First of all there is no upcoming halving atleast for next 4 years. Halving has already taken place a some month back. Moreover it's sort of an automatic event which would happen irrespective of COVID-19. How can it be a non-event?
What I think you are trying to ask is that, bitcoin halving might not have impact on price due to COVID-19. First of all you need to understand that Halving is not a guarantee that there would be the next bull run. So the answer to your question is both Yes and No. As significant event Halving was for bitcoin so was the lockdown during Covid for Economy. Now, one school of thought thinks that COVID would have positive effect on crypto therefore both halving and covid will have positive impact then price could rally up. But if Covid has negative impact on Crypto then both could offset each other and we might not see any significance of this Halving. But halving reduces supply in a bit long term not instantly so we have to wait for an year atleast to see effects of Halving on BTC.

Covid-19 and its effect on the BTC price is kinda getting old. The market is already over it and I think we should stop posting what has been discussed numerous times.

Halving does not reduce supply. It only reduces the new bitcoins mined per block. In the end, the total supply will remain 21 million if we include those supposedly "lost bitcoins".

The cryptocurrency market has not been affected by the global epidemic. Bitcoin in particular was not affected. Bitcoin prices began to rise. Bitcoin prices have risen. Bitcoin is valuable in the market. There are Bitcoin users. Those have helped raise the price of Bitcoin. Lots of investors have been added, most of whom have invested in bitcoin. Some have benefited from bitcoin mining. There are currently many people who are involved in bitcoin. So as bitcoin continues to improve, I have a lot of concerns. I want to stay with the bitcoin market, I want to see. And in the future, the price and quality of bitcoin is the main purpose of the movement.

Covid-19 has given effects to many more people in this world. Moreover if you are in the financial and torusim sectors. They are likely being dead significantlya.
However the result or effect to the crypto world is that this pandemic doesn't give many changes on the crypto world. It is not necessarily know how influencing it is. Moreover, because of the covid-19 pandemic,I think that the crytp world will be always increasing

I think covid has a bad impact on the entire world economy not only from cryptocurrency but entirely including fiat and others.
