Title: You may have noticed a sudden dump few days to bounty payments!
Post by: Bobcrypto on October 28, 2020, 10:54:13 PM
This is just my little observation in recent times; that few days to certain bounties distributions, coin/tokens that were already listed on exchange(s) immediately dump in its price.
I think as a hunter, I have been observing this alone, but i also considered that some hunters might have  experienced this situation. Please shared if you have been noticing this sudden price dump. I stand to be corrected. Thanks all.

I've also noticed it a couple of times. Sometimes whales or even the project team do that to buy hunter's tokens cheap and then pump back up after many hunters would have dumped their bounty reward. In the case of some funny dev, they use the opportunity to dump their bags and blame the  price dump on hunters.

For the past years this is the very reason why bounty hunters blamed by the investors because mostly they're the reason of the dumped of the coins. So the team send their reward after a month or sometimes more than that.

This kind of thing is  avery common experience that we may face in the crypto world. I have exprienced so many projects that I worked for free for their bounty and airdrop. there are no payment or projects are scams or even they are failed to mkae the project success so that I cannot get the payment

Of course it happened. Where when distribution coins, the number of coins owned by many people is increasing. Most also immediately sell their coins, causing the price to fall.

The bounty payment should not make the price collapse, what causes the price to collapse are the developers who do not support price stability and the projects being developed are not very attractive so that investors are reluctant to support them again.

This is a very common occurrence and in many instances the bounty hunters who already received their tokens/coins are usually blamed but what we don't know is that the developers themselves are also doing the same thing because they are not convicted of the future of their projects, so they just dumped whatever tokens at hand and soon they will just evaporate into thin air. This has been a big problem with this industry especially with projects that are just new and led by unscrupulous people. At the end, bounty hunters are at a big disadvantaged most especially if they can not move their tokens because they are locked or if they are not yet distributed.

I think it wasn't new scenario, from 2017 even until this days few bounty payment is something happening in cryptocurrency sphere. Not all of them actually paid for penny amount some are generous to give hunters big payment. We are unfortunate if we are lucky to participate the few payment bounty. Better luck next time.

I totally agree with what you said.

~what causes the price to collapse are the developers who do not support price stability~
Smart, I agree with you. The number of tokens allocation for the bounty program is quite small, commonly it is only about 1%. How can this small number of tokens give big impacts on the market? The problem isn't on the bounty payment, it should be on the other things, it can be on the investors or developers who dump the price in the market.

It happens always with most projects and this is due to the sheer selfishness of project owners; and sometimes the intelligence of token hodlers. HOW?

Project owners are not supposed to announce distribution date, or day to anyone; the rule should remain that tokens will be sent after 2 weeks of bounty and the tokens should be sent in an undisclosed day within the 2 weeks. That way whales would not be aware and there would not be an intentional dump or pump scheme.

Also, projects owners take advantage of the bounty distribution to dump on the investors; while sharing bounty tokens, team also dump over half of their tokens discreetly, causing a drop in price and shielding the blame and spotlight away from them.

You're right. I am also wondering why such is very common. I think if you are a bounty hunter and an investor you will gain more profit if you aware of this one.

You are right when approaching the day of Distribution Bounty suddenly the price of coin dump drastic I think it's intentionally by their team all the projects listing at the small exchange price will be destroyed does not have the value of buying usually this will make the price more dump already happen in many projects and It's surely everyone will blame Bounty Hunter.

It is just sad what is happening with bounties. Hunters are not getting there pay as expected. Even when. The project is successful. They delay payment and get scared when the token dump in the market. One of the bounties is Attention.. It looks they will never pay hunters again. Another project that came up with funny payment process is dego. After so many days of delay they came up with a plan of 20% down payment and 0.8% daily for 100 days to add salt to injury hunters will have to pay the claim fee.

Too many times faced with the fact that after the listing of the coins on the exchange they dramatically lost in value and fell to the bottom. I believe that the fault is not bounty hunters, but early investors who sell coins at the highest price and thereby collapse its value on the exchange.

