While I'm reading some information about bitcoins, my eyes or attention is caught by this quotation "BITCOIN EMPOWERS PEOPLE, GIVE HIM OPTIMISM IN OCEAN OF DESTRUCTION". This quotation comes from Sean Ono Lennon the son of John Lennon. Can anyone in this forum help me understand what is the meaning of this particular quotation. Lennon proceeded to compare bitcoin to gold, presenting several reasons that the cryptocurrency is better than gold. Recently, many other investors have come to the same conclusion, including famed hedge fund managers Paul Tudor Jones, Bill Miller, and Stan Druckenmiller.
