Title: Elon Musk adds Bitcoin to Twitter bio with 43.7M followers

When the richest man in the world Elon Musk updated his Twitter bio on Jan. 29 — simply adding the word ‘Bitcoin’ — it was followed by a near-immediate 13% increase to the Bitcoin (BTC) spot price.

Musk’s bio appeared to be updated on Friday morning, and was followed by a cryptic tweet that referred to the inevitability of... something.
Tweeted at 8:22 a.m. UTC, Musk’s 43 million followers apparently took notice. Some assumed the tweet was a reference to the Dogecoin (DOGE) price surge which was ignited by r/wallstreetbet traders as a follow-up to the recent Gamestop (GME) stock short-squeeze. Others assumed the tweet was related to Bitcoin.

This #bitcoin news is spreading all over the crypto community. I also saw it i was surprised seeing #bitcoin in the bio of Elon Musk, Worlds reachest man

Yes. Though it is still unclear whether he or his company (Telsa) is planning to invest on bitcoin in the short term, it is very positive development for BTC and its adoption. We can visibly see how it has much affected its value in few hours after the updated bio.
That's how much powerful a single statement/action of can influence speculations in crypto.

Amazing to see a man which has no big holding of Bitcoin but has a big influence into its price movement. Soon Elon Musk can be the symbol of Bitcoin and whatever he is saying can have a profound effect on the coin. Such is the power of just one word of just one man. However, it seems to me that the market has become desperate looking for some good news as Bitcoin is struggling to maintain its price range so that it is taking up the action of Elon Musk as a big sign to push Bitcoin up. Right now, the price is retreating as the Elon effect is waning. So what's next?

yes, you are right but now market is back to same position, I hope we can see again more pump. I am not surprised from Elon Musk because #Bitcoin is now most popular.

Yes i see this news and i see Elon Musk Twitter account, we know that it is very positive things of Bitcoin. Have many follower of Elon musk and his all follower already see his Bio and for this reason i think many Follower already has interested on Bitcoin, this is really good news for all.
