Decentralized cryptocurrency, including bitcoin, will never be supported by states.  They can legalize her walking on their territory by establishing general rules for walking, but they will not actively support her.  States do not need a decentralized cryptocurrency.  Especially after they already have the ability to issue their national digitized currency by central banks.

I agree that the state will not actively create conditions for the circulation of cryptocurrency, including bitcoin.  Now they will deal with their digitized currencies and establish comfortable conditions for them for walking, which means they will establish stricter rules for walking for a decentralized cryptocurrency.  At the same time, the states do not yet see a threat to the stability of the global financial system from the side of cryptocurrency and therefore have decided to study it and regulate its circulation.

Actually it would be great if this bitcoin received approval from the government. Because of course it will make bitcoin holders feel safe. And more confident that this investment in bitcoin is the best. This is why approval from the government I think is important for bitcoin.

Bitcoin does not belong to the government, it belongs to everyone, so Bitcoin does not need the support of governments either. Currently only a few countries accept BTC as a commodity or new payment method, but in the future it is possible that BTC will reach $1M and become the national reserve asset. Then governments will help promote BTC to protect the value of assets within their budgets.

Now that the world of crypto is increasingly developing, the government is also starting to see bitcoin as a good investment. So that maybe someday the government will support bitcoin. Because technology is getting more advanced and developing. So that it is no longer impossible to invest in the online world.

You are too optimistic about Bitcoin.  In general, states are not interested in the spread and development of decentralized cryptocurrency.  They will legalize it, but they will not take significant measures to maintain it.  Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will not be able to fully develop without legalization by states, since the infrastructure for its mass use as a means of payment will not develop.  Therefore, the cryptocurrency itself is primarily interested in the legalization of cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin will never be the national reserve currency.  Bitcoin will mostly remain the currency of citizens and some commercial structures, but not states.

There are some countries that really support Bitcoin, but it won't be easy for all countries to support Bitcoin. There are many reasons, one of them is about regulation on the country. Some countries cannot accept Bitcoin because they only use their national currency for payment tool. But for the digital asset, most countries in the world has supported Bitcoin.

Bitcoin already supported by many countries in the world, even I heard one country in Afrika used Bitcoin to secure their economic crisis. It is very significant use of Bitcoin, and it is very helpful not only for some people but also for all people in a country. Yep, Bitcoin should be supported by the government.

I will say its not threat for government. Actually when it will be globally accepted, there will be world wide regulation body and then government may control market but as present time there is not legal authority from government side so everybody thinking for its threatening. Hope in future there will be strong body about it for control and everywhere BTC will be accepted.

thanks.

Since the government of any country does not get tax from bitcoin transactions. So the governments of different countries declare bitcoin transactions as money laundering. The governments of some countries support Bitcoin. In addition to some countries there are many developed. They have approved Bitcoin. No specific Bitcoin authority is known yet. However, to my knowledge, I do not know any specific authority of Bitcoin. So the matter is going on with this idea to the whole world. So the government of any country does not want to approve Bitcoin because it does not have the authority. Because it can play a huge role in the economy. But a threat to the country's government. But I think if the government of a country approves Bitcoin, it will be a threat to that country. I think the wheel of the country's economy will continue to move faster.

Of course, every country has rules that have been made to keep what is happening in the world with the development of bitcoin to be scrutinized and paid close attention to. because it could be that bitcoin is used as money laundering if it is not looked at properly which will be detrimental to the country. so we can be sure that clear rules will be made so that there can be reciprocity. that's why there are still countries that have yet to recognize bitcoin as a legal medium of exchange. because there are still many countries that are not ready to accept this progress.

It is depends on the government of any country. Actually those are developing country it is difficult to allow bitcoin. Though we know the advantages of bitcoin but also have disadvantages as country economic issue. If they think they can not control bitcoin then definitely it won't allow by the government of that particular country.

Governments in most countries do not support bitcoin. Because the government of any country does not get any tax from bitcoin. Bitcoin is controlled by the user. It cannot be controlled by the government of any country. There are more or less bitcoin users in the world. One country has Bitcoin users. Bitcoin has a role to play in keeping the wheel of the economy moving in most countries. Many people are unaware of this. The way Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is being criticized in the media now, Bitcoin is definitely gaining more popularity all over the world. That's why the promotion of Bitcoin has increased.

