Title: Biggest Regrets in Cryptocurrency Investing
Post by: TomPluz on December 09, 2020, 04:25:14 AM
The world of cryptocurrency has been evolving through the years. Starting with Bitcoin, we now have many other popular platforms offering their own and unique services to people who are enthusiasts and believers that we are into a new revolution that can be transforming we are doing business and looking as ell as using money which in addition can be transforming we do things in finance and banking.

Right now, we have Ethereum and the list goes on. these digital assets started just minuscule in terms of price. But one of the greatest regrets is when you realized you somehow meet the asset before and yet you doubted it and never took some action.

Once upon a time I came around Ethereum and it was just $10...and that was one of my biggest regrets because I just let it passed.

Then one by one some new currency market jokes started happening. All in all, the cryptocurrency market has gained a lot of popularity. I think the change of era will make cryptocurrencies better

I also had a lot of moments when I could buy various cryptocurrencies at low prices and then these cryptocurrencies grew very quickly in price and on this I could get a big profit, but unfortunately it is not always possible to guess right moment to invest in cryptocurrencies, so I am sure that I will also have good moments for investing in cryptocurrencies in future.

Maybe in the past many people have missed something big that they regret. But I'm sure they'll also get up and start over and won't repeat the same mistakes. Just like me, who just learned about Bitcoin about two years ago. Maybe it's too late, but I keep trying to be able to find as much information as possible about Bitcoin and crypto. I have missed a lot. But I have no regrets, and I believe I will be able to succeed with crypto.

I have been investing in the cryptocurrency market for a long time. But I have no regrets. Because I have never invested like that. I have lost that investment. I have no regrets. I benefit by investing and earning. The market can be bad a lot of the time, but I never regret it.

We really never predict the movement of cryptocurrency. My biggest regret in crypto that I didn't sell all my tokens when it was on high peak and it was bullish that time and I'm so greedy. It is my first time to see the bullish market of cryptos, all bounties that I joined were profitable the price of the tokens were really pumped up. I didn't sell all yet until one day the market suddenly crashing I though it will bounce back but no still crashing down and down so I'm losing it until I sold all my tokens at lowest price lol. I'm so greedy that time.

Make it an experience because digital assets are very popular and make their prices grow rapidly. There are still opportunities in other coins that are cheap and possibly potentially in the future

I also have problems because of my greed.  I hope if the bull market starts now, I can overcome my greed and sell all the cryptocurrency that will rise in price.

We have all noticed that at one time the cryptocurrency market was made up of a few tokens.  But gradually this cryptocurrency market has achieved a lot.  We saw Bitcoin Etherium BNB all these coins came in the market.  Then the price was much lower now but the price is much higher. These coins are used by everyone and all these coins are very popular all over the world.

The world has always had famous successes and it easily makes us regret when we missed the opportunity when it appeared. What happens to stock investment is also true when it comes to crypto :)
The crypto market is still in a period of high volatility, so token prices change day by day. This person regretted not buying token A when the price was low, the other regretted not being able to sell token B when the price was high ^^
I used to regret a lot of things but now I feel good to be able to sit here to read everyone's comments.

The cryptocurrency market has been changing year after year. The market journey first began with Bitcoin. Later came a new era in the world of cryptocurrency. The level of new arrivals is increasing day by day. The number of investors worldwide is increasing. Services are on the rise. So I think Bitcoin is considered the best choice for investment. Anyone who invests will benefit. However, investing in ethereum is very profitable.

I am sure that everyone in crypto has experienced the frustrations and mistakes they made. However, many of them then gave up and many also got back up. The key to success in crypto is persistence and persistence. So don't give up easily even though you have experienced bitter things in crypto.

My biggest regret will be not to make a single trade in uniswap. Some of my friends get UNI airdrop and sell them at the price of around 7$. If I would know something like this could happen in the future I would create at least 1000 ETH addresses and make a single trade in uniswap. That would be a life-changing opportunity.

A person has many failures and gains a lot from investing in crypto.
When I have a coin at a low price, I think I will sell it when the price goes down, panic will always occur but the choice of investing in crypto will always be risky, the price will go down or go up due to the amount of market demand.
Now I want to buy more Waves and BNT coins, when a good project has a coin at a low price, I will look at the supply of coins they have and will hold it for a long time.

