Title: Have you ever regretted that you didn't enter the crypto market earlier?
Post by: MrSpasybo on January 22, 2021, 12:15:42 AM
The early Ether investor says he realized an average of 14,900% in long-term capital gains on his cost basis. At 27, the early Ether buyer says he is now financially independent and plans to buy a house for his parents later in the year.

Earlier in January, another Redditor revealed that he had sold all his Bitcoin (BTC) to pay off his parents’ mortgage. Another Redditor also liquidated MOON tokens earned on the platform to pay for rent.

Arrticle: Early Ether investor sells all his ETH, plans to buy parents a house (https://cointelegraph.com/news/early-ether-investor-sells-all-his-eth-plans-to-buy-parents-a-house)

I really admire early investors in projects like Bitcoin & Ethereum, because they can see the future of the crypto market, while we just spend money on pleasures.
What's even more amazing is that they can continue to hold millions of dollars worth of crypto assets until now instead of having sold them in 2017-2018 or in late 2020.
And thank God, they were successful in crypto world!

Have you ever regretted that you didn't enter the crypto market earlier, didn't keep your crypto assets longer for greater profits? As for me, I missed the opportunity to buy a house for my parents :(

Human nature dictates that we could regret when we realized that anything is now so valuable when we know we could have bought the same at a much lower price. Well, this is so normal. Nobody can predict the future, and we happen to be not so lucky enough to have to stake our future into something like Bitcoin or Ethereum when they were so inexpensive. And then there are also those that had bought some of these coins but eventually got tired of waiting they sold them at handsome profits at the time but never expected that the value will be rising so enormously as it is happening right now. No wonder many people are looking for the next big thing, looking for a coin that can match the rise of BTC or ETH but many of them end up supporting scam coins or tokens and at the end just holding empty plastic bags.

Yes, I am very sorry that I learned about crypto very late. It was the end of 2017. Although I already knew about bitcoin in 2014 and am very sorry that I did not buy it then.

It would be dishonest to say that I have no regrets about this. If in 2009 I invested a little in the computer system and exploited Bitcoin, everything would have been very different, at least I would be less strenuous, my parents would have a more comfortable life. However, the regret cannot change everything, the thought only passes when I refer to Coinmarketcap. Life goes on and we're still working to make money :)

Well, in the past, I used to regret this so much most especially when I think about how much money I would have made if I had bought a particular coin at a particular price and sold them at this price, it's really disappointing but overtime, I've learnt to not regret any of this cus for some reason, I didn't know back then, what I know now, and again, am a strong believer in God, I believe that if God wanted it for me back then, then he would have made me know about it and would have lead me to invest, but since it didn't, it might as well not be he's will for me to have it that early.
Though I envy those who have made it big in crypto, but I've learnt not to regret a thing cus whatever will be will be, and every individual has their own time of shine and glory , my own time is coming.

Yes of course because sometimes in this bullrun market, we always regret why we didn't buy the coins when the price is still very cheap. And now the bull run is starting and the price is increasing more and more and we have only a very small amount of our desired token or coins

In my opinion, now there is no such participant in this market who would not regret that he did not invest in bitcoin, ethereum or other potential cryptocurrency much earlier. This is natural, since these simple actions gave us the opportunity to be financially independent today.
Cryptocurrency was and is a completely new type of financial asset, which few people took seriously in the early years of its existence.

I regretted only one thing that at the beginning of 2018 all assets were stored in risky cryptocurrencies, which eventually depreciated by 80%, it was necessary to exchange them for dollars or Bitcoin, Ether

For me no I did not regret when I entered the market in the year 2017 but I regretted that I didn't sell my cryptocurrencies when they reached the all time high in 2017 - 2018 the market was bullish. I sold my cryptos when their prices down around -40% I guess..  It's not too late to enter the market because there are some new cryptos that has potential in the future just like polkadot. :)

Many members do not regret not participating early but only regret for not selling crypto assets in 2017-2018 during the period of total crypto market capitalization above $700B. Indeed, seeing assets in a crypto wallet evaporate without being able to sell it is more annoying than never having held them :)

Yes, of course, because it's a great opportunity for everyone here to make a profit.  However, it is wasted because you do not invest in the market earlier. And now we just realize how important it is we invest in the earlier market to get big profits during the Bullrun like just a moment ago.

What for regretting? We don't need to regret not joining crypto in the early stage. It is not too late if we join now. Crypto market is good and many people are already active working in crypto bussiness now. Some people think for the safety reason, now is the right time for them to join. But I already join for some years.

The consolation here, at least, is that we are not all alone. In my estimate, around 99% of all people who are into cryptocurrency have this kind of regret and that is really normal I guess. Had it been otherwise, meaning the asset we planned to get into made an unfortunate dump and not able to recover, then we might be happy not able to participate with it. The bull run still happening right now can be a big source of "happiness" to someone and can also be a big source of "regrets" to many.

