Looking good for altcoins this week, searches are at their highest level in 12 months at 67 while projecting 100 8)

On a 5-year scale, searches are the highest since June 2019, but still very low registering 12. There's still plenty of room to go...

This is understandable why, because all this year, the cryptocurrency market has been growing and a lot of different top altcoins and new altcoins have grown in price, and because of the coronavirus, many people have invested in altcoins even more than before, and the hype around defi projects and the hype around Ethereum 2.0 also did good job, so everything is logical.

With rapid increase in BTC value comes along hype and it takes all things related to BTC - Altcoins included which are as natural as snow to winter .... We are seeing immense increases in value of all sort of assets pulled by BTC against which they are traded giving BTC its power and use case to be the gold of the Virtual World whith the Bear market all year long and news of another drop in value the talk talk dies and with the uptrend everyone gets excited again :-)

I think it started with a pandemic because they are required to stay at home so that a lot of free time is spent in front of a computer or cellphone. Whereas crypto is an investment field for the future as technology develops as the world is headed in that direction, I believe many people will gradually learn about blockchain and cryptocurrency.

looking great, it's nice to see those graph but the increase is not enough to regain what have been loss for the past years. early 2018, where price is peak many have hold because it suddenly decrease and until now it's not yet recovered. when I bought my cardano them price is at $.38 and until today it's not even half of it. Anyways, just hopeful still that the right time will come.

Many people might have felt the FOMO as evidenced by the big run experienced by Bitcoin and even with Ethereum. Such a big jump always create some stirs even in the mainstream media, and they can easily reach millions of people in viewership exposing cryptocurrency to so many people -- new and old. And I am sure that come 2021, there be more.

Wow just looked at Nano. It used to rank #20 during the peak of the last bull run. Now it ranks #76 its also interesting to see a green day on a weekend. Next week might be a moon

Base on my personal observation of why the interest in Altcoins is rising, I think its because the price of Bitcoin is too expensive now to acquire thats why many potential investors are looking into other potential option like the Top ranking Alternative Cryptocurrencies, (Altcoins) so I think with that particular reason, the trend was rising in some Altcoins.

Yes I appreciate you Lockdown is one of the big reason to know cryptocurrency by browsing Google . People want to try without any invest do something ,they join many Airdrop and bounty and when lockdown is inactive they are going to tread by invest for future asset . These are the reason for highest interest and popularity in cryptocurrency over this year .

For December 17th, it feels very sad because Altcoins really feels the sadness of being a Dump and is red.
Look at everything in the market because the market is currently flushed and this is the effect of Bitcoin reaching the price of 21,000 USD.
Then Bitcoin now broke over 21,111 USD and this made the altcoins drop in price.

If BTC remains stable in around 25k we may saw another ALTs rally very soon. BTC grow over its previous ATH but ETH's price is not even halfway from its previous ATH. So I also think that there is a very high chance of the next ALTs rally. Many things on BTC right now so we need to wait till then.

I also think so! BTC could reach up to $25k within this year. I hope alts will rally anytime soon. I got stack some of my alts because it decreases it's value loss some funds. I would rather see a alts coins rally rather than BTC because I don't have holdings of it.

Interest reached the projected 100% and is now projected for 24%, back down to recent lows. I don't really know fully what this means, but it sounds like it'll probably be a way to continue buying cheap altcoins. By comparison, Bitcoin interest has dropped to 65% after reaching 100%.

You are right, but right now everything is going down quite deeply too, to go up again seems quite heavy, it could be that this is the beginning for all crypto to drop to low price

Yes, but now, it is decreasing since the crash market price during May 2021. As we can see in the following grahic. Maybe many people are losing hope about the price in the market in which it is very dropped and they lose also interest to search for about altcoins anymore.

We take it as normal but actually it seems not. The trend shows up how the people are getting into crypto since the beginning of pandemic and at the present. Yes, the trend may decrease due to fud. But it will rise again because the people will look for another good alternative investment such as crypto bitcoin, Ethereum etc,.
