market will eventually attract interest from investors. some indulged into fake volume trading. i remembered the day over 10 tokens got listed on coinmarketcap.

It is also possible that holders of bitcoins and ethereum, knowing that soon these coins should grow well in value, do not want to exchange them for other altcoins. They do not believe that these coins and tokens will rise in value much faster than Bitcoin and ethereum.
In addition, due to the coronavirus pandemic, people do not have free funds to invest in other types of cryptocurrencies.

There are many currencies in the market that have very low volumes. If you want to see low volume currencies, you should visit probit exchange. Then you will have experience. Currencies are sold at many times higher than the ICO price. But the next time they are down, what is the reason? I saw the coins of probit. Many prices go down. The volume of the coins is not right. I don't know that. I have seen the homt project now. I took part in the project thinking it was big. But its volume was not right. So you visit.

Some low-quality project that runs their IEO in several exchanges and after that themself or whale investors sell their holding. Because that project has no real use case nor their project is developing in good order. So there are no interest in those project and no volume at trading pair at all.

A lot of factors can be responsible for this. But it all bothers on the developer and the utility of the token. Some developers developed projects to make make money and abandon the project. If a project community is kept active it will reflect on the project volume.

Coins without trading volume is not reliable for investment. They are listed without percentage of traders and investors trust. Maybe the team messed something important ingredient to make the investors purchase in the project.

Some projects make good updates, so their assets become more popular on the market and subsequently increase the volume of trading.Certain news affects the market, so different assets lose their demand.

the reason is that there are not many traders who are interested in the coins and their impact on value and volume , then also the latest news about updates on the project and the development ,of the project also has an effect.

Actually which coins have no interest to invest and trading, those have no volumes. So no volumes coins are called shit coins. Gradually day by day, shitcoin value turning to zero values.

There are many reasons the coins do not have volume on the exchange, the most likely one is that there is usually a lack of investor interest in buying these coins. due to lack of confidence in what is offered and the benefits of the token,