Regret is something that is certain, but it's different if you don't know crypto until now, but if you are already familiar with crypto, there is nothing wrong with trying to learn and starting from a job as a bounty hunter to get something free.  Because many hunters became investors after their experience of jumping into this world.

The opportunity is always there because this technology is still young, there are still a lot of new projects similar to Ethereum and besides Ethereum is still a young technology it's not yet too late as I'm writing this the price is $1300, the price could be $5000 before the end of the year, so invest when you have the funds.

Of course eyes. Imagine that I have joined in the crypto when at least in 2015 probably I will not do such bounty campaign again. BUt now we can see the data of the people in the world. If I bought BTC when still under $10k, but if it is around it, moreover just cut lose when the price is still low and now high enough

If we have the opportunity to earn a lot of money and miss, For some people of course it will make us regret it. But if this has happened, don't keep in mind, because it will only disturb our minds.
The increasing price of Bitcoin and Altcoin, of course, will provide benefits for those who have invested. For me it doesn't make me regret it, but it will make it a very valuable experience.

Yes, I feel regret that I should have entered the crypto market earlier when the bitcoin price was very low and it was easier to enter into the cryptomarket.

Yet, I have been investing in the crypto market for quite some time now using Exocrow and have made heavy profits.

I would suggest you all learn from my mistakes and invest in cryptocurrency now and make heavy profits in the future.

I would suggest you check out Exocrow, a digital currency wallet, and platform where merchants and consumers can transact with new digital currencies like bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin.

Check out Exocrow: https://exocrow.com/

I got to know crypto in early 2018, and it could be said that it was too late to get to know the world of crypto. If only I could get to know earlier, namely in 2015-2016 then maybe I would have enjoyed the results. But regretting that it is not very wise, at least I can find new things in increasing my income so that it can be an alternative to making profits for future savings.

Additionally, everyone can enter the crypto world whenever and can get significant profits from crypto. But of course it needs certain knowledge and also goo manageent

I think it is not the right time to regret it. We still can join investing in Bitcoin any time, so why we must regret it. As long as we can join, I think no need to regret it. I am not the person who wants to regret if we still have the chance to do it. What for? it just wastes our time and doesn't get anything from regret.

Yes, I regret it very much. Because in 2010, one of my friends recommended me to buy bitcoin. At that time thousands of bitcoins were selling for just a few dollars. And I don't trust this bitcoin, I think it's just a ponzi scheme that someone made up. But after a few years later, when the price of bitcoin went up significantly, I regretted it a lot.

In my case, I was involved in the crypto industry since 2015, But what I am regretted is I'm one of those weak hands and easily affected by FUD and immediately draw to the conclusion that selling is the best option to save my funds, and that was my common mistakes and it keeps repeating til today.

Yes, kind of but to hard feelings because i have known about btc from 2012 when one of my friend suggested to get some btc but i was not clear to invest as most people i also took this investment too risky but it would have been great if i had stacked some btc back then. Then later in 2016 i actually bought btc and eth but being a newbie i wasted a lot of my btc and eth in useless, fake projects so now i try to stay only in btc, eth or trx for longterm holding.

I am a confident and a person who always looks at the future. I never regretted what I have done in the future. I think it is not necessary to regret every activity or step we already passed in the previous time. If we ever failed to join a crypto project, just take a lesson on why to avoid it. Or if we failed to join a bounty, just make it be more selective now.

I felt the same way back in 2013 because my friend told me about Bitcoin.
All the altcoins at the time were unknown to more and Bitcoin was very cheap for Fiat to buy.
Unfortunately I didn't buy it at that time because I had a negative opinion of Bitcoin and this is my regret that until now has not been forgotten.

In 2013 the price of BTC fluctuated around $100 and suddenly rose to $1K by the end of the year. However, at that time we still only considered Bitcoin as a joke or a scam because Bitcoin is still not considered legal anywhere, there are not many investment funds that really accept the value of Bitcoin. A my friend bought about 30 BTC at that time, and we teased him many times. A bit sorry that he later lost his paper wallet with 30 BTC.

What I'm dealing with right now is just trading buying more altcoins at the price of $10

I've been predicting an increase in crypto market cap since the Halving and DeFi project, but at that time I didn't have enough money to buy More Bitcoin and other top altcoins, but I think this year will start when the bear market arrives.

Omg! That was bad. Anyway I think its about time to move on and recover those coins. If you will buy today at $0.36 and one month later the price will come up to $1. I think you still win the profit. I did not regret to enter crypto at this point I believe I am not too late. Better late than never.
