But why?
In the past, a decline in BTC held by exchanges in Bitcoin has led to a price explosion, provided that demand remained high.

It would be nice to see a significant rise in the price of our tokens in the near future. The prices of promising altcoins grew slightly along with bitcoin, but we haven't seen a good altcoin season for a long time. high gas fees when ethereum prices go up it is common to me.
because i invested in ethereum since i got to know the btt forum in 2015 so i am very familiar with the ethereum movement.
The Ethereum block chain was congested that is why the Gas fees become higher but this will be resolve soon when Ethereum 2.0 upgrade will be release. Primarily benefit from it is the better scalability (increased transactions per second), throughput, and security of the Ethereum network. There will be more transactions per second and it can beat some existing systems such as Visa Mastercard and it could beat by speed and cost of the transaction. That is the main difference that we will see soon.

Indeed Eth is reaching new ATH reguraly. At the time of writing this post it reached 1500 $ which is a milestone and a psychological level. The switch to proof of woork to proof of stake will also lower the cost to maintain the network that will relieve some selling pressure.

I just got a notification on my gatget that Eth has hit the top of ATH again, this is really great.

There is only one negative aspect of this growth - network fees grows parallelly. Even if shit coins jumps also. It will cost hell of a lot to sell them. Exchanges will be only one who wins in this situation.

Eth is still trading above $1500, the more it keeps pumping the more gas fee is needed to make a transaction and its really disappointing cause the fees are sometimes x5 of whatever you're transferring, a regular Joe can't transfer 10usd worth of Eth without paying $50 for it which is too high, I only hope Vitalik will fix this real soon with eth 2.0,i just hope d day comes real soon cause the gas fees are becoming unbearable.

Looks like you are not really investing in Ethereum because you mentioned yourself that you have some Ethereum just for the transaction fee of your bounty.

i think it's not because the block chain is stuck but because ethereum prices are high resulting in higher gas fees.
but i also agree that ethereum's gas fees are high. because back then when fees were low many new projects were standing on the ethereum platform and from many new projects it was 99% scam and caused ethereum prices to drop very deeply.
so, if current fees are high some new projects that have scam objectives will not dare to set up projects on the ethereum platform. only projects with a successful goal dare to stand with ethereum

Looks like you are not really investing in Ethereum because you mentioned yourself that you have some Ethereum just for the transaction fee of your bounty.
