Another 2021 question for you, the classic one. Which coin will do better in 2021, the largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin or the largest altcoin Ethereum?
- Currently Bitcoin sits at $19K, around 5% down from all time high. Ethereum is 60% down from all time high at around $600.
- Furthermore ETH is still down 80% from it's all time high against Bitcoin in not January 2017, but June 2017.
- Bitcoin is being adopted by paypal and now visa have changed their tune, while Ethereum is launching 2.0 sidechain.
Personally for 2021, I'm thinking Ethereum and will continue to accumulate for this reason. For 2020 I thought Bitcoin would do better until 2021 came around, but in fact ETH outperformed BTC by 75% at present, so looks like I was wrong about that.

In 2011 BTC price was 31$ and in 2013 it makes a new ATH and hit the price 1153$ which was 37X from its previous one. But in 2017 it hit 20078$ which was 17X from its previous ATH. So If this time BTC make another ATH like before and if its even 8X then I think its bull run just started. So if BTC bull run continued then ALTs will bleed. So I think the safer side is BTC or stable coin.

i prefer bitcoin.
because for me bitcoin is more stable than other coin. although sometimes bitcoin has a very deep price decline but one day it will definitely go up again in price. 2018 bitcoin has experienced a decline in price to $ 3500 and in November 2020 bitcoin rose to $ 20,000
and until now I still hold my bitcoin waiting until bitcoin is over $ 21,000 - $ 25,000

Both will do just as well.
PayPal adopt bitcoin which I think will boom in 2021 after adjustment. Not including the possibility to reach another ATH.
Eth 2.0 the innovative move of Bitalik will fully feel in 2021 for we are near to say goodbye 2020 and welcome 2021. What is it all about? Aimed at enabling the network to process more transactions and increase the security.

I think ethereum will probably have a better performance in 2021. Especially after the release of ethereum 2.0. This will definitely be the trigger for Ethereum to be very good in 2021.

I think BTC will perform then ETH in 2021; I know ETH 2.0 is launched, and other more new about ETH, but the other side is negative about gas fees; the crypto was made for fewer fees, but ETH is charging high gas fees and users worry about gas fees everyone holds $30 to $50 on ETH wallet just for gas fees. Sometimes users pay $30 gas fees just for a claim or send tokens. So BTC demand is increasing as you know, most of the companies buying BTC, and one bank of Chain has issued $3 Billion worth of bonds against BTC, so in 2021 BTC will more perform then ETH, and BTC transaction cost is not increased that is almost the same by exchanges and blockchain.

We can compare even the two. Well, BTC is the king of crypto. ETH is the king of the altcoins, moreover the ERC20 tokens. Here, the two will be just doing and progressing very well like now. We can see from the chart that the ETH graphic shows a well increase likely BTC. SO, it is better to hold your BTC and EH then. BTW. the fourth option is funny. I can't imagine if they are failed, others will be worse ;D ;D

I believe that BTC and also EThereum are good for investment and also trading or scalping. So, I don't need to worry about the two. I only worry how the whales will maybe play us around by pumping and dumping the coins so easily that makes us panic to buy or sell immediately

To be honest, I have more hopes for Bitcoin for 2021, I think the end of 2020 is the opening path for Bitcoin to the top. Whereas Ethereum with ETH 2.0 I think in 2021 it will be very busy with the developments that will be carried out, so the price will be stable until the end of 2021.

This might be hard right now to provide the answer since ETH 2.0 is very interesting. I think we can have the answer after seeing the condition given by this new eth.

Choosing the two can be like choosing which between two good and beautiful girlfriends should be the ONE. I am a big fan of both Bitcoin and Ethereum so I would say that both can be doing well and that is many of us here have both BTC and Eth. Ethereum is to do its much-waited and longed-for Ethereum 2.0 metamorphosis and although it will never answer all concerns it can be a big leap forward to the number 2 coin. Bitcoin is projected to have its biggest bull run yet in 2021 due to many institutions officially coming into it.
So which will it really be? Only time can tell and unfortunately Mr. Time has no number that I can call to.

I believe that even as bitcoin is rising it is normal that other coins following will also do better coming years we all know that there's was a time Eth price was a $1000 dollar if am not making a mistake am also looking forward to see Eth to rise above its current price now in the year 2021 no matter how the market will be vlotile eth has struggled enough to cross $1000 after the fall in price value.

