Title: What is the end of the crypto revolution?
Post by: MrSpasybo on October 15, 2020, 09:06:35 PM
Using the analogy of a Hi/Lo poker game — a variety of poker which crowns the highest and lowest hands as victors — broadcaster Max Keiser explained citizens will ultimately lose when it comes to holding government-issued currencies.

Only governments and banks can win the low hand option, according to Keiser. Small players have another route, however — winning the high hand by owning gold, silver and Bitcoin (BTC). People often look to this trio of assets for inflation protection, and as hedges against other economic conditions.

Article: Governments and banks are the only winners with fiat currency, says Max Keiser (https://cointelegraph.com/news/governments-and-banks-are-the-only-winners-with-fiat-currency-says-max-keiser)

Do you think this is the end of the crypto revolution while stable coins or CBDCs are the only cryptocurrencies accepted by governments and users only enjoy benefits related to transaction speed and costs, the governments still retain economic control and control user transaction info?

Crypto revolution is just getting started brother and next thing is decentralized finance and a decentralized financial system which will be implemented through blockchain tech and cryptocurrencies that will benefit the masses in multiple ways.

At the end of the crypto revolution, we must see that crypto can be accepted and used everywhere and in each country in the world. As it didn't happen like that, we must be far from the end of the crypto revolution. I think we need many years to make sure the end of crypto to achieve. It is not easy, need many efforts.

The box of Pandora had already been opened for cryptocurrency and the blockchain technology. Ten years is too early to judge something. Of course, there are always scams and frauds which can be distracting us from the vision. The thing is that the governments are now recognizing the power of cryptocurrency and that is why they are coming up a version of their own...with CBDCs. I am confident that these assets (both government-backed and people-backed) will be co-existing just like the way we have now with the paper money. Will they be killing each other? I think they can be complimenting. What we have now -- all the smokescreen, scams, frauds and all necessary things -- will eventually settle down in the coming years as more and more people are going to demand something they can rely on.

Crypto evolution just began. If govt won't accept any other coin that stable coin then there is no problem. As long as people buy and sell other cryptocurrencies the demands and price will always be there and we will see a new project. Crypto will evolve more in time and we will see new concepts of digital assets.

In my opinion, this is not the end. There are still plenty of opportunities for other coins to get government approval too. And this in my opinion is very likely to happen in the future.

Like every new technology, cryptocurrencies must overcome numerous obstacles and address many outstanding risks. But the sense of direction is clear. The future of money is already here.

If we look at it from a wider perspective, The cryptocurrencies are decentralized and only governed by people (users), thats why it is quite hard for any government to stop it, because it was decentralized and I believe there's nothing to do with CBDC's. After all, it was just a centralized digital currency sponsored by the Government, and it's not a treat to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Because CBDC's are just a bunch of Stablecoins that will not fluctuate much compared to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in that case cryptocurrency revolution has not yet end. because the Decentralization will continue to flourish.

The cryptocurrency is only a little over ten years old and the possibilities for its implementation are very extensive. Until three months ago, we did not hear anything about DeFi projects, they appeared very unexpectedly and immediately attracted attention and gained popularity. Apparently, there are still a lot of similar directions of development. Therefore, cryptocurrency will develop for a long time.

I think we only just got started. Crypto currency is here to stay. I don't think there is any form of end as crypto tends to bring in new idealogy that are changing our perception of everyday life.

I don't think so. Crypto is still evolving. And it will still continue to struggle how later so that the government finally agrees with this crypto. Because indeed one of the big goals of crypto is to obtain government permission. So that the movement and development will be easier.

The 10 years of cryptocurrency existence is not that old, that's why it is quite not solid in terms of foundation, maybe in some countries that the law was absolutely dictated by its government like China perhaps it was highly possible that they could limit the use of cryptocurrency in their country while in Europe and some parts of Asia and Americas that the Democracy was still thriving it means nothing.

The status of cryptocurrency will definitely take time to return to all countries. And that time could take many years. However, there is no doubt that crypto has a good potential. Banks are expected to transact in crypto in the future. However, in some currencies, Bitcoin will be the most prevalent currency and gold-silver may be a valuable currency in bank lockers in the future. So I think there can be no alternative to these. I believe that gold-silver and bitcoin will be given. This coin will be popular worldwide it will be universal currency. Transactions will be made in all countries of the world. However, at present mobile wallets are very good for transactions. But I think the transactions will be done from home with the banks.
