Title: Blockchain / Cryptocurrency is far from dead
Post by: tinakoya on October 29, 2020, 12:43:57 PM
I have been hearing rumor that crypto is on it's way to death because couple of investors lost their money chasing DeFi bubbles. Many of these folks FOMO into a coin when they see 1000% increased in price which lead to losing once retracement starts or shall I say dump right to the very bottom.

Amidst all the loss, many investors have had a good year actually as they were lucky enough to have invested right at the bottom due to early research or just hunch.

Blockchain is here to stay and it's far from dead. Companies like UNISWAP, PAYPAL, etc has increased cryptocurrencies' mass adoption by attracting more investors into the space. Governments are also actively working on CBDC.

Though many poor and scam project will fade away and we will be left with genuine projects which will be part of our lives for a very long time. What's your take on this? Your opinion will be much appreciates.

Of course, especially now that this crypto is starting to get a lot of attention from the government because of the stable coins. And I think in the future this crypto will be more advanced and more and more known. So that it will be difficult to die.

Blockchain technology is getting more massively used by more people in the world. People seem very enthusiastic about using Blockchain technology or crypto investment. Indeed, it doesn't make sense if some people stated that Blockchain / Cryptocurrency will be dead soon, in the near future. I don't see a reason for it, we are not on the way to see a dead Blockchain / Cryptocurrency.

We can't think that blockchain and also crypto will be dead. As we know that so far, both blockchain and also crypto are the means of media, they are trusted enough for business and others. And now, it is about the technology where we can't deny the development. Additionally, cryptos are profitable and worthy to invest or trade

I am sure that blockchain and cryptocurrency are two big trends that can be staying for good into the future. What is happening right now is that because of the immense potential and virtually global reach of the cryptocurrency marketplace, there are many projects and platforms taking advantage of the greed of the people.

Plus, of course, since this is just a young industry, we can expect many failed start-up projects along the way. Sadly, there is nothing concrete we can do on scams, frauds, and failures except to educate people, so they know the risks they are entering, and they can do the vetting process themselves -- and hopefully not be blinded by the possible gains only to realize they are already holding empty bags or should I say worthless tokens and coins.

One should mind that before investing any bubble projects, one should analyse deeply and future development. DeFi projects are temporary hype and it wouldn't be last more.

Cryptocurrency will not die because many parties support its mass use, this is needed by some isolated countries. Hype projects like DeFi don't change anything, because every year there will always be new hype and people will get attracted and repeat the same mistakes just for quick profit.

Well, the blockchain and crypto currency space is such a cruel space, where you can be rich in the morning and experience - 1000% loss in the night.

So when they say crypto currency is dying, it is in reference to a particular projects. Several projects has died, is dying and will die in the crypto space.

And you should understand that when a project dies, it does not have any existing buy volume and in the long run gets de listed.

Yes of course cryptocurrency is far from dead. Such as from the significant drop in prices of many cryptocurrencies at the start of this year, however, this has not discouraged global crypto enthusiasts. On the other hand, crypto enthusiasts are optimistic that cryptocurrency will prosper in the future.

Every wave will come to a point of decline, and of course DeFi is no exception, especially when there are so many new projects launched in a hurry and there are many shortcomings in smart contracts. However, the DeFi bubble cannot cause the entire crypto market to collapse, because there are many really good projects that have been around for many years. I think that if DeFi projects follow the safe scenario of lowering interest rates and becoming a lending platform, the crypto market will not be negatively affected. We went through the tough times 2018-2019, there's no reason why we won't continue to exist :)

I do not know how you can even think of such a title.
Blockchain and crypto is on the rise to be honest, there are dozens and dozens of quality projects being developed. Community support is on the rise, adoption is round the corner as people have not started trusting this tech. Big names m, institutes and even most of the governments that were thought to be anti crypto are also becoming pro crypto and launching their official coins as well.
So things are just gearing up for crypto and personally i can sense some big moves in coming months by crypto market.

