Title: Some of my thoughts on improving the forum.
Post by: Nostoman on November 15, 2020, 06:38:38 AM
Many managers are needed here to make the forum better. Moderator shots and forum owners can play a role in inviting managers. If the forum admin and all moderators try, they can invite the forum manager to take the forum forward for the better. So I think a lot of time should be given here. But if we try to protect our interests here, the forum will never improve. So you have to give up your interests and invite the managers. Something will be available in the future from the forum. But for that we have to give time in the forum. Lots of publicity is needed. Bitcoin Forum 55553667 Posts in 1269485 Topics by 2864288 Members. 943068 Posts in 163178 Topics by 55320 Members in our forum. So if you can understand the difference, see why so much traffic is being generated there. So we have to remain steadfast in fulfilling our responsibilities. Forum admins will be requested to invite more managers here, subject to discussion of moderators.

I'm pretty sure many bounty managers have already heard about Altcoinstalks forum as I've seen it suggested in different bounty groups before and there's a good reason why they don't (or they can't) launch many campaigns here. If project owners do not like what they see, they will not allow their product to be advertised. Maybe we could also get @Small Rabbit's input why Amepay team decided to stop their signature campaign (reference (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=177207.msg975137#msg975137))

In short, inviting them over here will less likely improve the forum.

What needs to be addressed first is the quality of members posts and the admin is trying something to achieve that with the "Teleport Members".

These are his words and I fully agree

The crypto community is growing fast, and with new waves of users, the experience gets diluted. We end up with groups of people talking nonsense about price speculation, with no real knowledge at all.

If there's enough quality members, real discussions, and real interests in new projects or other platforms like gambling, then maybe more teams would be interested to introduce their projects here.

Besides, admin/moderators cannot invite them directly as that would also mean endorsing these managers. What happens if projects handled by these managers turned out to be a bust? It's likely that hunters will also put the blame on forum officers. That's probably the reason why the Ambassador program was also launched recently.

~ So you have to give up your interests and invite the managers.
What do you mean by "interests"?

The forum is gaining popularity. However, the members who are present in our forum, they constantly discuss more about the price increase and less. In fact they have no knowledge. Here I agree with the admin. But to take the forum forward, good managers are needed. They will come here as a result of the invitation. As a result, it is natural that some new knowledgeable people will come to the forum. But try to understand here what kind of people they are discussing. Did our forum really improve?

Active members here should always think about improving the forum. Taking active members from the forum is becoming a very intelligent and knowledgeable person. Being able to learn a lot about new things. I am also getting some amount of payment from here. So I think all active members should invite managers to improve the forum. Friends and more people should be informed about the forum.
