Quote
He harkens back thousands of years to the archetypal shi (pronounced "sure") strategy of Chinese philosophers and military advisors, where the indirect trumps the direct, future advantage trumps the immediate victory, and time takes on a whole new dimension
what Spitznagel calls depth of field: not "long term versus short term," but rather an even more challenging appreciation for the intertemporal future.

Definitely this book is helpful to learn the important fundamental strategy to become effective investor and trader. Not pro here but want to say, Read and Learn 'cos your improvement matters within.

To be honest all such books seem the same to me, the same thoughts, just written in different words, but in general this was not a reason for me to be very excited

I ordered it once. But because of the lack of time, she was lying around somewhere at home. I never got around to reading it. But thanks to your topic, I remembered about it. And I will try to open it in the next few days.

Honestly, I don't think that this book can be useful. The only thing that can help you is experience, imo

@bornno from anywhere we can learn strategies, how to buy and sell and ways of doing things. Books for me are always a complement both to learn more and for the simple pleasure of reading something that is not on a computer or smartphone. Remember that knowledge is power  ;)
