Important to keep the report directly in the court of the forum, without reporting it to the admin, personally. You will get the right judgment later. I think everyone agrees.

There is a special link for reporting under each post. Much easier than searching for a topic or a section to inform about the violation. Such report goes not to admin directly, but to the mod panel, where any moderator can find it. :)

I know mate. But Report against someone, not here. Like report to moderator option. If anyone abuses power, it should be in the forum court.

And that is exactly what can be a problem when we have inactive mods. Experienced users do the right thing, I suppose. But what do you do when the mod isn't there for months?

You tell me or VP about it and we will consider demotion and promotion to mod for another user :)

That's why there are more than one mod.
The past mistake will not happen again specially the forum is incredibly increasing and the structure is becoming concrete.

Yes mate.
I agree with you. Since we have a court in this friendly forum where any reporting can be precisely judged. So I think it's better to go there and report. I think it is better to post there without bothering the admin with unnecessary PM.

As long as we have a good and active global moderators team it would not be a real problem as the reports should be visible to every moderator who has the appropriate rights, not only to local ones. I haven't work with this forum script exactly, but all modern forum scripts work this way. :)
