"Best" will depend on the users themselves. I think you're more of a mobile user rather than a pc/laptop user that's why you chose those two wallets. Someone who prefers maximum security over convenience, he/she will probably say hardware wallets are the best.
I'm a fan of the Equal Web Wallet (https://equal.tech/). It can store tokens from ethereum, binance, and zilliqa blockchains. You don't need to add tokens manually too. Just send them to your eth address and it will automatically reflects there.

I think the best ERC20-based wallet is MEW. So far, I don't use other wallets. Still very loyal to this MEW. And in my opinion this wallet is still the best of the other ERC20 wallets.

There are so many Erc20 wallet out there, some good ones I've used and possibly still use are Monarch wallet,(very beautiful UI and with built-in exchange feature), coinomi wallet(great support) imtoken(user friendly with built-in exchanges), and trust wallet.
But in all this wallets, my best two is trust wallet and imtoken, then followed by monarch and lastly, coinomi.

Yes, they are all good and safe wallets. but I think MyEtherWallet and trust wallets will be good for the token. I use MyEtherWallet to hold the token for me, although not much, but I am pleased

Metamask is the mothers of ERC-20 wallet, Metamask is a good wallet, because you can use it with only install the browser extension. Any eth address with private key can be imported to metamask wallet too.
Just keep aware about the fake extension impersonating metamask.

Well yeah, Trust Wallet is good enough for ERC20 tokens and also other types of tokens or coins. This DAPP is good enough.
But, you can also try using Metamask or MEW. They are also user friendly. Btw, watch out for any fake application of the wallet.

In my opinion, MEW is still better because it is simple and safe to use. So far, I never use other wallets for ERC20 tokens or Ethereum. I think MEW is okay and no problems there. I think as long as no big problems in MEW, why we need to use other wallets. But if you want to use trust or imToken, it is no problem.

But I think all Ethereum wallet is more secure and protective for investors and holders because it has security systems with neumaric keys, private key or phrase words. I always use MyEtherWallet as my bounty campaign and Airdrops campaigns wallets. I frequently use MetaMask and trust Wallet. Sometimes I use my Binance wallet.

Above all wallets alright bro but how can you conclude coinbase a Erc20 Wallet Address. It can't support Erc20 assets but it supports Ethereum only. So above all wallets are Erc20 Wallet excluding coinbase.
So far, in my opinion, Coinbase still cannot accept ERC20 tokens so I think Myethereum and TrustWallet can be the right choices to store all the cryptocurrencies we have.

I think both provides the best wallet service and decent security with addition support of decentralized application which definitely is key especially in DeFi. I have used both and hope couldn't want more of the service and features. Any of the above 2 is okay.
