Generally, when a new coin is launched, they make an announcement about it in crypto related forums with the title like "[ANN] New Coin Here!"

The above answer was right. Some times you will encounter ANN THREAD that means the announcement thread of the campaign before it is officially a bounty thread. In ANN thread you can find the team members, roadmap if possible and the products to promote in the market.

ANN in this forum does not mean name of a person but it is all about the shortcut of announcement. ANN is advisable to use cause it is more appropriate to read faster just ann.

The meaning of ANN in a bounty campaign is Announcement because For example, when the bounty campaign is near after the manager gives a statement or announcement when the exactly finish.

It is just the short form of announcement. It is basically the tread where all announcements about an ICO is given

Promotions in any campaigns will be announce on the forum just to inform everybody about the hottest hits on the forum. Just always check the update of any announcement for more update on the forum so that everyone will be guided by the team.

Honestly I participated many times in bounty campaign and reading ANN many times but still i don't know yet what ANN means and thanks to this thread for the help of enlighten my mind.

The purpose of Ann is an anouncement. Usually ann contains an announcement about a new coin, platform or other project. The point is to invite investors or bounties to join in.
