With the recent foray of PayPal into Bitcoin and its subsequent buying of newly mined coins due to immense demand coming from its millions of users, the whole cryptocurrency community rejoiced because this one factor alone is a big one contributing a lot to the continuing pump of the coin's value.
Now, I am sure that after Bitcoin there can be a time when PayPal will also be stretching its wing and accept an altcoin or better yet a number of altcoins into its fold. Will it be Ethereum, XRP, BitcoinCash or a number of DeFi assets?
Take a guess.
-
For now BTC may be the only crypto supported by PayPal but if they later decide to expand their crypto support, ETH, XRP could be next.
-
The cryptocurrency community is very happy. Because big websites or companies around the world have approved Bitcoin in their announcements. So the popularity of people all over the world has increased even more. PayPal is not universally accepted. However, most developed countries use PayPal. PayPal is very effective for freelancers. PayPal has approved Bitcoin. That means the popularity has increased even more.
-
PayPal has been able to accept Bitcoin. Bitcoin's popularity has helped to increase. Bitcoin has become a popular currency among cryptocurrencies. But I believe who will accept more currencies in the future. I believe that Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin DeFi will be accepted by anyone. Then PayPal and cryptocurrency will become more popular all over the world.
-
I think that in next step paypal will add several altcoins. Top5 or top10 I think. There is no point of adding just one. Proof of this might thr fact that Paypal already support 26 fiat currencies.
-
PayPal is a very huge and rich payment system and PayPal has a very large customer base and I am sure that gradually PayPal will add as many altcoins as possible, because PayPal understands that the more altcoins will be available in their payment system, the more money they will can earn, so it's just a matter of time.

I thought stable coins like USDT and coins that could be mined like ETH would be paypal's choice, but so far I haven't seen the Bitcoin payment / deposit menu in my paypal account, it looks like if paypal really wants to expand the reach of crypto users, paypal will choose altcoins that have a high level of trust by crypto users, such as the top altcoins on coinmarketcup. they will easily add these altcoins
-
I have the impression that someone is clearing the way for PayPal. Here are a few facts, although it may just be a coincidence. Binance will soon start blocking US users ' accounts (14 days to withdraw funds). Coinbase stops supporting margin trading.
-
Normally the most popular and beneficial altcoins like Eth, Xrp, Bch, Nem, Ada, etc. Probably Paypal will conduct a survey to determine the customers cares and wishes about cryptocurrencies to adopt. Then they will think about it deeply to make it successful and wider the boundaries from traditional to crypto method.
-
PayPal will definitely accept only the most rated cryptocurrencies, since such actions will bring certain prospects in the future, but on the other hand, this will allow in the future to control most of the cryptocurrency users. I have very little trust in paypal.

I agree on USDT though this scenario can be more possible if PayPal will someday realize that it must have its own exchange as well, following the footsteps of Binance. For now, the executives of PayPal may not have it on mind but when they realize of the current demand and the expanding influence of cryptocurrency having its own exchange can be a big advantage. Let's see what can be.
-
It is unlikely that any DeFi token will be added, but Ethereum and XRP are quite possible that they will be added to PayPal as these are large projects that have hundreds of thousands of users. I think that PayPal needs to expand the list and make it possible to buy at least several dozen different cryptocurrencies, this will help the development of cryptocurrencies.
-
If PayPal adds altcoins, hope they will be real altcoins, and users will be able to deposit and withdraw them. But not alts that can only be bought, sold and traded only in limits of Paypal platform.
Would be really funny if they add Monero, as it is most anonymous and decentralized alt.

I think paypal embrace XRP because we know that Ripple is supported by many banks so that it will make transactions between countries easier
-
The coins initially supported will include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Litecoin (LTC), the company said. The payments giant partnered with Paxos to deliver the service, and it obtained a conditional cryptocurrency license from the New York State Department of Financial Services, commonly known as the BitLicense.
Article: PayPal to offer crypto payments starting in 2021 (https://cointelegraph.com/news/paypal-to-offer-crypto-payments-starting-in-2021)
I think PayPal will support stable coins like PAX. Ripple is also a good suggestion as it is accepted by many banks around the world.
-
As far as i know paypal has integrated only 4 or 5 coins in their system as of now which include bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, litecoin and bitcoin cash. Obviously they will add more in future according to demand and popularity.
-
Well definitely ethereum will be on the list and also the xrp so I guess these two altcoins are enough for me to use them as a money transfer on PayPal. About DeFi tokens I don't think if it can make it on paypal, well who knows in the future.

Paypal already accepted bitcoin, Ethereum, bitcoin cash and litecoin. In future paypal again accept more altcoins.
-
In my opinion, PayPal should first of all accept the most capitalized altcoins. Of course it should be Ethereum and Ripple. Everything is clear with Ethereum, but Ripple is a big problem and an interesting question. Despite its high capitalization, many platforms ignore it.

By sticking to basic of crypto currency; i think that PayPal will embrace joyfully the likes of bitcoin; litecoin, etherum and xrp for starters. Paypal embracing crypto currency means there will be a wide new range of adopters in the world; especially when it has been made easy by Paypal owner.
Paypal has over 286 million users at the moment who are eager and ready to embrace crytto currency. Its a good start.

