Title: Android Bitcoin wallet?
Post by: Monster5 on October 19, 2020, 05:59:18 AM
There is a large selection of Android wallets. Since Bitcoin wallets were originally banned by Apple, developers spent much of their time developing for Android.

Samourai Wallet
Samourai is 100% the best available Android wallet. It has the most features, the best privacy and its developers are constantly working to add the latest Bitcoin features to the wallet. Samourai Wallet has been around for more than 3 years and its code is fully open source.

Mycelium
Mycelium is the most popular Bitcoin wallet on Android. It's very easy to use for sending and receiving payments. Backing up your wallet is also simple, since Mycelium makes it very clear with setup and backup instructions.

Breadwallet
Breadwallet, the great iPhone Bitcoin wallet, recently released an Android wallet. It offers the user control of private keys, an easy to use interface, and passcode support.

Edge
Edge is an easy to use Bitcoin wallet for iPhone and Android. Its familiar login feature makes using the app a breeze for people new to bitcoin. The wallet also creates automatic backups, so you don't have to worry about the technicalities of performing manual wallet backups.

GreenBits
GreenBits is the native Android version of GreenAddress. It’s a multi-signature wallet that also supports hardware wallets like TREZOR and Ledger.

Bitcoin Wallet

Bitcoin Wallet, or “Schildbach Wallet”, was the first mobile Bitcoin wallet. Bitcoin Wallet is more secure than most mobile Bitcoin wallets, because it connects directly to the Bitcoin network. Bitcoin Wallet has a simple interface and just the right amount of features, making it a great wallet and a great educational tool for Bitcoin beginners.

I am an Android user myself, and I am relying heavily on TrustWallet as it is more versatile and open to many altcoins aside from Bitcoin. TW is  more popular and has already generated a critical base of loyal users all over the world. The team behind this wallet and platform are good at marketing their business and just recently they distributed tokens to their users which put more loyalty to all members. All other wallets who got the ambition should seek and analyze the route taken by TW in putting their platform at the center of cryptocurrency maelstrom.

Fo mobile wallet I only prefer to Mycelium.
But, I think the desktop wallet is better. I commonly only use the Electrum wallet to receive and also keep my BTC.

coinbase and blockchain wallet. Sometimes I prefer to use Binance bitcoin address to researve my bitcoin safe and secure.
Online wallet lie this is very risky and they are not safe enough

Blockchain.com is a wallet for Bitcoin which is provided for IOS and Android but only provides a wallet for large and well-known coins.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Stellar and Bitcoin Cash, these are big coins and already have a large community.
I have a Blockchain wallet for a few of my assets and it turns out to be much simpler than the wallet the OP mentioned.

Blockchain.com wallet is the main wallet of Bitcoin. It offers online offline facilities. It supports both android and dextop version. I use both of this but trust wallet can be used as it supports ERC20, TRC20, Bitcoin etc. Which wallet you wallet use, should be kept its all documents in safer place. 2fa, mobile bind, email bind will also essential for the security of your wallet otherwise your account may be hacked like my first wallet.

Trust Wallet has 12 word phase security systems and it also has very easy transaction system. It has no login password. Onec entered then no need to require any information.

Indeed, the Trust Wallet OP did not mention the wallet in his topic, but it is now very common among those who trade on Binance. I'm also a fan of it.

Obviously, this is certainly a lot of benefit if there are more systems available because the needs are indeed moving forward as more and more people begin to understand crypto.
I myself am not happy with this version of a wallet because it is very risky, besides that the cellular is only for use for crypto purposes, if it is combined with social media it is risky to be burglarized.

It is very clear that when you talk about wallets the most important thing is security which is a priority, because even though it looks good and easy but security is ignored or not good, of course all will also think about wanting to use it. But I am sure that all wallets, if they have been made, must have gone through rigorous testing and must be good, now it is only people's habits whether they can and want to change to an alternative wallet.

Actually, I always use the electrum wallet, the desktop wallet. And never use a mobile wallet. However from the review I this that Mycelium and Greenbits are the best choices. But Mycelium maybe not proper for the beginners but it has an advanced display and also features.
On the other hand, Greenbits is a good chocie moreover for the beginner because it is very user-friendly

I absolutely agree with you bro. no matter how fast and easy there is a wallet or wallets with many similar features. security should always be the priority. The positive aspects of the developing digital world are many, but unfortunately, fraud and fraud are also increasing day by day. We encounter a lot when dealing with cryptocurrency transactions. They can use people's desires to earn money very well and use them for their bad goals. this is really sad. That's why I prefer the safest and most reasonable ways to earn money without risk. I recommend it to everyone.

There are quite a few bitcoin wallets on Android, some of them I would like to note - BitPay, this wallet makes it difficult to track your balances using address rotation. You need to use a new Bitcoin address every time you request payment. It does not support Tor in order to prevent attackers or ISPs from linking your payments to your IP address. The wallet will help you choose the appropriate commission for a transaction without overpayment. Bither, BLW, BRD, Eclair Mobile, Edge wallets are also very good.

I recently installed the Trust Wallet and I really liked it. Everything is simple and clear, a good intuitive interface, a normally readable font. In contrast to this wallet, for example, the Clever wallet installed on the tablet has such a microscopic font that I had to read the text with a magnifying glass. And this is against the background of a large empty space.
In Trust Wallet, we own private keys and can import many other wallets, exchange cryptocurrencies there and perform many other useful functions.

I agree, your keys is your crypto.
Much better not to store huge asset in custodial wallet for further security. Trusting the third party for the private keys is not 100% safe. Better to use non-custodial wallet to have full control as long as the keys is safe and store in the right place.