Exactly mate, because I'm one of those who was panicked during the DAO hacking incident especially when you read the report of 3Million+ Ether was already transferred out and it may dump into the market? But that's only base on my personal assumption, BTW, DAO hacking incident has triggered many huge sell-off during that time, and the price of Ether was also down I remember it was $15 and then $11 and because of that I just sell all my Ethers at $11 dollars. which I think the profit will be covered my cloud mining investment loss when the HashOcean cloud mining operator was gone with the estimated value of $55Million worth of Bitcoin in their pocket.

You need to be most careful when investing in cryptocurrencies.  If you are not very careful then by buying that token you can fall into a lot of losses.  So you need to be most careful when buying any token.  So I would say that when buying a token, do the most research and buy a token.

In fact we have to move forward with learning from mistakes if you regret it you will lose there are many risks involved in investing in crypto but do not be discouraged if you have little knowledge about crypto market you need to analyze the market well before investing. Even if you lose everything for the token you have to choose the right time again but i think investing in currency is more profitable than tokens.

Do you mean to say that investing in coins(that's crypto currencies with their own blockchain) is more profitable than investing in tokens(that's crypto currencies that run on other blockchains)?
Well, if this is what you meant, then I disagree with you mate, if you ask me, I will tell you it's just about the same thing, the most important think here is you being lucky enough to find and invest in the right one,, what ever amount you've made investing in coins can still be made investing in tokens, it all boils down to you finding the right one/project

I believe most of us have the regret of not investing in this market when we came to know about this. I was told to buy BTC when it was just 285$ per coin. I ignored my friend's advice and did not buy but after some time he again pushes me when BTC reaches 800$ price So I bought some amount of  BTC but I sold it in haste when it was 3400$ because the market was very volatile and I was not used to it. I still regret that I sold it in haste even I can make a good profit if I hold it.

The doubts that exist for us to make decisions sometimes will cause regret in the future, but in fact it does not need to happen. What you need to remember is that here to get a big profit you need a strong intention and are ready to take any risks. If we see an opportunity to benefit, then we must immediately take that decision and don't delay it any longer.

Maybe because of that incident you can learn from previous mistakes. And because of your mistake, you find that crypto is very volatile.
I have experienced the same thing as you. When my Bitcoin price was $ 200 I had 2BTC I just sold it. If I hold it until 2017 I might make $ 38,000 in profit
But we cannot blame ourselves

I was very upset to hear your words, why your tokens have been lost.  It is very sad if it is a victim of hacking or fraud. Of course, before joining different campaigns, make sure that you never give them your personal key or any password.  Of course, refrain from giving these because you must think twice when giving Tarabada.

That's too bad, bro. How can you invest in unknown altcoins? Did it happen when you were a beginner? You must take the lesson from the bad history, then you never do it again in the future. I think you don't need to regret it because it only hurts you. It is better to focus on your current assets, so you can take the maximum profits.

You need to be most careful when investing in cryptocurrencies.  If you are not very careful then by buying that token you can fall into a lot of losses.  So you need to be most careful when buying any token.  So I would say that when buying a token, do the most research and buy a token.

In short invest at your own risk and what you can afford to lose once the best didn't happen. To search is a must because it is the first step to do when finding the good token. Good token is for long term, bad coins is for short and if possible do not invest to it.

My biggest regret will be UNI, 1nch, and INJ. I got a chance to invest in those projects but didn't. That two DEX airdropped over 2k$ just to trade in their DEX which is insane. If I could go back on time I would make sure I never miss those airdrop. Also YFI was also a shock but I have found that too late.

So far so good the crypto sphere has evolved greatly now there are more than 2000+, I believe it's not just you having this same regret of not investing in it while the price was still low, I also regret not investing in Ethereum from the start or not investing in bitcoin when the price was about $600 during the year I came into the crypto space, I guess I have to leave with that regret for the rest of my life.

But they are dropped and like to die, cannot raise up again even after several months especially fr OGN. This project is like dying

Is holding or investing in XRP the biggest regret in cryptocurrency?
I don't think that it will really work well. But if the XRP really falls, it can be the biggest regret why I bought it when heading to the spark flare XRP airdrop a few moments ago.
In any kind of coin where investors chose to invest should understand that there is no place of regret. The volatile market of crypto currency is too obvious which is too clear for us that it could lead us to lose or gain.