The government wants to know everything. Controllable electronic money will survive, and virtual currencies beyond the influence of the government will be eliminated

It is a thrieat, yes! But on the other side this could helpful too at the same time only if government will use its power to manage bitcoin properly. Bitcoin is just a system created by an individual or a group, it is not a system created outside from the universe just to believe that government has no power over it.

states will want to use it. Because most wars today are economic. first you try to damage the enemy country economically. this can be done from such money in later times. Therefore, I think that all countries will try to follow and control bitcoin and all other money movements in their own countries in the future. Of course, I don't know if this is possible. because bitcoin has no specific center.

But right now, the era has been changing. This is the digital era. SO many more countries are aware of digitalization, about digital money and assets. That is why right now, we can find many countries accept BTC. We can see a better future for this

Most of the govt of the countries consider Bitcoin is a treat to their policy. They think Bitcoin may be used in illegal ways like money laundering, illegal weapons purchasing and many illegal ways. But still now only for few incidents, Bitcoin is safe and not their detrimental to the financial policy. Govt can rethink about to legalize in different ways after Paypal acceptance which will be beneficial to their financial policy.

It is necessary first of all to find out what we mean by government support for bitcoin.  We see that now most states have already legalized cryptocurrency or intend to do so in the near future by establishing general rules for their circulation on their territory.  It hardly needs to be called cryptocurrency support.  It's just consent to walk around the country.  Support should be considered the creation of special conditions for the development of its liquidity and infrastructure.  In general, states will not do this, that is, they will not support Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, since they not only do not need a decentralized cryptocurrency, it contradicts their general financial policy.  States will develop their national digitalized central bank currency.

Many governments support bitcoin and many countries have already legalized bitcoin and this is the right decision, but unfortunately most of the world still does not want to legalize bitcoin due to the fact that too many scammers use bitcoin to launder money and the transfers of this money that are laundered through bitcoin cannot be tracked and this is a huge problem.

Bitcoin is not supported by the presidents of most countries or the administration of his party. Although Bitcoin is accepted as one of the best currencies in the world, experts in different countries think that if Bitcoin fluctuates, banks will be harmed if they allow transactions in banks. Governments in many countries have not approved bitcoin for such an idea. However, countries with more developed economies must prioritize bitcoin approvals and bitcoin transactions.

Decentralized cryptocurrency completely contradicts the principles of the functioning of the state financial system.  Therefore, states will never actively support Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.  First of all, this will be expressed in the fact that states will not use bitcoin in international settlements and government authorities will not widely use bitcoin.  Bitcoin, like all decentralized cryptocurrencies, will be mainly used by citizens and part of commercial structures.

Bitcoin is not a threat to any country's government. Bitcoin is a very common currency in the world. Governments in many countries view Bitcoin as a moral issue. Because they think so many transactions are money laundering. But this is a misconception of governments. Again, they do not want to allow different casino games inside the country, so all the activities of casino games are done in cryptocurrency. Many expert advice has also been given to the government in this regard. But I don't think Bitcoin can be for any country.

threat? In my opinion, it is not a threat, all things must have positive and negative sides, depending on who does the transaction. If the transaction is done by a good human being, it will definitely be something positive, so always think positively.

Think clearly.
Think clean.

And look how the Bank treats Bitcoin like an enemy in the blanket.

Banks also need Bitcoin for their financial circulation to run smoothly with transaction fees and banks also don't want to accept Bitcoin if it goes into its radar because it is unstable.
These two sides are difficult to join together like Water and Fire.

Price volatility is just one of many reasons why governments and their banks in general will not support and will not use a decentralized cryptocurrency in their activities.  Of course, banks will conduct some services in cryptocurrency, such as the exchange of cryptocurrency for regular currency, since there is no risk for them here.  For states, a decentralized cryptocurrency is "no one's" secured financial assets that can depreciate at any time.  Therefore, states can legalize cryptocurrency, but they will not actively support it.  Moreover, the opportunity has now opened for states to use their digitized central bank currencies.