This is the most common occurrence in the work of bounty hunters. The project team distributes its tokens through the ICO at a certain price, and in order to interest investors, large discounts are first offered, up to 50 percent. We receive our tokens with a slight delay, and when we enter the exchange, these tokens have already dropped significantly in price, sometimes tens, or even hundreds of times.
There can be many reasons for this: both inappropriate behavior of the project team, and the initially inflated price of the token, and the massive dumping of tokens to early investors. However, this doesn't make it easier for bounty hunters.

Bounty payment is not fix rate per Bounty hunter or per project allocation for Twitter campaign,  Facebook campaign, Telegram campa, YouTube campaign, Reddit campaign and Signature campaign. Each campaign is allocated differently depends on how hard the job is. The payment is changeable if the token price adjust lower or higher than the ico price. I think much better not to expect something big if we don't know.

I saw the same thing, but some of the bounties that I participated in like AMEpay were not affected because the number of requests increased, some investors bought because of the level of need.
it's natural for the token price to drop but the token allocation from each bounty is not more than 1% of the supply amount, therefore I don't think bounty hunters do dumps, maybe early investors in ICOs take advantage of profits quickly and sell coins early so that coins are dump and they can buy at a low price

If it is a good project, the token from the hunter will not be able to dump the token price. If it's a new project: I think that's normal and we have to accept it. Investors can see this as a good opportunity to buy more tokens at a very cheap price, even lower than the IDO price.
I usually sell tokens from bounty to buy top coin in big trend like SHIB or ENJ.

be patient if your coins as bounty payment dumped.
It is just market strategy of whales to buy cheap your tokens.
I always hold my coins and wait they will pump again then I will sell my bounty tokens.

I think bounty hunters are responsible for the destruction of a project. Any Bounty Hunter sells them as soon as they receive a payment. He has no responsibility for the development of the project. I think Bounty Hunters should be aware. Because a project takes a lot of time to get to a good position. So we should wait for a better time. Any project should be applauded for moving forward.

I beg to disagree with your observation mate, Not all the time, the bounty hunters should be blamed, how can you say that when you are also part of the bounty hunters community if the project is not that comprehensive and no use case that would be the compelling reason why the price of any project coin/token will dump as you observe most bounties nowadays are just low budget that's why it cant be the compelling reason why the price of the token will dumping hard.

When bounty hunters started to sell massively then there is a big chance for a dump and I think this is just a natural market reaction. However, since the bounty hunters are not the ones holding the majority of the coins or tokens, I think a good project will eventually bounce back but bad project can be killed with just this single action of a small number of people. So this is actually a big teat for the viability of a certain project. Bad projects with bad admins and developers will be blaming the hunters but actually they should be blaming themselves for lack of strategies and mechanisms in placed.

This happen just because of huge bounty reward distribution and the bounty hunter start to hunt the reward. After they get the bounty reward, they start to sell it and don't care what is the current price . Because most of the time bounty hunter think this is free money and they are happy with whatever they get.

Exactly. Some bounty devs dump their bags just before a bounty distribution and blame the hunters, even when it is obvious its not the hunters fault

This is not news to bounty hunters. This is their eternal problem. As soon as a new token hits the average exchange, it almost instantly drops in price, sometimes dozens of times. Of course, there are exceptions. Apparently, this is aimed at those impatient who urgently need money and who are ready to sell these new tokens at any price. Therefore, I am not in a hurry to enter the stock exchange with the beginning of the listing.

I think investors want to gain low price, As usually bounty hunters will sell the bounty tokens immediately.
It will attract to investors and make the price dumps.
That's normal mate, Be careful and better to wait.

I think we should know the basic factor that determine the price of crypto currency, demand and supply.
We know, when bounty hunter got the tokens ,they will sell it.
And It will make the price dumps.
That's the fact.