My regret is when I cannot hold my crypto coins for a long time. Or I sell it because of panic, so I just get little profits. While many people can get maximum profits because they brave to hold the coins. I think I need to be more patient to hold my crypto coins.

That is why, there are investment experts who say, the decision to invest must be made today before regretting it another day.
But there are several factors that we must study such as the risk of investing in making a good decision, so that we understand how timely we are targeting to invest in crypto.

10 USD for Ethereum at that time and now Ethereum is priced around 1000 USD more and it sure is going to hurt.
But don't be sorry, maybe the OP will also find something new again from existing cryptocurrencies, maybe it can be seen from the DIA, Ferrrum or TRON coins.

If I am in that position, I will feel pain because I have experienced the same thing.

Maybe you did the right thing on that day when you decided to sell your tokens. I guess you was at prevention mode of what if the tokens dump tragically and the project will die. Better to sell the token than hold and gain nothing. I think we should not blame ourselves from our past conduct

Once upon a time I came around Ethereum and it was just $10...and that was one of my biggest regrets because I just let it passed.
You can invest now, before the ethereum price really hits the new ATH like Bitcoin, there are a lot of selected coins we can buy for investment, one of them is the BNB coin, although only a few projects have contracted at BSC, at least we have seen an increase in performance. team to facilitate transactions, development and investment of new projects with lower transaction costs

If you regret that it is too late, an investment in cryptocurrency can be done at any time and it is clear that anything can happen because high trading interest can change the price of ethereum up to $ 1200 investing when the price has dropped that's the most appropriate thing because profits can be thousands of dollars if people are patient to sell them.

Right. Don't worry about what has already happened. The past cannot be changed, but the present can be controlled here and now. Draw conclusions and move on. I had no investment losses because I don’t invest in new coins. I have my own rule of not taking risks where possible. And investing in new and unknown coins is a big risk.

We couldn't control the flow of market. Basically, somehow we may fool and somehow we may hit the best part price ever from our bounty rewards. It is disappointing part to see the price increase even more, but  we cannot bring back the past mistakes. I think we can't do nothing than to moveon. If you remain in the past you cannot do good executions in the present. Past failures will help to make the present wonderful.

I got into crypto back in 2017 and though missed some serious profits i would have collected and had some regrets there but now I understand their should be no need for regrets but rather to have the will or faith to hodl your position when things move downwards. If any one bought ETh or BTH at ATH back in 2017 and was able to hodl ti now, I believe there would be no regrets there so to me it is the will or ability to HODL cos you believe in what you invested in.

If I had 1000 USD and bought Ethereum for 10 USD I would have gained immense wealth now and my wallet was full of money.

33000 AME tokens, don't tell me you've sold out all of them for $0.014 per token. That price is lower than the IEO price $0.02. So you sold 33000 AME for just 462 USD?

Every one ever have mistake when investing. I agree from the mistake we will learn alot . But don't loss alot mate, we must be careful and learn the coin, team, chart and character of the coin if you want to invest

Yeah, such forms of regrets do come even as an old time enthusiasts of crypto, not to say as for a newbie, its is definite. Looking at the time bitcoin came low $10k in the deeps of 2017, if I had buy just a little as at then, I will be jumping and dancing now. That is my regret, but on the other hand, when it was lower than a $1,000, when almost everyone we're newbie to the system, and when there was no value in its price, buying to store at that time will be something else as at now. These are all regrets of old, what about now, cause the later future is having something good for everyone to share from.

You are right. No one is perfect in trading/investing, all traders/investors must have ever made mistakes. Mistakes aren't something too bad thing if we can take a lesson from them. That even can make us be a better trade/investor in crypto, also we are trying to decide more wisely. So, don't regret it so much, just take some lessons from the mistakes.  ;)

Once upon a time I came around Ethereum and it was just $10...and that was one of my biggest regrets because I just let it passed.
When did you see the Ethereum price around $10? It should be very a long time ago, it was a very cheap price. If you bought many Ethereum at that price, you must be a billionaire, right now. But you mustn't regret it because it is impossible to come back again at that moment. Just focus on what we can do, now.

My late entry into investing in Bitcoin as earlier as possible was my greatest regret although the opportunities of making it cryptocurrencies is still very much on ground but requires a lot of DYOR before investment due the ability of cryptocurrencies of pumping to 5X e.g early  AMEPAY token investors and hodlers are in profits now due to remarkable progress of the token in the market.

