The Redditor attempted to transfer a wallet to a new computer without confirming the password to the private keys was accessible.

Technology can really be working for good or something bad all because of human errors along the way. In the past, many BTC coins were lost and forever gone with this same category of story and I think there can still be more others who can commit similar mistakes. Unlike programs or computers, humans are more prone to error and since something like this can not be undone there is nothing we can do but to mourn and then move on.

It's a part of this technology, we are going to be responsible for everything that we are going to do, I also lose in the past small amount of coins because of my negligence, the worse that you can do is for something like this to happen to you, when you think you already knows everything, so when doing things like this be sure you take every note while proceeding.
