Title: Still supporting new projects in cryptocurrency and blockchain?
Post by: TomPluz on October 25, 2020, 03:19:11 AM
Lately, I can sense that new projects are not coming in great numbers as in the past (compared maybe to 2017 and early 2018) and I understand that innovative ones are not as prevalent as before. We  can be experiencing right now a "famine" of good projects because some are just "me-too" or obviously done to make money to developers and marketers.

However, there can be some rare ones that might be worthy of our support especially our yes from our wallet power. But as always I fear that many projects are just money drainers and will just fade when tested by time and in real marketplace.

With this scenario as the backdraft, do you think it is still good to support new projects? Or maybe are you still into it?

Of course, now there are much fewer new ICO projects than in previous years, and this is understandable. After all, the excitement with ICO projects has already passed, besides, there are also fewer new ideas, and this is quite logical. Despite the fact that there are still a lot of fraudulent ICO projects, it seems to me that in general there are much fewer of them and the quality of projects is improving. This is due to the fact that investors are gaining experience and often bad and fraudulent ICO projects have practically stopped collecting easy money from gullible investors.
Bounty hunters are making much less money, but ICO teams are less likely to cheat and abuse KYC checks.
In general, we expect the emergence of new directions for the development of ICO projects similar to DeFi, as well as certain organizational regulation of this type of activity. Therefore, there are still hopes for good ICO projects.

So far I still support new projects, it is evident that I am still in this forum and use a signature, although as a bounty hunter I tend to have confidence that there are still many new projects worthy of and what surprises will be brought.

I don't think a new project always support the the blockchain because there are so many project before seen that could not success itself and could not support the blockchain. That was truly proofed in previous time .

More new projects are actually been injected into the market than in 2017. The only difference is that much of the new projects of nowadays are projects with no solid fundamentals and good teams. Most of these projects were made just to cash out on the market.

More projects are been injected into the cryptospace unfortunately many of them are just for the selfish interest of the CEO and team. Just a few of them is set to be a major competitor in this space.