There is no need for regrets and will still always be open to being able to invest in bitcoin, find a time when it goes down and buy it. because the movement of the increase in bitcoin is expected until the end of the year, judging from the halving. so there will always be an opportunity, it could also be a potential altoin purchase and can make a profit just move it to ethereum and finally to bitcoin.

Never thought that the price of Bitcoin could be as high as it is today, if only I had known from the start I would have invested some of my assets to buy Bitcoin.  And if I have done that, now I have got a very extraordinary advantage. Regret comes at the end, not at the beginning of the event, but make it all a rewarding experience. The next time the Bitcoin price drops dramatically, I want to buy large quantities.

Too hurry to decide to sell my coins, it is the biggest regret in investing. There are some coins that I sold too hurry, I sold them at cheap prices. If I am holding the coins longer, I can get the profits much bigger because the prices increase very significantly. But I just try to forget it.

I guess this most have been some long time ago because if you have even bought then you definitely most have sold those off by now considering the rate the ethereum price have increased since then but all those are lessons we most learn in the course on our cryptocurrency adventure.

Best to move on from regrets. Regarding investment failing to get in on one price, or being too late, it isn't the last opportunity

Invest and trade in other currencies, including Bitcoin. Currently the economies of different countries are dependent on the cryptocurrency market. Much of the economy, especially in developed countries, depends on the cryptocurrency market. The cryptocurrency market is constantly changing. The cryptocurrency market is constantly investing in committed cryptocurrencies. So invest in a coin that has good authority

The biggest disappointment was when I invested my money in a Coombs coin. I expected a lot of growth and an equally big profit. But my investment didn't pay off.

Never regret what happened to cryptocurrency because basically cryptocurrency is also full of regrets.
We buy the coin price below and sell it outright but a few hours later it goes up, we regret it.
We buy coins at high prices and don't sell them and dump them, so we're sorry.

that's cryptocurrency and maybe it's better we don't need to regret it and enjoy it, friends!

After the top cryptocurrency grew very much in price this year and almost all the media began to pay attention to this, many, of course, began
regret that they did not invest in it before, when it was estimated at hundreds and thousands of times cheaper. In my opinion, this is the biggest general regret for cryptocurrency right now. At the same time, no one knows what will happen to the cryptocurrency next, that is, how risky and safe it may be in the future. It looks like this will be an ongoing problem. It is easy to give an assessment only by looking back at the past.

My biggest disappointment is that I regret that I came to the crypto so late. I see that I missed a lot and now I'm trying to make up for it, but I don't always manage to do it, but I'm trying.

The Crypto market that goes up and down makes a lot of people panic and have to do something so as not to experience losses. Crypto investing is not an easy thing because we must be able to analyze the market well so that our assets are safe. therefore it is important for us to continue to learn so that we can manage assets properly and the results are profitable.

My biggest dissatisfaction and disappointment is I missed the big opportunity to earn big in the right thing like investment in the right token and sooner pump 250%. I am still in the process to accept the reality that I need to move on and forget the missed chance. Lesson learned accept the fact and move on, and make it better next time.

I believe that when the market continuously has tokens growing up to 50% -100% per day, regret will increase and affect all holders + traders. However, the opportunity will come with all of good tokens and great community. We cannot predict where the money will flow tomorrow, so be sure to hold our token if you trust it. Regret will lead to wrong decisions, you will regret more if you sell a token today and tomorrow token increases in price.

That's one of problems that people have, if time machine exist i would buy a lot of bitcoin and ethereum while they were cheap. One thing that can be learned is, holding is the key to getting bigger results. People tend to be impatient, I think from now to buy some potentiall coins in small amounts and keep them in your personal wallet.

My main regret is that when I bought Ether in 2017 for $11-19, I spent it buying a lot of shitty altcoins during ICO, instead of holding it until today.

I often regret it over and over again that when invest and trading, maybe I was too greedy to get big profits. It was profitable but I didn't take the profit, so the price went down and I didn't get the profit.  Again waiting for the same situation so that I immediately took profit, but in fact the price did not increase.  Regret it happens to me often.

It's a pity that we all owned a lot of ETH in the past but lost our chances to bad ICOs. Currently 1 ETH ~ 4K USD, this still haunts me, when I used to have 10 ETH but used it wastefully in 2017.
