PolkaDot deserves rank 3 but as USDT has issued extra huge amount of new coins with the demand of the market circulation when market went up in the last few months otherwise DOT would be rank 3 coins already. However, the performance of DOT already satisfied huge investors and a huge number of DOT coins are in staking. So market demand huge compared to the circulation in the market as staking has huge DOT locked. It may push DOT to the third rank soon.

Current price of DOT is $ 18.35. Polkadot is going strong and has overtaken several top coin. I think It's not difficult to hit 25-30 USD at this year. Maybe It will happen at February this year. DOT is really good to hold now.
Yes marketcap is now huge & thats why DOT become 4th rank in coinmarketcap but its not mean that marketcap didn’t increase. If people’s accept & use polkadot than marketcap continue to growing up.