The crypto industry and blockchain technology were both young, it was just 10 years old (a decade old )and if we base the development today we can observe that it has no sign of slowing down, thats why the development will continue further and the blockchain technology will be more advance(capable) in the years to come and it has no reason to stop the momentum of the cryptocurrency industry thats what I believe.

I don't think cryptocurrency is going to die anytime soon because cryptocurrency has a standard system since it was first created.
Cryptocurrency was created for everyone who is involved in perr to peer transactions and this transaction system no one has, including PayPal and Visa, it is not peer to peer.

As far as I know this system has the advantage in terms of major transactions for the security of the owner.

Uniswap, paypal is attracting lots of investors. But I think these are not issues in cryptocurrency. Because blockchain will remain as technology. Because blockchain is advanced technology. Some days DeFi came to reign in the market. But if you look at the current DeFi space, you will see that the prices are just going down. Cryptocurrency is used by people all over the world. So there is no reason for cryptocurrency to destroy this huge community.

Some people came to the market for the first time. They did not trade stocks or Fiat currencies. They have no idea how markets work. Some people think that the asset should constantly grow, although the markets have their own cycles. And when the market is in decline, people think that it is dying. This is a false feeling.

Blockchain is a technology that has come to stay no doubt about that. The reason why many investors get burnt is that they chase HYIP instead of the quality and value the project brings.

Greed fuels most of the market trends we see. The loss some investors had was the gain of other investors. Money didn't disappear into thin air, it went into the wallet of others. But I hope we can have a system that militates aga9all this rug pull scam projects exiting the space with investor's funds.

That's part of what's slowing down the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency as some see it as a fraudulent means of making money.

People who think that blockchain and cryptocurrency will not be in the market or will die, I think they are weak. They don't really know about the world situation and cryptocurrencies, blockchains around the world. They make unnecessary comments. So I think a lot of weak people do these things even though they have such thoughts. Because cryptocurrency will reach a stage where most people will choose cryptocurrency as their source of income. So I don't think cryptocurrency and blockchain will die. These will be more long-lived.

It seems that blockchain and cryptocurrency are far from dying, as many countries are developing blockchain technology and are still experimenting to ensure these systems are truly centralized.
If we look at the current development of crypto projects, we have seen a system that is decentralized and centralized on several exchange platforms and financial systems, of course this is a consideration for traditional financial systems because we will see how the system works and see there are many investors who are interested in many projects. to get quick profits.

Those who spread all kinds of rumors about cryptocurrencies, in fact, I think they advise their close users to sell cryptocurrencies by talking like this. He also buys those cryptocurrencies at low prices. Basically their trap. Don't let them fall into this trap. So I think such rumors can hurt some users.

Since cryptocurrency is popular all over the world. So everyone knows about the popularity of cryptocurrency. Some people may throw such wrong words. However, those of us who are in the cryptocurrency market at all times will not listen to people. We can see every moment that new tokens are being added to the market and the total wealth is increasing. So will these coins or all the people who have kept money here die? They will never die, they will survive. The cryptocurrency market will continue to improve. As time goes on, the total assets of the cryptocurrency will increase.

Blockchain technology has gained recognition as one of the world's leading technologies. This is mainly due to Bitcoin. The popularity of blockchain technology and all cryptocurrencies makes us adapt. These cryptocurrencies will survive in the market forever. However, some currencies may collapse as their popularity declines. There will be no people to buy those cryptocurrencies in the market. So they will be taken on the path of destruction. But no investor or user will be harmed. So I think the cryptocurrency market will never be destroyed.

Cryptocurrency will never die. People have a lot of resources with cryptocurrency. If cryptocurrency could be found, what would be the assets of this stingy market? I think cryptocurrency is needed to keep people's resources alive. Bitcoin in particular. Cryptocurrencies are the most popular in the market because there are many benefits to investing in cryptocurrencies today. If you invest in any other way, the level of profit is very low. There is no possibility of a little currency being destroyed.

