Recently, Over 1 billions dollars have been staked in the Defi platform making the highest amount of funds reserved in the crypto platform. it supercceded the lending platforms by far. do you think that staking platform is better and a wise pattern of investment compare to lending.

I am using both. Staking and also lending. If you have enough money (tokens / coins) try both and you will find which one suits you bets. But be carefull especially with lending. You can loose your assets. I didn't have such problems, but I know few people who had.

Indeed, OP should not limit his choices. Diversification is always a good thing in investment. Just make sure to be able to handle the diversification and you will see that it is a great thing rather than focusing on one venture.
If I have fund, I will do both investment since they yield different potential profits. Plus if one goes down, I am not at risk of losing all my investment money.

I do not like both of them personally. I am more of a fan of hodling and look for multiple time gains during parabolic bull runs yes that takes time but the return is huge.

It seems that DeFi projects are really accepted so far. Many new DeFi projects are successful, moreover, it is done by YFI that really reaches very high increasing-price only in one month and more. Here, can we say that DeFi projects are the most successful projects of crypto so far? Will it survive forever?
Let's see the next year, whether it will run well again or not, or will there be other project types again or not. However now, DeFi system is interesting and convincing enough
In this case, I personally will prefer to investment than lending. Of course, it will be different for many more people. Actually both investment or lending will be worthy and promising. But, I am still little bit confused about the mechanism.

I am still impressed with the pain caused by Bitconnect, RegalCoin, GoldReward, UcoinCash, DevoCoin, PinCoin, Ifan... so I will not choose to lend even though it is currently a vital ingredient for DeFi. Staking with a prestigious project like Ethereum or Cardano will be a more suitable choice for me, although the profit is not much.
-
Well if I only choose one then staking is my choice because you really gain profit with it but make sure the coin you choose has active project you know. Lending is very risky I think most of these lending platforms turn to scam, I never heard one lending platform that will survive for long.
-
In my opinion lending will be the best investment choice. First we can help others, next you can consider the money you are saving. This makes you less expensive to spend money
-
The coin to not is the dead coin. That's why I advise you to never stop. you can invest in something. Lending is also a form of investment, but its benefits and interest rates will be smaller than any other investment, but if there is no other option, give it rather than stop.
-
Why do we stop when we can invest money in something else. If you can't afford it, lend money to others so they can accomplish their goals. I think you can get the profits from that loan
-
Each of the options has its merits and demerits. Staking involves steady passive income while lending is just plain lending, to get a particular predetermined profit margin. Both are good
-
but somehow has inherent risk, staking is hold one currency for sometime in other to earn passive while lending is outright giving of one token with the hope earning interest, staking makes one to be in possession of his currency while lending does not..
-
for me personally, Lending and staking are almost the same because they give the same benefit with the same percentage, both no difference.
-
I choose both because they are profitable. If you are not good at trading, then leasing and stalking can be passive income.
