I surprised to see a bord about LaToken. BTW, Personally I Don't like this exchange and this coin. Latoken charge fee for deposit. Cost high withdraw fee on latoken. And too much scam/shit coin listed on latoken. We have seen some scam IEO on latoken.

I have been using Latoken Exchange since the beginning of my crypto life. I think Latoken is a good quality Exchange. I have known Latoken for a long time. I have not encountered any problems yet. I exchanged some tokens from this Latoken exchange which I got from Latoken's airdop campaign. I Love Latoken.

I don’t like Latoken exchange and i see that many Quality less (Scam or Dead) token is listed on Latoken exchange and have many low amount Buy sell order always show on market. Actually always i used Binance and Kucoin exchange for crypto trading.

I agree with you but exchange need strategy to survive, already choose and we can take or not?. This time latoken very hard about verification and release many airdrop for new user, I suggest to avoid it because latoken only need simple verification and low fees transactions, that's it.

I remember when Latoken had their airdrop a couple years back. It really pissed me off the way they ran it... You had to do the tasks to get coins, but then when they released the coins you had to purchase their tokens in order to do anything with the free tokens you got (other than use them to cover Latoken fees).. They promised the tokens, then at the end once you did everything you found out the tokens were almost useless unless you were willing to buy $50 or some odd amounts worth of their own token. I'll stick to KuCoin who runs a better and more honest/straightforward operation.

I agree with you it's better to avoid, and wait until there is another exchange if you have a token that is listed in the initial Latoken, and the coins we have are ready to be ashes

I like LATOKEN. I've seen complaints about them, but frankly I've seen complaints about every exchange -- none of them satisfy everyone. Personally I've never had a problem with them, and my team is using them for our IEO as our CEO has a great relationship with them.

I like Latoken exchange and is more favorable as a beginner to trade on the exchange, which the team are very active to respond to you in every side your having challenge on the platform, But the area i don't like Latoken is the delisted part, which most coin that is delisted no other place to trade it, if, they can re-list most of the coin that is delisted, i like them more.

If you are a newbie, I will give you a brief summary of this exchange, if very briefly, it has not shown itself from the best side and there are very often inflated trading volumes and it is very often hacked, I would not advise you to use it, in fact, there are many good exchanges on the Internet that have proven themselves much better.

I'm really scratching my head trying to figure out why people still bother with tiny CEXs like Latoken. With daily trading volumes under 500M USD, the liquidity is just too thin. That means traders are going to face some serious slippage.
I used to use tiny CEXs to trade obscure tokens before they were listed on the big exchanges, but now we have DEXs where we can find almost any pair. Plus, as you mentioned, smaller exchanges might not have the same level of security as the big players. It's just not worth the risk!

I don't think it is advisable to make latoken a serious exchange for trading or other activities except you want to be paying high trading and withdrawal fees that is peculiar with the exchange. I have been using Latoken just for few low cap coins and some bounty rewards coins/token that may be hoping to move to tie one exchanges.
Around 2018, latoken were on a habit of holding users withwal for days or weeks before they are completely released to their different destinations. This was their biggest disasters that lead to many users leaving the exchange in high numbers.
Latoken, as at last year, are battling with review reputations, and for any user to participate on air drops, you are asked to write review about the exchange on certain review platforms, unfortunately, some of the air drops are not being distributed, at least, for many that I have participated.

The ill experiences in the world of digital assets are, nevertheless, a strong warning and especially to be cautious and to exert more of a discernment while picking the platforms. This is not bad at all if we can take a little time out to reflect on where our assets and actions will be directed. Perturbations or problems, which have taken place are not the final catastrophe, it is just the time for us to be more cautious and protect our business and its dealings from such situations in future. Seeing its value is the only thing we can do if we still have some assets locked up in such an exchange place. If the value is aligned with the results then we must seek it to gain the assets that we have. But if the value of the asset is really tiny and not too much, therefore we can keep it there.

You created this thread back in 2021, and it's 2025 now. It's been four years, and I believe the perspective has not changed in the last four years. People still do not like Latoken. Especially because of their platform. Latoken is one of the underrated exchanges that did almost nothing, and there are no hypes. Their token reached almost half a dollar back in 2021. Since then, the token has been dumped to 0.035 and has maintained this price range for the last four years. The current price is 0.025, while we are expecting an alt season.

Yeah, Latoken CEX is not well-known and I only used it to trade a few tokens that I received from bounty campaigns. Liquidity is poor, below $1B daily, creating a huge slippage that really surprised me.
A less popular CEX with few users will not be able to support the price increase of its own token. LA token has dropped significantly, from $1 to $0.015, and the daily trading volume is only $306. Even I used Latoken CEX, I don't think I can like or want to find opportunities from this token.

crazy this exchange still alive. they only been used by users who eaen bounty tokens back 2018. they were not making progress still despite the bull runs they been through.
this comes up along with vandax during the time where ICO are still a thing. but with projects becoming scams, people also seeing these exchanges as part of the scam.

Yeah, the beginning of a project can determine how the end may be. when a CEX exchange begin with withdrawal issues for a long period, there is bound to be suspicions from the community of users.
As a matter of facts, many users on the latoken exchange, back then in 2028 complained of withdrawals issues but the latoken team thought it was smartness hindering users withdrawals for weeks and even months. As we may observed, it is no longer rosy for them because they failed to pay attention to users complaints.
I am foreseeing a total collapse of latoken exchange in near future because those things they ignored, or failed to correct earlier are now turning against them. As a CEX exchange that wants to serve it users for a long time, they should not engage in the following.
1.There should be no withdrawal obstacles for more than 24 hours without solution, or at least, there should be a quick information to users about it. it should not linger into weeks or months
2. High Trading fees. Trading fees should be minimal, at least, on the average access other trading platforms.

I also have a little information in my Telegram community that Latoken is very risky for us to enter, my friend said he once withdrew USDT around 100 dollars but the process took a long time, as far as he remembered he said it was almost a day. When contacting Customer Service, there was no response at all. Avoid!

I have similar troubles with other exchanges too, sometimes even the top 5 stop users' withdrawals without notice too. I think my issue with Latoken was the liquidity, hence why I stopped using them.
I do agree that using Latoken is way more risky compared to Kucoin or Binance though. Not to mention there are many solid alternatives in our local market to trade USDT.

Latoken is not too bad, at least it didn't collapse like FTX, if it had been launched in 2017 with its current quality it could still have been used by tens of millions of crypto investors. However at present, users have many significantly more valuable choices than Latoken: Binance, Coinbase, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, KuCoin, GateIO... They don't have many reasons to create an account on Latoken.
Fortunately I haven't encountered any major problems with Latoken, except for the liquidity not being very good and the slippage being quite large. Latoken will never be a CEX that I would recommend to my friends!

Small or empty liquidity means the beginning of Latoken's service which provides poor service to every user, so that all users abandon it.

But as far as I know, FTX has also returned all its users' assets and given 60 days to claim.

Although I don't know what percentage of funds FTX has returned to its users, I feel that it is a good effort from FTX to be responsible.

Before I used it, most of the coins listed there were just shit coins, it's like Yobit, only zombie coins are listed there and only a few coins have potential like Ethereum, Ada, BNB and others that are in the top 10 in the market.
Then when it seemed like there was a new management there, they suddenly had Kyc, it seemed like it became a CEX platform because before it seemed like it was in the Dex system and now it's not. That's why I don't use it anymore.