Paypal is not a cryptocurrency wallet, I don't really have high expectations for altcoins to be listed there, although it is possible that altcoins are listed there,
if I have to guess, Ethereum, Bitcoincash and Litecoin are coins that deserve to be listed on Paypal, the reason is because the three coins have a lot of investors and also a large number of communities, so it will indirectly attract many people using paypal.
-
BCH seems to be a good choice, there are many options if paypal wants to add altcoins to the application they make. I think the way paypal will work in the future is almost the same as Payeer, there will be seen quickly how much value / price of Bitcoin we have in EURO and USD.
However If paypal in the future collaborates with exchanges like binance and AWC exchange, I think they will easily add wallets and instant exchanges within the paypal account dashboard.

Another good reason for these coins, is that apart from Ethereum (that's a blockchain platform), BCH and LTC are peer-to-peer currencies. Given paypal deals in a centralized form of "p2p transactions", it's likely they will stick to p2p currencies, rather than defi tools and more speculative assets.

Paypal has accepted bitcoin. Bitcoin is being adopted by a variety of large companies around the world. Bitcoin popularity is growing. Bitcoin is gaining more popularity these days when Paypal accepts Bitcoin. So I think Paypal will accept some other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. It will be possible in the future.
-
While we discuss which next altcolts will be on PayPal, PayPal still have problems with Bitcoin.
A guy deposited some funds and started trading Bitcoin. He made a volume of 10,000$ when his account got banned for suspicions actions. How can buying and selling their own Bitcoin could be suspicious? Now his account is blocked for half a year.

There is a wave of joy in the cryptocurrency community, that paypal has also announced to accept cryptocurrency. As is being speculated, Paypal can increase its stake in bitcoin, ethereum bitcoin cash etc.
-
PayPal has already approved Bitcoin. Hopefully PayPal will approve other coins, including Bitcoin, more strongly in the future. As a result, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are expected to improve further. In the future cryptocurrency will reach such a stage all over the world, night transactions will be much better for everyone.
-
I don't know when the last time I use PayPal for transactions and when I know about crypto I never using PayPal anymore, And I think many people also experience the same thing. I don't know exactly what is PayPal provides for the crypto user, but for me its nothing important about that
-
Bitcoin cash and Tron are the best choices for Paypal to expand their crypto business...
Many of the DeFi projects still use the ERC20 network, so transactions require an irregular gas fee. btw,Bitcoin in the lighting network is very cheap in fees and is sure to keep mass adoption ahead of us.
-
Actually, PayPal does not only accept Bitcoin in its platform to buy and sell. They also accept Ethereum, Litecoin, and also Bitcoin Cash. I am sure that some days, they will also add other cryptocurrencies. However, we must note that we can only buy and sell or hold, but not for withdrawing the cryptocurrencies to another wallet for now.

I think the clearer choice for PayPal is Ethereum.
Ethereum is number 2 on Coinmarketcap and is very easy to use and definitely has the full support of all cryptocurrency lovers.
Ripple can also be added but I prefer Ethereum because I like Ethereum always only for bounty and all acces in crytpocurency .
-
I believe PayPal was chosen those time ranking altcoins, like Ethereum XRP, Bitcoin Cash, Binance, and other top rankings Alternative cryptocurrencies.
-
For the first thing, I see the article about this. PayPal will take some coins like BTC, ETH, Litecoin, and also I am afraid I can. But it is still confusing because we cannot control our assets and also we cannot withdraw our assets. That is why this is still one of the issues in PayPal itself
-
Paypal has accepted Bitcoin. It's good news. I think users all over the world will enjoy a lot more benefits. I think some more coins will be added in the future.
-
Paypal is the most popular among freelancers. I think it will be used a lot more for freelancing. And Bitcoin will be best if Bitcoin is used.
-
It looks like PayPal will include coins that are mostly used by users such as Ethereum and Ripple because I know this is still in the early stages of starting a business with crypto. With the success of Bitcoin, I am sure some coins will be available on PayPal very soon
-
They should be the top altcoins, besides Bitcoin. In my opinion, those altcoins are probably Ethereum (ETH), USDT, and Ripple (XRP). These altcoins look very suit to use as the beginning of Paypal services in crypto. But for the next improvement, I think there should be other altcoins to use.
-
It has been clear that PayPal doesn't only accept BTC but also LTC, Ethereum, and Bitcoin Cash. You can find this information here Cryptocurrency on PayPal FAQ (https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/cryptocurrency-on-paypal-faq-faq4398?app=searchAutoComplete)
We can buy, sell, and also hold crypto in PayPal. But for now, we can't withdraw the cryptocurrency into other wallets.
-
Wow is amazing and you can imagine people will easily buy and own crypto in the future. PayPal users are numerous and the same is happening with crypto where this year crypto is positioned to be the best investment during a pandemic by being able to show positive things and growing prices.
-
I think there is a strong possibility of XRP being adopted by not just PayPal but several corporate organisations. There has been a lot of people actually predicting this and moves are already being made. However, I still strongly think BTC will be one cryptocurrency that will always find appeal and adoptions due to its status, acceptance and huge trade volumes and liquidity.
