This is the new face of PayPal adopting cryptocurrency to their site. Maybe for a while it will not goes well but once everything will be fixed the huge amount of traffic falls to PayPal. The virtual machine of saving, sending, receiving fiat or crypto. It will be convenient for all PayPal users at the same time crypto lovers.

of course the more payment platforms that support cryptocurrency like bitcoin, the more that will use bitcoin and the more expensive it will be, paypal sees that there are still many countries that do not provide facilities to buy bitcoin so they think of providing solutions to help many people buy more bitcoins much more.

Some people think that it is a usual thing but if you know the details paypal is a giant, used as the biggest digital and online payments method with millions of active users.
Allowing crypto on their platform will not only help their business but will also ease the investments flowing into crypto also it will boost the trust in cryptocurrencies and crypto market.

Lucky you it's accessible in your country, I'm from a third world country, if I open a PayPal there's no way I can withdraw to my bank account, and I wont recommend you use their PayPal online wallet to hold a huge amount of crypto, remember there's no private key to your funds, if they freeze your account, your crypto is gone, please tread carefully.

Although its comfortable for some people, alot of people who have had bad experience using it, might still not buy the idea of using it, but no doubt indeed it's a great step towards world adoption  :D.

Its really good tho, much easy to buy  and sell crypto now for those who use it, square also bought about $50 million worth of bitcoin about 1 week ago, many tech companies have began to use it as a store of value.

If more centralized company keep adopting, government might be able to do something when your crypto is in a centralized wallet like PayPal.

welcome to the crypto denomination. PayPal is such a giant company that can move from old version into new dimension depends on the world trends. They can study, testing, implement, and adopt essential to come into another paradigm. They can cope up and handle digital vocabulary in advance form versus the other competitors. Innovation is necessary to witness the new form of digital crypto asset which I think PayPal's doing.

Yes, this is another positive news for a wider crypto adoption globally. Though there may be experience some setback at this beginning but with little time in near, PayPal will stabilize the demand especially the users traffic on their website.
This is absolutely a huge welcome development for crypto usage and adoption world wide.

You are right, now PayPal already accepts crypto and actually it is not a really surprising thing as many parties already used Bitcoin. I hope this news will give a big impact on Bitcoin adoption, not only in its price in the market. We also need massive adoption in Bitcoin, not only improve its price to a higher rate.

I personally will never use PayPal to buy and sell crypto for any reason, I mean, why would someone want to use them for crypto related transactions when there are lots of other better and trusted platforms out there, and Considering all the horrible stufs they done to people and their money before, I don't think anyone should trust PayPal to use them for crypto transactions

Bitcoin and several major crypto assets responded to the PayPal (http://coincurb.com/news/paypal-crypto-entrance-pushed-bitcoin-to-exceed-13000/) news. Mostly crypto assets are green, will the growing trend of bitcoin be able to eclipse the defi boom. In the previous weeks, bitcoiner move to the Defi sector but will the recent BTC surge could stop this trend?

This may be an attractive offer. But we still need to be careful with new things like this. Better not be too quick to decide to try immediately. However, it is necessary to observe first how paypal with crypto will go forward.

PayPal is really able to upgrade the system into current trend in the world specifically now that the digital age is approaching in the door. Pretty sure one of their goal is more convenient way to process transaction fiat to fiat, fiat to crypto, and crypto to fiat.

yep it is not advisable that you put a huge amount of crypto in online wallet, it is risky you know. Paypal is very strict ,once they found out that you do a suspicious activity such as scamming people or any activities that you break their rules.. surely it will block your account.

IMHO, First, it was good news for the crypto industry because Paypal is one of the largest online payment service providers, and because Paypal has a lot of users it can also benefit the crypto industry by promoting the use of cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment. I'm using Paypal since 2016 and so far I'm not experiencing any problem with those complaints I can't comment about it because I dont know what was the real cause regarding those problems.

if Paypal is being limited so this would be something bad enough having to do KYC Paypal is always making users disappointed and final results should undertake KYC passport using it is quite difficult if a need of fast cash then they will find it difficult to withdraw their money.

actually what is already there and has been prepared by the exchanger is sufficient to provide the available convenience and does not have to and does not need paypal, besides they have already used maybe only additional facilities.

for those who don't have paypal, I don't think it's necessary and it makes things more difficult for an already easily available situation. I agree with the colleagues above about paypal.

To a great extent i think it is very complicated using paypal, they have strict restrictions, and also accept strict kyc levels, coupled with the fact that you can lose your account at any given time. There is certainly no security of funds. You have to monitor everyone that sends you money, and everyone you send money too, because paypal is strict.

Regardless of the regulation of their platform, I think this is a good step for Paypal to take. Because if we look at the market, cryptocurrency is one of the markets with a large valuation in the world, not to mention that in the future there will be mass adoption of cryptocurrency by the wider community. I think Paypal has made a wise decision by starting to accept cryptocurrency to their platform.

Well I can't guarantee you, your funds will be safe on their PayPal platform, have never used it so I don't know how tight their security is, and also no private key to your crypto wallet, as I said earlier it's just like "their hands in your pocket" kind of thing.
I hope this news will give a big impact on Bitcoin adoption, not only in its price in the market. We also need massive adoption in Bitcoin, not only improve its price to a higher rate.
The news has already given the bulls more momentum to push the price higher, it was about $11,000 after PayPal announced that will start accepting it, the price surged high up to $13,000, although it retraced a little tho, but at the moment posting this it's above $13,000,the partnership is a sign of more good things to come  ;D.

I think it's because of this news that why bitcoin was so bullish that it surpassed it's previous all time high with a few dollars, the news had a positive impact on Bitcoin, and since crypto currency is more accessible now with PayPal, I believe more people will start using it, although I won't advise anyone to store their crypto currency there, remember its a third party site/app "not your keys, not your coins" stay safe out there.

They do not want to lose their reputation so I think they are serious about crypto right now.

True, PayPal company just made bitcoin more accessible to over 330million people who make use of their platform, this is the best way to pump bitcoin price up, more adoption leads to more demand for it,and we all know that the market is driven by demand and supply, PayPal gave bitcoin the exposure it needed.
