Title: Should we rearrange Crypto Meetups & Events?
Post by: MrSpasybo on November 29, 2020, 02:33:35 PM
I'm really confused with the section: Crypto Meetups & Events (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=131.0).
I can't find the information I need easily. Everything seems to be where they don't belong.

So I recommend the following changes:
For childboard:
1. Cryptos & Blockchain Webcasts (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=141.0): for videos about Meetups/Events = I think it's not necessary. We can completely merge them into the folders Cryptocurrency & Blockchain Events/Cryptocurrency & Blockchain Meetups;

2. Cryptocurrency & Blockchain Events (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=133.0): This place will post news, including videos about large & medium events. The title should be in the form: [Country - time] Name of the event.
Each event should have only 1 topic to announce or discuss.

3. Cryptocurrency & Blockchain Meetups (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=134.0): This place will post news, including videos about meetups. The title should be in the form: [Country - time] Name of the meetup.
Each meetup should have only 1 topic to announce or discuss.

At the main Crypto Meetups & Events (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=131.0): I think these are discussions around event  meetups. For example: What do you think about the crypto seminar in France? Why is this event important to the entire crypto world?

This section is aweful to say the least, something should definitely happen about it you're right. It's as if no-ones moderating it at all  ::)

None of the sub-sections appear to be useful or used, while the main section appears to just be full of spam :-\

My counter-proposal would be "away with it" and simply rename the "Crypto Meetups & Events" section to "Crypto Meetups, Events & Webcasts" with a mega merge of all sub-section topics into it. Move "On Youtube" sub-section there for good measure, as they ain't sponsoring us either.

Then ask someone like hair or you very nicely to clean out all the spam  :P

PS - I tried to give "Cryptos & Blockchain Webcasts" some utility a long time ago by posting 90%+ of the content there, clearly I failed!
