Not only YFI but also hundreds of projects are based on DeFi platforms. DeFi platforms are completely Ethereum based platforms. Some DeFi projects prics more than Ethereum price. I am sure some DeFi project will be compitator of Ethereum such as YFI.

What does the future hold for DeFi projects? I am beginning to think that very few of all DeFi projects would scale through with time. I feel most of the YF projects look more like scam, the token get pumped so so high only to dump suddenly thereby putting investors/holders at bigger loss.
