This is a rather complicated issue, because in order to consider crypto as a political tool we need a large article. I will try to point out some of the basics that in my opinion are important.
+ Crypto is considered a payment method of people in countries with economic crisis: for example, Bitcoin in Venezuela;
+ Crypto is a tool for the government to stabilize the country situation: like Petro in Venezuela;
+ Crypto is the biggest threat to government power over the economy, so they seek to limit the development of crypto;
+Crypto is the new payment method of crime and terrorism: anonymous coins for example;
+ The best features of crypto are leveraged by CBDCs, and CBDC is seen as a solution for governments to compromise with the people, at the same time CBDC becomes the main weapon of nations to win markets as well as against crypto;

Slowly even the governments are realizing the fact that the cryptocurrencies are here to stay and some countries are even promoting the use of crypto. I think more govts should now work to create pro crypto policies if they do not want to stay behind technologically.

This is quite expected. We could not just wish that China, India and Russia will easily be opening their borders and their financial systems for cryptocurrency even if there is a growing demand for it from the people. Cryptocurrency is beyond the total control of the government and their minions hence many are not so enamored with it. In fact, many political leaders are against the proliferation of the blockchain and cryptocurrency. This is quite so natural. Now, it can be taking much time before closed countries can open their markets. In countries where cryptocurrency is allowed, there are strict regulations that must be followed for the protection of all from possible bad players and scammers. We should be thankful that at least if the USA is quite strict, it is not following the same path China is going in regard to cryptocurrency.

Since cryptocurrency is inherently decentralized, that is why world powers do not want to accept cryptocurrency to the masses, because any state wants control over this process, and when this control will be and the adoption of cryptocurrency is not far off.

I have seen many articles about this situation, developed countries will make regulations on cryptocurrency ownership by giving tax to the holders.
This is commonplace because the value of crypto assets owned has increased with the number of requests that are increasing, and several countries are trying to implement rules so as not to harm many parties if the payment system is applied to all payment systems.
As we know, the payment system between countries is very expensive, but with the crypto payment system, someone from any country can make transactions without having to convert other currencies from each destination country.

I think the government will soon realize that cryptocurrency is difficult to fight. Some countries realized this and began to use it rapidly. I think other countries will follow them too.

This high growth of crypto is what every country is thinking those who do not support crypto are also accepting cryptocurrencies due to rising currency prices. Because in the future these currencies will rise a lot only in the case of politics will the currencies be helpful for economic development.

Mass adoption of cryptocurrency is not a dream now. The whole crypto marketcap has raised several billions of dollars within just a few months. People are investing in bitcoin more than gold and silver. Traders from stock and forex are trying to shift in the crypto market although some fear high volatility.

I think it will take a long time, crypto can be accepted by the global elite, crypto growth is increasing and it can bring changes to the economic and political sectors. So we'll just wait

I think crypto doesn't need a license to circulate. And indeed, more and more people will know and know crypto. And of course more and more will join too. This will continue to happen and the government will not be able to stop it.

I think that as time goes by and the mass adoption of cryptocurrency by the people, world leaders will start legalizing cryptocurrency in their country and even support the use of cryptocurrency as the currency of their country.

Overall, the government always supports technological advances that are useful to make all activities they carry out easier and safer, the government actually supports blockchain technology, but there are obstacles related to coins on the blockchain network, because fuel from the blockchain platform results in a high price. fluctuate. so the government is still thinking about this to avoid a high risk if it is used as payment.

I doubt that it will be so. Already now we see calls from some states to the G7 states to consider again at the next summit the issue of cryptocurrency with the aim of stricter regulation or even banning its circulation. The claim that governments are powerless against cryptocurrency spread is very frivolous. They have not yet tried to do it together and it would be better that we did not see it. However, they are already intimidated by the growing power of cryptocurrency.

Crypto, with the likes of bitcoin and wider blockchain, is a global trend. Digital transformation will be the future growth in the global economy and crypto and blockchain will play a part of that led by the world elite.

Because I think investing in crypto is an independent investment. can still be done even without the consent and approval by the state.

The digital transformation will be the future growth in the global economy and crypto and blockchain will play a role in this.
Gradually the government will accept the existence of cryptocurrency grateful if they immediately legalize all about crypto

The governments of every country in the world have not approved cryptocurrency. However, cryptocurrency is currently operating at its own pace. Cryptocurrency will be more popular in the future. Cryptocurrency will improve even more worldwide. Then the government of any country will not be able to control the speed of the transaction. Every forum and earning site will get approval.

it is actually not about global government but not legalized by certain countries. As we know, many countries also have been welcoming cryptocurrency, legalizing them as only digital assets of a commodity or even both for the transaction. Crypto has been accepted in many more countries and they re always developing. SO, never fear of the FUD spread

I don't think crypto needs the government legalization to grow because Many countries are against bitcoin buy still yet it's value keeps increasing, even countries which doesn't accept bitcoin it's citizens still trade and works with bitcoin without the consent of the government. But for sure in time to come most government will see the usefulness of crypto and will start accepting it's usage .

From what it seems now (governments laughed at crypto for years) governments are taking seriously the existence of Bitcoin and its potential, now banks want to offer cryptocurrency custody services, allow investments through their apps and more things. I think that the next thing for governments will be to create their own cryptocurrency, the European Union is doing it, also Russia and China.

Now all governments (or almost all) want to have their own blockchain and cryptocurrency, and they are not going to waste time, they know its potential and they no longer laugh. Some banks in my country have been testing private blockchains for months, we'll see how it turns out in the end.

They can make new blockchains or use old ones. They can create new cryptos every day. At most stable coins. Still they are too late.
At the end of the day, the governments will buy my bitcoins. For a million apiece 8)

I agree with you @Ferki. I am sure that many countries do it, and if they do not do it directly they do it indirectly, for years we have known that in the United States there have been numerous Bitcoin auctions. A few days ago we saw the news that Pakistan is building two state-owned Bitcoin mines, and that Finland wants to sell 1,981 Bitcoins seized from illegal activities. As you say, governments will have Bitcoin.

Finland's customs authority is looking to sell bitcoin seized in 2016, now worth more than $75 million (https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/90373/finland-customs-to-sell-bitcoin-seized-in-2016-now-worth-75-million)

Indeed, the effect will be felt so quickly if politics enters the realm of cryptocurrency.
During the election for the President of America, all cryptocurrencies experienced outrage, between Donald Trump who opposed cryptocurrency and Joe Bidden who supported cryptocurrency.
Before the Presidential election victory was announced, the price of this cryptocurrency was declining and hasn't even stagnated in a few weeks.

The cryptocurrency situation will be better in the next world. Cryptocurrencies will become more popular around the world. Cryptocurrency will remain at the top of popularity. Cryptocurrency will be known as a medium of transaction all over the world. At that time the use of cryptocurrency will increase even more. So what kind of situation is much better around the world.

It will feel faster if we say that politics for cryptocurrency will be good because politics is full of drama and manipulation for what is called cryptocurrency.
In various countries that I have noticed that the rules for cryptocurrency are sometimes made easier and more difficult, so I think that politics is like 50:50 goodness for cryptocurrency.

The longer I think this crypto will be more and more developed in the real world and will be more with political life. Moreover, crypto helps a lot in economic growth.