I love them both, yeah. couple market leader with own features and big communities. but if I must choose one of them, I'll choose Ethereum. with 100k transactions per second with ETH 2.0 I think its Ethereum benefits for more projects adopt Ethereum blockchain technology. but this is my own opinion, there is no one who knows the future

2016 and 17 were a boon for the cryptocurrency market. But I think 2018 and 2019 are a curse for the cryptocurrency market. Personally I think both bitcoin and Ethereum will do exceedingly well by next year, I would have picked just bitcoin but I just remembered eth normally pumps when bitcoin pumps, so no doubt it's gonna be a great year,and besides the ETH 2.0 will be fully launched any time soon, so that will definitely push the price of Eth :o, everyone should buckle up for a great year ahead 8).

I think 2021 is the time for Ethereum. Especially after the arrival of ethereum 2.0. So of course, it will add more positive value to ethereum, while Bitcoin has experienced a big increase this year. The possibility that next year will not be that great.

2020 is really a terrible year for crypto market . Bitcoin as well Etherium touch a poor value in 2nd quarter of this year but this is really good that both coin perform outstanding in 4 quarter .
I think both coin but I really believe that bitcoin touch all time high again in 2021 .

The third option is the most possible thing that will happen. I can't say one of them will be failed because both are good coins, I min top coins. BTC is the king of cryptocurency. While Ethereum, is the king of altcoins. So, It will not be failed. If both are failed, I am pretty sure that other altcoins also will be dead prviously.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are two top coins. I can say about the both Bitcoin and Ethereum as "no saying coins". Both have chance to break the past ATH record in the next year. There are a lot of positive news in the recent past including Paypal acceptance of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Popularity and limited supply will push Bitcoin to bullish trend again. I personally believe Bitcoin will break its ATH which can be 1.5x to 2x higher from this point. Ethereum 2.0 already launched and its completion needs another few months or year. This progress will put positive impact on Ethereum price. So Ethereum can also break its past ATH record $1,432.88 USD in Jan 13, 2018 in the next year.

I think these two coins, both ethereum and bitcoin, will show some good progress in 2021. And I think both of them will have the potential to play trading together. And I believe the prices of both will also increase in 2021.

Yes, i think both will be better in year 2021 because all good news now going with BTC and ETH like US central bank and Swiss bank making custody of BTC and 2ndly Paypal accepting BTC also. On the other hand ETH launching 2.0 which will be more faster than ETH 1.0 and low fees also. So next year who want to invest in low prices ETH will be best which will jump highly in year 2021.

If i look through at 2017 that time ether price was $1500 and then it become down trend and now the price is approximate $600. So it is possible for Ethereum to increase more because the price is so less at the moment. It is less risky then bitcoin. So i believe that 2021 will be for Ethereum.

In my opinion bitcoin is almost hit all time high I don't know if it can increase further because currently the price of bitcoin is $19,000 and the all time high was $20,000. The ethereum price is now $600 and the all time high was $1300 so if I going to invest right now I better to invest ethereum and hold until will hit the all time high again, maybe in the next year will happen.

Both coin are performing really well in last quarter of 2020 . But atili prefer to hold bitcoin because still their is higher chance that bitcoin touch all time high again. Both coins are best if we used these coins are long-term investment .

As bitcoin has already reached around an all-time high and Ethereum still has a long way to go to get ATH, so I believe It has got an excellent chance to do well in 2021. Also, with the launch of Ethereum 2.0 and the boom of Defi projects, Ethereum has been getting a lot of attention recently.

Both currencies are great for investment but it is very difficult to predict the exact future of how much one will pump. Bitcoin is always in a high position in the crypto market. That's why I think Bitcoin will perform better in 2021. Bitcoin's and investors are holding on to double investments ahead of further price increases.

Ethereum coin has very good opportunities for price growth. I would like to believe that this coin will have a price of $ 25,000 by 2025. but the poll is the intention expressed by someone to give what he thinks to say, but sometimes can not guarantee that will be the best and most correct. because it does not reflect the number of other participants who have not expressed or do not want to give their opinion which might change the situation.
In fact, I still believe that the position so far has continued and it is difficult to change quickly, so Bitcoin and Ethereum will be in the same position. It will take fantastic things if ethereum can shift bitcoin and I don't believe that ethereum 2.0 will be able to give ethereum a good boost. because it could be that the new system just wants to provide convenience but there is nothing renewable that will make Ethereum increase.
