Hi Everyone. It's been a year since I stopped engaging myself in crypto and a friend of mine introduce me this forum. I have been reading here some of the topics and discussion and I like some of it while hate the others, lol. Just kidding ;). Anyway, I'm a teacher in a religious organization and some of my students are at aged and the youngers are 30's.
Since most are already aged they are not familiar with blockchain while the others were trying to connect spiritual things for their view to support their religious doctrine against it. Of course as a religious teacher I have my own opinion about the connection of blockchain and religious matter but that's not what I want to talk about. Rather I want to raise this Question:
"In your experience, regardless of your religion or own belief how do you introduce blockchain and cryptocurrency to someone who is too much religious?"
-
It is easy. Provided they use internet and smart phones. Bitcoin is a technology that is taking the world by storm just the way internet did. Bitcoin/cryptocurrency will make payment processes easy and store data for future use.

In my opinion, There is absolutely nothing wrong with mixing blockchain and religion. There is nothing wrong with the blockchain innovation but like everything in life, we have people who will seek to turn a positive technology into something dangerous and as such, give it a bad name. Blockchain is successfully being applied for good in all aspects of life which is a good thing.

it is legitimate that if there is something that connects the blockchain with the beliefs we hold, whether religiously is that there are violations that may not be according to what was studied.
for me as long as I don't cheat, let alone deceive someone with blockchain, then what I do is still within the criteria that can be accepted. we try is a must and absolute otherwise we will suffer ourselves even though our understanding of religion is obliged to do business.

I also ever have this kind of situation. The way is by listening to their view of blockchain and then letting them know about our explanation of the blockchain and crypto itself. Introducing crypto basic will help us to ensure them. It is about the positive and also negative sides of the crypto itself. then, let's them decide

"In your experience, regardless of your religion or own belief how do you introduce blockchain and cryptocurrency to someone who is too much religious?"
Personally, I have no experience with religious people in regard to the blockchain and cryptocurrency. However, I do believe that it is important that we respect whatever views these people may have on this subject though if they have an open mind maybe a little education can help. Always emphasize to them that blockchain technology means transparency and away from the control of a group of people and in some sort can be freedom to many. There is no need to go into the deep technological aspect as that can be so hard to fathom for people already above 60s, maybe younger people can be easily swayed to open their understanding. One thing for sure is that there is no evidence to connect blockchain and cryptocurrency to the myriad of symbols in the Bible.

Money. We all need money even they are spirituals they need to buy bread, water, rice, drinks, personal hygiene, house and lot, and clothes. I will say in a polite way like how are you? Did you know there are another opportunity to earn money in the right way through gadgets? Did you hear about it before? Are you interested to hear what is that?
Then the introduction will begin. Maybe if they are more than 10 I will give my referral link and commit myself to guide them.

I don't think they will be good at it since you have said they were at aged level. The fact that the improvement of technology is just happening during our time so that would be hard for them.
-
Blockchain exists all over the world as the greatest technology. People transact using this technology. However, since you are a religious teacher. Talking about some religions, he said that technology will never be approved. Many people use blockchain technology to transact directly. Again, many trade in dishonest ways. There are two types of risks. I think those who use blockchain technology in an honest way have a right to use it. But I think it is forbidden for those who use blockchain transactions to succeed in bad deeds.
-
When confidence grows in a person, he will always take a path that he thinks is good for everyone, blockchain was created to make it easier for everyone to make digital payment transactions, here we need media such as cellphones, computers and the internet to start everything.
like night and day, the blockchain will continue to be like that and irreversibly, every transaction that has been sent through a bitcoin wallet will be written in the blockchain ledger and no one can change it.
-
I don't think religion is against economics or science and technology. People of different religions can use cell phones and use money for daily payments, they also embrace medical advancement and accept the existence of other religions.
Blockchain is technology & crypto is a means of payment, they are not against any religion doctrine, so I think people are very open to their ideas and concepts.
-
I am sure it will be difficult for those who are too religious to get close and want to know blockchain. Moreover, many religious people think that blockchain is a bad investment and are against religion. For that, it would be better to explain carefully to them. Then we leave it to them to believe it or not.
-
Need to invent something new to manage science and technology. I think blockchain technology is a new invention of science. This discovery can never be overstated. Because it is possible to make many big transactions using blockchain technology. Such transactions have never been heard of in the past. But now it is possible all over the world. So I think religion is not an obstacle. Blockchain technology has taken place in people's minds as the best technology.

