Title: Is really market going down?

I listened new from my community members that market is going down from now to 25 December bcoz most of the people sell crypto for Christmas.is it really matters?

This is status of the crypto market at the moment: 10/10 in the top 10 CMC are all falling.
However the reason is not because the majority of people are selling crypto to get fiat to buy gifts for Christmas or New Year, this is just a rumor like news about Chinese people selling crypto for money for Lunar new year makes crypto market go down :)

I think this is a necessary correction for the market to stabilize before continuing to increase prices. Motivation from BTC Halving & ETH2.0 is still intact, investors are still very excited about DeFi at the moment.

The same fear from year to year that makes it a habit. Could it be that this year the effect of the decline in prices due to Christmas and New Year would not be there? I'm sure people will be happy if that happens and it's calmer to buy more crypto

As we remember, in 2017 the bitcoin price grew until December 17 and then did not fall significantly for a long time.  There are also similar examples in other years.  In addition, it is still too early to prepare for the holidays of Christmas and New Year.  I am also surprised by the re-correction of prices over the past month.  However, the behavior of cryptocurrency is unpredictable.  There is still time and the situation with prices may still change for the better.  Let's hope that in the coming days, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will again grow well in value.

It's part of the factor why people will sell but that's not why market is dumping.
It's not really dumping but it's going correction which is healthier and normal when market rally or bull run. Had it been bitcoin crash to $15k, that's when I would be convince that the market actually dump.
It's opportunity to bag some altcoins as the year runs out, we will see new developments by 2021.

See the attached document and feeling painful . All the coin's price going down . We can not do anything to stop decline stage .But we can be patient for better time . I am optimistic that good time will come soon .

Recently, there was also a small correction of the cryptocurrency market and then there was pump again and now it looks like it will be the same, so I don't think that a big correction of the cryptocurrency market is expected this year, so I still think that in a couple of days the growth  of cryptocurrency market will start again and the prices of cryptocurrencies will return to the same marks that were before the last correction.

There are times that is unstable, there are also times  fluctuating times in the world of crypto. But it is also going up.  Meaning when crypto is rising there are lots of bounties etc.

The market is not going down, the market is experiencing a price correction; it happens every time in the market whenever we experience a bull run or price hike. Bitcoin still gets affected by fundamentals such as bad news, and it will continue to be so until some time.

And so, all price targets and analysis fall within the realm of conjectures and can change with a single large trade.We are enter a new crazy trend and it’s likely to be very volatile and I believe potentially very bearish, but in the new reality of broken and fixed markets almost anything is possible.We may just get another chance to buy bitcoin below $10,000.  :D :)

Maybe slowly the market will experience a temporary decline while waiting for Christmas. This is because many people sell their coins for Christmas preparation. However, let's see I believe that after Christmas the price of coins will skyrocket and that is a good time for altcoins season and selling coins.

Christmas will happen a few days later. However, there are doubts about whether the price of Bitcoin or other currencies will increase. I don't think Bitcoin or any other currency will rise in price right now. However, there is a possibility of increase in the future.

The market has been up for days now it is very likely to see the correction happening although I wasn't expecting it since the end of year is around the corner and this is the period where the bull usually takes over (although it doesn't seem like such will happen this time) but right the market is in a dip and I wonder how low will it go.

Look at the top level coins market cap most of the are in red mark . The investors are take out their invest in market cap Consequently my opinion it is not natural to market going down .There are others reason attached for this situation . For example - In December Christmas comes and people spend money this persus .so many people's investment are not included at this December . Altimately lack of invest hit the crypto market cap .

I do not think that this reason holds any weight because most people who are in crypto are in for longterm and have other sources of income so they do not need to take money out of crypto for holidays. Even if we apply this argument on small investors even then their selling should not make much difference in highly liquid crypto market now.

Yes, it is real. Just look at CoinGecko or Coinmarketcap, the prices of all crypto coins or tokens are decreasing now. Not sure what the causes, but the current drop is rather big. However, I am sure that it is just a temporary decline, we will see the market to come back again very soon. We all believe that in 2021 crypto will have a better performance, even may experts stated that Bullrun will happen in the next year, 2021. So, just be patient for now!

In fact yes. The market is still falling down as a dump market. However, we don't know whether it will be continuing or others. If BTC has a certain breakout at a certain rate, it may be rising up. But if they can reach certain resistance and breakout, they will continue falling down.

Yeh it's probably going to continue going down until new years at least imo. There could be an xmas rally, or a sell  of, but it seems after the enormous rise from $10K to nearly $20K, some consolidation or correction is required. It could be a deep correction, or long-term consolidation, be prepared.

For what happened in 2017 December is not the same now, it may have a similarity but in terms of the movement they differ
from one another. Besides, this is trading where there is no fixed amount of price due to its volatility and this is the reason why the market was so unpredictable. I know there's a lot of good things to be happening by next year for sure.

The market is on the correction, this is firstly, secondly, many, if not all altcoins follow the trend of bitcoin and its trend where to go. Also, most of the holders and miners of bitcoin took profits and sold something for the holidays, which would be good to celebrate. So I think no significant changes are expected for the upward movement of the market at least until January.

During Christmas or Newyear trading volume reduce as most of the traders celebrating fest with their families and away from trading that can be the reason for the downfall of the market. Most big traders are from the European countries and their people enjoy Christmas to the fullest this fest. I won't say they sell their cryptos. Actually, they don't trade while enjoying their festivals.

My answer was "maybe" because everything is possible in my opinion.

The market can move down or up with the same probability because there are some whales manipulating the price and for them swings are profits.

They sell wen the price is high and then buy when lowered significantly, so yes, market can go down but if people start again to buy like crazy then there is nothing which can stop BTC price from rising, we need buyers it's so simple, if there will be more sellers price will dump.

I have voted for not sure .I actually don't eye on that people will sell their valuable coin to enjoy the Christmas .They could sell a few amount to celebrate that time but will not sell all the amount as he better know how valuable his asset is .So that i wanna say the dumping movement is minor and market is already started to recover .

Maybe many are selling their bitcoins for others to enjoy the christmas festivities but even if not later this year the new year will be much better for bitcoin there must be a pump dump for bitcoin investing. Even if it sells the demand for it continues to rise which is why bitcoin is rising higher.

Christmas people don't know if it's true or false to sell their cryptocurrency, but we hear about it every year in December. Coincidentally, its impact on the market is more or less observed. I am not really sure about many people to sell their crypto assets during Cristmast, it is just a speculation. It may be just a FUDs spreading by bad boys to make people sell their crypto assets at cheap prices. I think we need to be patient and see the progress in crypto market first before thinking to sell.

Are you sure? It may be just an issue, bro? Who knows if people really sell their crypto assets for Christmas? As long as there is no data that can prove the issue, we cannot claim the decrease in price because people sell their crypto assets for Christmas. I prefer to think that it is only a correction after some increases yesterday.

It is unlikely that such a statement can be considered valid every year.  This year, the coronavirus pandemic is heavily affecting financial spending during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.  Many no longer have stocks for holiday shopping.  Also, the amount of money spent is influenced by the established traditions in each country, and the standard of living of people in them.  I do not think that the upcoming holidays will have a big impact on lowering prices in the cryptocurrency market.  Most likely, during this period, business activity may fade.
