Title: [Newbie "guide"] Bullrun - What to do?
Post by: Zed0X on January 10, 2021, 08:07:50 AM
Disclaimer: This is not a financial advice. Follow at your own risk.

It's undeniable that we are already in a bullrun and some say that the market is just on it's first leg up (which means there will be a second wave). While BTC is breaking ATHs almost everyday, watch out for altcoins that are outperforming bitcoin in terms of percentage gains. Don't believe it? Just go and check market aggregators like Coingecko (https://www.coingecko.com/en) where you'll see coins like ETH (71%) gaining more than BTC (28%) in the last seven days.

On a bullrun, the money is on the altcoins as proven already above. As a newbie here, be aware that there are many altcoins that are just pure scams and money grabs. Limit your risk by sticking with altcoins that have good tech, active team and a supportive community like LINK, ADA, DOT, and ETH to name a few.

Goodluck with your crypto trades.

I always keep my losses to a minimum by doing day trading during the bull run. The coins that have been mentioned are the best at the moment. I choose Tron  for trading

Also pay attention not to sell too early! Having the value coins drop 30-50% because they have gone up 2-5x is ok, especially if they are going to go up another 2-5x or 10x or more. I also have a sizeable amount of Ether now, as well as enough Link and Dot. The latter two coins I think have good potential.

Cryptocurrencies are always prospects and unique opportunities.
So you have to try, act, and move forward, no matter what.

There are always risks, and there can always be surprises. Control the risks and everything will be all right.

@Sajinn no matter what if what you lose is the money from a dinner, but in case you didn't know, I will tell you that during the bull run of 2017 many people lost everything they had, they borrowed from the bank, sold their cars, and now all they have is depression, debt and broken families. And what I just told you I have not read online, I personally know several people who did.

It seems that BTC has run out of power after reaching ATH above $40K, currently the price is only hovering around $32K and many predict it is possible the price of BTC will fall to $25K in 2 days @@
Compared to BTC, the top 10 altcoins are still holding a good price although the price correction is still ongoing. Except for XRP & USDT, Altcoins in the top10 are all good choices for good profit. I am holding ETH but watching DOT & ADA too.

Many users think about the XRP as a dead coin now but I think it will pump again and reach the price of the $1 minimum pump. XRP's current price is low, so investment in it will return a good profit.

No, maybe some think xrp as dead but some just skeptical.
After the xrp airdrop the price dump because of issues and delisting from different exchange. If you think xrp will pump soon that is your belief which isn't bad. Everything is possible in the right time. Holding 30 xrp.  ;D ;D

Anyone who feels XRP is a good investment, please keep ypur posts in the Ripple thread. Better yet, put your money where your mouth is and go all in on XRP. Best of luck.

I personally won't suggest that to newbies knowing they have a pending case with SEC.

Holding 30 xrp.  ;D ;D
LOL.

Oh men! Hahaha
Yeah, DYOR is always the best practice to hit more on the good sides whether it is Btc, Eth, Ada, Bnb, Xrp etc. Newbies are responsible to do their own research what, why and how.

Wisdom is supreme above all.
With respect to crypto, yes, wisdom is necessary to trade carefully and very well. But it doesn't mean success all the time. Crypto is crypto the movement is fluctuating sometimes up and sometimes down(volatile).

In BTC bull run, I feel less attentions are given to altcoins; many who might be profitable and give more ROI than BTC in that timeframe. BNB, Tron, ADA, LTC and many other ALTs are supposed to be monitored.
In that process too, carefulness must be applied choosing the best ALT.

As always.  :D
Being cautious is necessary to shape the future profit. Investment is not about own opinion rather should base on the standard how to define good investment. It could help to avoid supporting the scam or even the pump and dump tokens.

We need bullrun to create income but all activity must have limit meaning we can't just buy and go sleep because market are mystery and have chance to change direction in short time. Some people decide to sell all coin become fiat, the rest of them saving into new coin or second coin when use this method play quantity is better. The important thing is do your research and replace 50% ( only ) asset and pay attention for buy back, we are trader/ investor not developer.

@Socratic
With or without bull run you can create income. If you are so dependent on bull run stage to generate income. You should change the way you think on crypto.

Yeah, dyor always matter.
