Every day, i receive this type of email and also forum PM. I just ignore in mail or giving -karma in forum. Such users can promote their business in the proper section but they are doing spamming which is disgusting to us.

Thanks for report. This user posted just "bump' word in many local forums and has already received 3 strikes by our Mods as a punishment.
-
Many of us know about forum spammer Doovla but now he started spamming with forum messages with offers of selling some crap tokens.
I am considering this to be spam and scam attempt and I am asking for Doobla to be temporary banned from forum by admin.
He already has one strike and he was warned before to stop with his spam, but he ignores that.
This is the message I received by him:
This is the same guy who ''wrote'' 68 posts in one day...
-
Just yesterday I was monitoring that user's posts to see if their behavior had improved...
Doovla has another strike and also another warning. If there are other affected users who have received unsolicited PMs, please post in this thread. Doovla can put its tokens up for sale in the corresponding board without bothering any users by sending PMs.
I hope @Doovla reads this thread and stops behaving this way, otherwise I will block the user's account indefinitely.
-
gave him a more appropriate penalty for this behavior: no pm allowed
profile : https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;area=summary;u=36763
PS: sorry president i removed the 2nd strike replaced with no pm allowed
also moving this topic to decentralised moderation, as it is not proper scam but rather unsolicited messages.

Don't worry admin. What you've done by not allowing that user to send private messages is a better option than 2nd strike.
I hope that the user changes his behavior, or in the next complaint from another user "if there is one" he will have the 2nd strike again and more things.
-
i receive the same message the other day but before this message he also offer some other token before such as
I am selling 444k FXB coins for just 500$ considering they will list in Coinstore
i thought it was just me that he was offering these tokens bu now he is also offering AIRT tokens. i'm already curious how he got these tokens which is so much for an airdrop. could he be someone who develops a token himself? ;D there is no one else who is doing something like this before but him.

For how long is Doovla not going to be able to send messages to other members?
I think he received more than enough warnings in this forum and this is just a mild punishment for him.
He needs to have big label SPAMMER image on his profile, and maybe something more strict if he continues doing the same.

given that he uses pm instead of marketplace, this penalty will not be removed
unless i ask for a big amount of altt burning , but for now no plans to lift the penalty even for altt burns

So he also cant receive PM's received from other members or only sending of messages is not allowed for him?
I didn't saw anyone else reported receiving messages from him but I doubt I was the only one he contacted.
Anyway, he is on my ignore list now.

I received a similar message from Doovla a few days ago but didn't pay attention, considering I don't know him well.

I also can't see the reputation in the trust feedback (Positive, Neutral or Negative) on the account profile.
I didn't report to the Admin, because maybe he didn't know the marketplace board link on this forum. A few days ago, I saw that the Admin had directed him to the marketplace link in the Altt chat.

PM blocking can be in both directions, but I think the administrator has only blocked outgoing PMs but not incoming ones.
After, and seeing the conversation in the chat that can still be read, I think that Doovla has understood why he has been sanctioned and I hope that his behavior changes 180 degrees so as not to violate the rules of the forum. again.
Something tells me that the administrator is going to be monitoring possible complaints from other users.

These actions must always be reported. If the user doesn't know how the forum works (which is strange considering the rules are simple and basic) they would have asked where they can sell their coins/tokens without having to send unsolicited messages.

Initially, I would reply to the message by directing it to the marketplace link instead of reporting his PM. But I see the admin has shown the link.
The mistake was that he didn't ask first where the appropriate place to sell his coins/tokens was; instead, he sent an offer via PM, which he sent the same thing to many users, and of course, this could be considered spam.
And he only asked afterwards in the chat forum.

I think he used mass spam option when he sent the same message to many forum members.
He probably copy pasted recently active online members from the footer and send it to everyone.
Doovla is a perfect example what members should NOT be accepted in any signature campaigns... I see he is trying to apply all the time.

Correct, that's why I said that the first thing Doovla should have done is read the forum rules, and if he doesn't find an answer to his question about where to sell the coins/tokens, he should have asked a user or moderator. It's okay to make a mistake, we all do, but not searching or asking simply means that Doovla wanted to sell without making it visible and public on the forum.
Doovla still has time to do things correctly, I hope these latest penalties make him think and realize that this is just wasting his time.

I missed this drama about Doovla :) I got a PM from him with a similar offer of some shit coin, but that was back in February. I didn't want to report him at the time, obviously, he has a problem with understanding the behaviour in places like this.
You are definitely not the only one who got pm spam from him.
-
maybe i should also add my voice, i get spammed by him the most.
he tested me on many occasions , and i almost chose the dark side because of him
now that he can't pm, i'm ;D

Please don't tell me he also sent you offers to buy some tokens from him? :o
Maybe you should disable option to members for sending messages to multiple or all forum members.
I think doovla is done but it's possible we are going to see similar members in future.

unfortunately can't because bounty managers needs it.
the issue is some users might not know that some stuff are not ok unless you put a rule
but there will be a rule called the doovla rule soon.

That R7 promotions campaign is voluntary, which means that there is no payment associated with it. I hope Doovla noticed that little detail.
The fact that Doovla has been accepted seems positive to me, so he will have the opportunity to learn how to use the signature and who knows, maybe correct his mistakes. The truth is that users accepted into that campaign are more likely to be accepted into signature campaigns that pays.

I agree with this. It sounds like a new chance and possibility to assimilate into the forum and its rules. Perhaps the best way to acquire different habits is through a volunteer campaign.
