Elrond; It officially launched the digital wallet and payment application Maiar, which is an alternative to applications such as PayPal.
Maiar aims for any smartphone user to create a wallet in seconds, transfer money to contacts in the phone book, and do it as easily as sending an e-mail.

Is this wallet blockchain based? if so, what plafform is used? and how much is the transaction fee?

Maiar is a cryptocurrency wallet built on the Elrond blockchain.A mobile application where they can store, transfer and share EGLD coins.By the way, this wallet also supports BNB and ETH.I don't know the fees they charge for transactions

Interesting, I will find out more info about this wallet. if the fee is cheap, it can be an option to use it
