Title: Kucoin Exchange Hacked

Well, again, but this time the hacked assets are worthing around 150 millions USd, huge even bigger than the binance hacker.
Btc, Eth and a lot of tokens.
We may see a little drop in the cryptos price, stay allert.

total 1k btc 10 million dollars hacked.



I opened a thread about the kucoin hack. According to some data I obtained on twitter, 1k bitcoin and 150 million dollars ethereum and erc20 tokens were hacked.

I hope everyone gets their money, I wish everyone good luck.

Thats bad news I have some funds on Kucoin 3 ERC20 Tokens and $700 worth of XRP Luckily its intact but the worst is I cant withdraw my funds today. Its a Panic mode again I hope Binance is already Aware in the situation now.

Well that's a bad news for kucoin exchange.. I thought their security was solid because many exchanges was hacked before and kucoin would surely maximize their security. Well hackers are really genius, how  can they hack easily?..

As far as I know when I visited their telehram. The kucoin announced an insurance funds where all affected of this incident will be refunded. So I guess at least investors and traders are still safe. But due to this incident Im sure kucoin reputation will go down a bit and probably some will withdraw their funds due to fear.

Seriously? I just heard about this news. So bad. many more exchanges are hacked. Although this is also a big exchange, the hacker is a hacker that will do anything to make them satisfied. Hopefully, Kucoin can immediately cover this problem and make everything normal again. I am really so worried if thinking about hackers. Everything online will not be safe. but we must be careful only and hope not to be hacked victims

This is true, they will backup any hacked funds, and the market haven't made any move, looks like cryptos will not be affected by this hack, previous hacks we saw the market going red right away, this time is different, let's stay calm and wait to Kucoin get back to normal.

I've heard about it and it's really sad news for a lot of users who invest in kucoin.so very sad that kucoin hacking present time.I could not believe it.we know everybody cucoin very strong exchange but hackers easily hacking kucoin.I mind
Cryptocurrency will not be safe.so everyone must be carefully stay.

Luckily I didn't send tokens in Kucoin. God is still protecting me this time. Quite surprised to read today's news in the forum, lots of talk about hacked kucoin exchange.

 KuCoin speaks of a security problem - the term hack has not yet been used. Investors can stay relaxed for the time being, because according to KuCoin the exchange is insured for such a case.

Kucoin a well reputated centralised exchange which already seized by hackers. A few months ago Binance top ranked exchange also hacked by hackers. So hacking is a common issues in cryptocurrency market. Don't to be worried about hacking.

In some statistics I can see 150 million has been hacked. And in some statistics I can see 200 million has been hacked. But I don't know which one is right. Because I don't think the kucoin CEO said anything live. I haven't seen it live. But I think it's a bad thing. Since such an exchanger has been hacked. This kind of thing happens from time to time. However, I have seen the transfer of many valuable tokens. And I found out that kucoin has fixed their position.

Omg!! Another obstacle this 2020 to overcome. The world including crypto people are not yet fully recovered from downtrend of family income, from recent Binance hacked, from Bomb, from typhoon, and of course from covid. Then here comes a massive lost of money from Kucoin due to unforeseen circumstances.
I think there will have a negative impact soon.

We already got another sad news kucoin hacked, but happy news that they hacked main account but not any investors or traders accounts. They will refund the hacked money among the holders and traders.

As we can see, any cryptocurrency exchange can be hacked, and this is of course very bad, so we cannot store our money on any cryptocurrency exchange, but most importantly, it is good that at least all the stolen money will be returned by the exchange itself.

This is the saddest thing.  I do not understand how all these exchanges are hacked.  Because all these exchanges have so much security, how can they be hacked even after that.  Exchange I have a lot of dollars.  Will I get all these coins recovered again?

I think this situation is almost similar to Binance when it was hacked, they have a special fund to return the funds of investors and traders if the hacked wallet is the wallet of every user.
There will always be loopholes for hackers to get into the security systems of crypto exchanges. I always hope this will improve the security system of a hacked exchange.

Yep, don't be afraid if your coins/tokens were stolen as well, Kucoin teams agreed to take responsibility of this hack. They will pay the token/coin holders as the number of stolen assets. We must appreciate what the Kucoin teams are trying to do. The holders are lucky enough that the teams want to take responsibility.