Yes brother you got the right point. The government has no control over Bitcoin. Unlike other real currencies, the government cannot impose any taxes on Bitcoin. You are right that Bitcoin is a threat to the government.  Bitcoin cannot be controlled by the government.  The Bangladesh government has declared Bitcoin illegal.  But there are as many advantages to Bitcoin as there are disadvantages.  Bitcoin will be used in most of the illegal activities in the mind of Bangladesh.
I think and what is a big threat is that the existence of bitcoin as a digital currency makes everything transparent so that no one can do corruption and money laundering, so it is certain that there will be criticism from several governments in various countries.

I believe that this question cannot be answered unambiguously. It seems to me that the stumbling block is the state, where the management system has a huge corruption component. Many officials today also buy cryptocurrency in order to hide their illegal income, to hide it not only from state law enforcement agencies, but also from the International community. On the other hand, the same officials will not want to support the legalization of cryptocurrency, so that the state does not receive any opportunity to obtain information about their income.

Bitcoin does not stop at the government of any country. And Bitcoin cannot be controlled by the government of any country. Because in the absence of authority they cannot control Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a currency known all over the world. In the absence of authority, no country's government controls bitcoin. The governments of each country first report the use of bitcoin as money laundering. In many countries, governments do not support gambling, gambling is a bitcoin marriage. So most governments do not support bitcoin.

it is true what my friend said above, that bitcoin could not be controlled, that is clear because bitcoin has its own authority and no country is able to control it directly.
but the government has the authority not to accept as a legitimate tool to be used by the stipulated rules.

many countries have accepted bitcoin and the consequences that may occur but also many have not been able to because they have not made regulations for bitcoin. what is feared is the misuse of bitcoin to be used as illegal money laundering. but if the government regulates it well it can reduce the misuse.

However, in all the countries where bitcoin is legal, but in all countries, bitcoin is being used. And in some countries, bitcoin is not legal in those countries, but in secret, using and laundering money.  But it is better not to do money laundering.

It makes no sense for states and their governments to support Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies.  All agree on the obvious fact that states have their own centralized currency, which they tightly control.  Why would they support virtual financial assets that are not owned by anyone, the price of which they cannot influence in any way and which could harm their economy?  Until the cryptocurrency poses a threat to the global financial stability of states, they will legalize cryptocurrency, but they will not actively support it.  After all, these are different systems and approaches - centralization and decentralization.  Moreover, states now have a good alternative to decentralized cryptocurrency - their digitalized currencies of central banks.

States are forced to legalize the circulation of cryptocurrency, but they themselves will never support it.  They not only do not need it, decentralized cryptocurrency is alien to states by its nature.  Most likely, over time, they will try with regulatory measures to reduce the impact of decentralized cryptocurrency and the interest of citizens in it.  Including for this purpose the digitized currencies of the central banks of states will be used.

I think it will happen sooner or later. It is hard to see what would stop central banks from creating their own digital currencies and using regulation to tilt the playing field until they win. The long history of currency tells us that what the private sector innovates, the state eventually regulates and appropriates. I have no idea where bitcoin’s price will go over the next couple years, but there is no reason to expect virtual currency to avoid a similar fate. But it is folly to think that bitcoin will ever be allowed to supplant central-bank-issued money. It is one thing for governments to allow small anonymous transactions with virtual currencies; indeed, this would be desirable. But it is an entirely different matter for governments to allow large-scale anonymous payments, which would make it extremely difficult to collect taxes or counter criminal activity.

But it's shocking that most governments are against bitcoin. Governments prefer electronic money. Governments want to control every single transaction. But it's not possible to control bitcoin. But electronic money can be tracked easily and can be controlled by governments. On the other hand, bitcoin is controlled by its user. No central authority can control it. Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin is beyond the control of governments. But governments want to know who, where, how much money spend. But in bitcoin transaction system this types of information is not possible to know.

I think bitcoin does not needed support by government, because bitcoin is decentralised. Government cannot control bitcoin . Government can create new crypto which adopt Blockchain technology. It is my opinion.

it will take a while before it is possible to know exactly which countries in the world can accept bitcoin. But in recent times, many countries accept that it brings their economy as well as their national prosperity.