Blockchain technology is valued primarily for the fact that it allows you to absolutely safely store large databases of various information on the Internet online, and everyone can use these data in the prescribed manner.  The revolutionary and promising nature of blockchain technology is recognized by almost all states of the world and is beyond doubt.  This technology is just beginning to be introduced into all spheres of human life and its importance can hardly be overestimated.  Therefore, of course, it will continue to develop.
The cryptocurrency is still relatively young, but it is actively supported by people and is developing rapidly.  She is a little over ten years old, but she has already managed to attract everyone's attention with a completely new approach to the concept of money.

Yes blockchain and cryptocurrency are very far from "death", firstly because the cryptocurrency market is huge and there are many people and even companies investing their money in this market. Secondly there are many developers who are constantly developing blockchain and cryptocurrency. Third, there are still communities like this forum that will continue to use cryptocurrency. I guess what OP asking is about cryptocurrency in general, can cryptocurrency die?
if it's about a specific project of course it depends on the team on the project, but if it's about cryptocurrency in general then it's very different.

In my opinion, cryptocurrency can die if there are no users using it or the internet cannot be used all over the world. These two things are the reason cryptocurrencies are still around today.

In the future, we will see blockchain adoption by many countries, we have seen Facebook express its interest in crypto, but they failed to make Libra coin due to some rejection from America.
If we look at China, Japan, Russia and other countries that support cryptocurrency, we have seen a very significant development, because blockchain has been recognized as a modern technology that can run on computers and smartphones.

No, Libra doesn't fail. Libra has only moved from a utility coin to stablecoin, but the Libra project is fully operational and still developing, according to news next year Libra will officially launch as a stablecoin.

You forget about Korea and many other countries, because so many countries support cryptocurrency, it's just that it's not widely discussed.

Good information, if the team continues to develop the Libra coin as a stablecoin then which currency do you think the developers will choose,
such as USDT = Dollar.
I hope there will be an official notification from the developer, given this social media platform has a lot of enthusiasts around the world.

Dead means disabled, useless, shitcoin, unproductive, and toxic. The words are far from bitcoin, worthy words for btc are productive, useful, able to become the main currency in the future, healthy coin, potential, and valuable.
Cryptocurrency will be dead if bitcoin dead.

What makes crypto to dead now? I don't see the reason why we can see the death of crypto or blockchain now. Blockchain and crypto are growing now and we are going to a better future with this innovation. I think it is not the time to judge the death of blockchain and crypto. In the fact, this is becoming more alive.

Crypto will continue to exist as long as crypto developers continue to innovate and continue to adapt to market conditions that are increasingly complex every year. But the problem is that the government intends to "kill" cryptocurrency with various regulations which make it difficult to penetrate crypto into everyday life.

Blockchain technology can never be destroyed. Because the resources of users all over the world are here. Different experts and different professions invest in the cryptocurrency market. So I think but if the currency is destroyed, it will have a huge impact on the world economy. So it is useless to imagine such a thing.

I guess 'If you can't beat them then join them' is the right statement here now. Even though many have tried to trash bitcoin and crypto in the past, they are now seeing how innovative the space is becoming and how pandemic couldn't slow down the development. They are trying so hard to regulate it's usage but decentralization still exists and there will always be a loophole in it's mass adoption.

People ideas are wrong. I believe that blockchain or cryptocurrency will never die. There is no chance of dying any day. Investors will never be able to remove their investment from cryptocurrency. The amount of investment is constantly increasing. So the more investors there are in the market, the better the condition of the cryptocurrencies will be.

Blockchain or cryptocurrency will never die. Because a lot of people are joining the market. The amount of investment in the cryptocurrency market is constantly increasing. So the amount of human resources in the cryptocurrency market is increasing. I don't think it's possible to destroy so many resources at once.

Why can they lose money because of crypto? Maybe they are too ambitious and dare to take risks without considering before buying and investing there. If it says crypto will die, I think there is very little chance that it will happen because crypto provides new things in the world of investing

One thing you have to understand here over ten years bitcoin was developed since then people have been saying that it's a scam project but the same people today are regreting why they didn't but into bitcoin as of that time, we all know that where good things are there's always bad things too. If cryptocurrency should have died it would have been dead since three years ago but we see the only fake crypto projects is the one dying.