Here's how to put one together for use with blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Let me know about your explanation. Helping us decipher cryptocurrencies can help.

I think the crypto industry is not bias no matter what your belief is, it doesn't matter if you're an atheist, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist etc because crypto is not about religion that's I introduce it to anybody without hesitation.
-
In my opinion, everyone has the right to their own beliefs. Even if religious people think crypto is not good, that's their right. If you really want to try to tell and explain, then explain it in light and easy to understand language. That's also if they want to hear. If they don't want to, then don't be forced.

You are absolutely right, since every religious person has his own beliefs and opinions regarding this or that aspect of modern life. But you also need to take into account the fact that many church ministers convince their flock of this or that idea, which turns into a sect and fanatics that oppose cryptocurrencies.
-
I am sure it will be difficult for those who are too religious to get close and want to know blockchain.
This is actually their great barrier leaving behind the opportunity to learn the wonderful idea which is the very reason why blockchain had been formulated.
-
How does religion clash with the use of the blockchain? (Asking out of curiosity, I have no experience with this.)
I agree that you shouldn't force it if someone is very opposed to the concept but it might be worth explaining that it is just a different approach to finance, it has no inherent disadvantages to the way money traditionally works.
-
Religions are essentially coordination tools. They allow humans, as a society, to coordinate toward a common utility. Cryptocurrencies are mechanisms to coordinate society without a central bank.
-
I don't think religion is a barrier to blockchain technology. Because now people all over the world are benefiting a lot by transacting in blockchain. But religion can call it gambling. I am not anti-religious. I respect all religions. But I think blockchain technology has improved so much that people need it. Blockchain technology has been able to meet the needs of people's daily lives to some extent. Because everyone knows about using blockchain technology.
-
I never had experienced like this before. But I think in some religious sect knowing cryptocurrency is a good chance for them to connect it into their belief specifically to the sects who believe about the end times.
-
Many religious movements are partially or completely removed from government, respectively, they have some immunity to interference in their affairs by the state. It can also be seen as a kind of decentralization, which is what blockchain is. So why reject what may be acceptable. Religion rejects only total control over itself and its flock.
-
It is quite difficult to associate Blockchain with religious people. Moreover, most of them are unsure and do not believe. I myself am a little lazy to deal with people like that. So in my opinion, just explain what is necessary. If you want to hear then go ahead, but if not then just leave. It's also useless that it will take a long time to convince someone like that.
-
If a religion obstructs or goes against blockchain technology transactions, it will never be able to control users. Cryptocurrency transactions through blockchain will not be stopped by the government of any country or any religion. However, I do not know whether there are rules and regulations in religion. Cryptocurrency transactions will be more vigorous in the future. So there must be blockchain technology.

The person who is too religious will become in culture shock once he/she entered into crypto world. Seminary is far different from crypto. The subjects is really different and difficult to understand once you are from another world converted into new world. I hope you and your students can cope up in cryptocurrencies subjects. It will be hard at first but along the way all of you can overcome the struggles.
-
I dont see any connection for being a religious and a new technology If a person is religious this does not mean he did not believe in new technology like this digital money there are some people regardless of what profession they have that very open in new things especially like Bitcoin.
-
Wait, I don't get it, what is the problem? Are religious people against blockchain? Last time I checked, bible didn't say anything about technology ;D
The only problem imo might be the desire to learn new things, if you got that, there is nothing to stop you!
-
To be honest, I am a devout Christian, but I am very open to technological developments. I often introduce cryptocurrency to my friends in faith. Because until now I have not found a single verse in the Bible against the adoption of cryptocurrency.
-
Religion teaches people you never bad behave your parents Never underestimate the measure . You never steal .you never robbery . Always speaks the truth . So a trader who has all these good site he will be a perfect blockchainer .
-
You just tell him about the security oof blockchain. Because only blockchain can offer real decentralization other than blockchain no one can provide it. It has equality for all. No one have any access to your money