Brother, Bitcoin is now legalized in many developed countries of the world. And there are some states that don't want to legalize Bitcoin. I think one day this bitcoin will become legal all over the world. Gradually all countries will start legalizing Bitcoin. That day is not far away. No one has any control over Bitcoin, it is self-regulated. The government also has no control over Bitcoin so the governments of many countries do not want to legalize it. But I'm optimistic that Bitcoin is going to be legalized all over the world very soon.

Already, a small number of countries around the world have legalized Bitcoin, and a number of international financial institutions, businesses, and educational institutions have adopted Bitcoin. Hopefully in the future most countries will accept bitcoin. The problem is that the governments of many countries want to control bitcoin, which will not be possible in practice. Their fear is that if Bitcoin is recognized, it will be used on the black market, and they will not get any kind of tax. There are good and bad sides to everything, I think if the state legalizes Bitcoin, it will be more good than bad.

A threat? Is that how you see Bitcoin?, if true then you shouldn't be using it :D, mind you money laundering has been there way before bitcoin was created, just that with bitcoin anonmity the offenders won't get caught cause they can not be traced down to their hiding place you can only track their transactions using blockchain explorer and nothing more, let's face it everything has its advantage and disadvantage so let's just say thats the only disadvantage of using bitcoin.

All the users involved in cryptocurrency know but will never be able to control Bitcoin. The reason is that whenever people start investing on Bitcoin, no one will keep money in the bank. Then it will be seen that the financial situation will get much worse. And all the countries that usually invest in Bitcoin are very developing.

If we compare Bitcoin and the dollar, then the government really has huge leverage over the dollar rate and at the same time has the ability to constantly manipulate this currency. Bitcoin is beyond their control. But if you take into account the laws that are adopted by the government to influence the market and restrict the users of cryptocurrencies, then in this matter, not everything is so simple.

I am sure that one day many governments will support Bitcoin, otherwise Bitcoin will continue to be like this will not develop.  Not all governments today reject Bitcoin, and I actually think that countries that do not accept Bitcoin as a legal means of payment will miss this modern payment technology.  Regarding the threat posed by Bitcoin to the government, I think it is not and there will always be ways to deal with this.

But if Bitcoin is supported for trading by the government then I make sure everything can be dangerous for the assets of everyone in the country.
The logic is that when a rich person in that country buys Bitcoin at a high price then when there is a Bearish he can lose his assets and can blame the government, right?

I don't feel the need for the government to legalize Bitcoin but the government just simply opens the way to exchange for Bitcoin in that country.

There is no way Bitcoin will be supported by the government.
The reason is Bitcoin is stubborn and does not want to be regulated by the government.
No matter how strong if someone is stunned and difficult to control, it will forever be ruffian.

Bitcoin was created decentralized and until whenever Bitcoin will not be supported by the government because the government cannot regulate Bitcoin.

The approval and legalization of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is one thing. And support for the development of cryptocurrency is completely different. Many states have already legalized cryptocurrency, that is, established its legal status, conditions and procedure for its circulation in society. However, no state has ever supported and will not support a decentralized cryptocurrency, that is, it will not create preferential conditions and infrastructure for its circulation.
States are only using blockchain technology to create their national central bank stablecoins. The states, most likely, by means of legal regulation will try to oust cryptocurrency from circulation. Let's see how they succeed.

Thank you for posting.  Thank you very much because I learned a lot from your post and I agree with you.  Bitcoin is a threat to us if the cryptocurrency is not legalized by the government.  I think it should be introduced in our country in the same way as it has been introduced in other states

Bitcoin is a threat to us if the cryptocurrency is not legalized by the government.

Well i believe otherwise @Akhi600. The threat is the government, controlling our life, our money, which car or house we buy and every step we take. Cryptocurrencies give us the freedom not to be constantly watched and controlled by those governments. And they do all that simply by knowing what our bank accounts are, in which banks, in which countries, and also knowing the amount of money we have.

With cryptocurrencies they cannot do any of those things, we would stop being slaves of their system and that is what they do not want.

That's the opposite side, Bitcoin cannot be perfect at everything. And where there is money there are people who try to cheat and lie to take what is not theirs. Of course I'm against scams, but we can't have it all. If governments regulate Bitcoin to avoid scams, the essence of Bitcoin would disappear, as it would also cease to be the freedom it represents.
