Galaxy enters Bitcoin mining, launches financial services unit for miners

Mike Novogratz's Galaxy Digital is launching its own Bitcoin mining operations and creating a new business unit dedicated to providing financial services to miners.

The Galaxy people might have decided that it can be better late than never at all. With BTC still rising and with many fund managers convinced that the best is yet to come, going in right now can still be a very profitable move. This is actually good for the BTC mining sector as this will further democratize the mining power and influence away from too much concentration in China which is not good in the long run view of things.
