Title: IS IT ADVISABLE TO CONTINUE WITH ETHEREUM BOUNTIES
Post by: tonymillions84 on September 01, 2020, 06:24:54 PM
With the high gas price, bounty managers are now reluctant in sending rewards to bounty campaigns sighing ethereum high fees as a problem. Do you think it is still advisable to continue working for crypto projects on ethereum platform. IT IS certain that payments will be delayed at the End.

Why not, if the payment surpass the transaction fee.  Why does the bounty manager shoulder the gas of the participants reward?  I believe, the gas for reward is charged to the project owner.  It is calculated and added to the fee that the project owner have to pay.

Yes, I noticed it too. But this does not depend on bounty managers either. Because they don't seem to get paid for such high gas. Therefore, they delay.

The OMG Network supports fast, cheap and safe value transfer of ETH and any ERC-20 token. Integrating with the OMG Network allows for transaction fees as low as a few cents and validation time of a few seconds while maintaining Ethereum-level security. I think high gas price depends on the project owner.

Mate, I believe that this monstrous transaction fees in Ethereum Network have a negative effect, later on, My question is what was the cause of this sudden rising of TX fees is it due to increasing Ethereum users that creating many transactions or greed? My answer about this question IS IT ADVISABLE TO CONTINUE WITH ETHEREUM BOUNTIES if this TX fees robbery will continue it's better to consider some other smart-contract platforms like Tron (TRX) Credits (CS) etc. and leave Ethereum.

Yeah the situation is very tricky due to high fee but the fact is that almost 90% or more projects are eth based tokens so we cannot skip these bounties rather these bounties can pay us in equivalent amount of btc, tron, ripple or stellar as an alternative.

If a large gas fee on the ethereum network is a problem for the ICO team when paying new tokens to participants in bounty campaigns, then I do not even mind that such a fee is calculated using these tokens, but at the ICO prices. All the same, as a rule, this price is too high.
However, I would not want this to become a common practice in the future when sending tokens to bounty hunters. At the same time, if Ethereum 2.0 improvements soon correct the situation, then this should not be of particular importance.

In my opinion, this is the highest price of gas compared to the previous year, as bounty hunters we are led to be patient.  I'm sure the price of gas will drop again, although I don't know when that time comes.

The best bounties are usually ethereum-based so we have a bit of a burden. When the DeFi craze is over, the gas will go down and we will again be able to spend the rewards as we want.

The high gas fee in the Ethereum network can be putting some dim not just for bounty hunters but also for different new projects as they can have a hard time competing in the shrinking market for token buyers who am sure are complaining of the high transaction fees. Maybe the best thing to do for the project is to always accept other cons like Tron or XRP in addition to Ethereum.
