How does Bityard make money?
We make our money primarily through our commissions, with other overnight fees making up a small proportion of our revenue. We aim to build lasting relationships with our clients, and provide a range of tools to support their trading.
1. We want our clients to trade profitably
2. We make most of our money from the commissions that clients pay to trade with us
3. We hedge only when overall client exposure is skewed in one direction
4. We always reserve certain percentage of our daily profit to make sure that clients are able to realize their profits even during extreme market conditions, We’ve invested heavily in tools to help our clients trade profitably
5. We aim to build long-lasting relationships with our clients based on trust
6. We never add spread to profit from clients’ transactions activity

Does Bityard aim to profit from client losses?
Bityard refuse to profit from client losses!
Our business model is based on providing individuals with the opportunity to trade in the cryptocurrency markets, in exchange for fair and proportionate commissions. It is a well-known fact that trading successfully is difficult, and most speculative traders tend to lose. However, we do not typically benefit from trading losses that an unsuccessful client may experience.
Under most circumstances, our clients’ position’’ offset with each other. For example, if client A longs one Bitcoin contract and client B shorts one Bitcoin contract, both sides of the trade are covered. This means Bityard is not exposed to the profit or loss of either client. Instead, we make our money via the commissions that each client pays to trade.
Sometimes, a large majority of clients will trade in one direction. When this happens, we will protect our exposure to risk by hedging in the underlying market or derivates markets. For example, if client A and client B both long Bitcoin contract, we may buy actual Bitcoin or long Bitcoin futures. This then covers the amount we will pay out if both clients are successful.
However, under certain circumstances, the price trends of future markets and Bityard (weight average from current market) may not be perfectly correlated in short term. Consequently, the hedging strategy implemented by Bityard may not be fully effective. Therefore, Bityard will reserve certain percent of the revenue to establish a Risk Reserve Fund to ensure clients can always to realize their profits.
Under some rare and extreme market conditions, to ensure clients’ profitability and manage Bityard risk exposure, Bityard might temporarily suspend clients from opening new positions in a single direction until the risk is reduced to a safety level. The purpose is to protect clients’ investment income by always enable them to realize unearned profit upon liquidation.

Default Take Profit Price: When placing an order, the system will set a default Take Profit price, which is the price to achieve the profit equals to 300% of the margin,If you want to achieve higher profit, you can set the Take Profit price to achieve 500% of the margin.

-
Why can I only set up to 500% for Take Profit in bityard?
Since the price of cryptocurrency contract is more volatile than the price of the general financial asset, Bityard will select the most reliable channel to hedge or partially hedge user's contract position to ensure that users can profit in real time. Take Profit function can greatly ensure the validity of above method.
Compared with the force liquidation policy of other futures contract platforms (investment winners bear losses for losers), Bityard can better help investors lock in investment returns and better control investment risks with Take Profit function.

Bityard Stop Loss and Take Profit
The default Stop Loss price functions are set to be triggered if a user loses 90% of his or her Margin. The default Take Profit price functions are set to be triggered if a user earns 300% of his or her Margin. The lowest Stop Loss point can be set to 10% of the occupied margin and the highest Take Profit point can be set to 500% of the occupied margin.
For example, if the current value of bitcoin is 8,000 USDT, when placing a long or buy position with a leverage of 20X and a margin of 100 USDT
the default Stop Loss price is: 8000*(1-90%/20), and the default Take Profit price is: 8000*(1+300%/20).
Calculation Formula of Profit and Loss
Profit and Loss from Long=(Open price-Close price)*Position
Note: The closing price is the buying-down price indicated by the current market
Profit and Loss from Short=(Open price-Close price)*Position
Note: The closing price is the buying-up price indicated by the current market

Orders can be closed under the following circumstances.
1. Manual closing: users manually close current positions.
2. Automatically closing (Take Profit): when current price reaches the Take Profit price.
3. Automatically closing (Stop Loss): when current price reaches Stop Loss price.
4. The system will close the positions on 05:55:00 (Singapore Time) if the orders are set to be not holding overnight.
5. Even though you have chosen to hold overnight, the system will still close the positions on 05:55:00 (Singapore Time) if the overnight fee cannot be covered by your account balance.

Why is Ask price is different from Bid price? in bityard
Bityard can acquire ask and bid price from the secondary market.
When users are bullish on a certain currency in the future, they need to buy the contract according to the market price, that is, the lowest quotation of ask price.
When users are bearish on a certain currency in the future, they need to sell the contract according to the market price, that is, the highest quotation of bid price.
Because the quotation of ask price will be higher than that of bid price, so the ask price and bid price is different on Bityard.

How to buy long/sell short?
In the contract trading of digital assets, based on the market price fluctuations, you can make a profit by choosing to Buy Long or Sell Short.
How to buy long
Buy long, refers to investors who expect the market price will rise in the future and buy a certain amount of digital asset bullish contracts.
When you expect the contract price will rise, you can buy long from contract trading. The operation procedure is: transfer part of USDT as margin, select the required leverage, order type, and buy a certain amount of bullish contracts. When the contract price rises, sell the contract at a high price to get a profit, that is buy low and sell high.
Take bitcoin contract trading as an example. When the price of bitcoin is $ 5,000, we buy a contract worth 1 bitcoin. If the price of bitcoin rises to $ 5,500 each, we sell this contract worth 1 bitcoin and get $500 profit.
How to sell short
Sell short, refers to investors who expect the market price will fall in the future and sell a certain amount of digital asset bearish contracts.
When you expect the contract price will fall, you can sell short from contract trading. The operation procedure is: transfer part of USDT as margin, select the required leverage, order type, and sell a certain amount of bearish contracts. When the contract price falls, buy the contract at a low price to get a profit, that is sell high and buy low.
Take bitcoin contract trading as an example. When the price of bitcoin is $ 5,000, we sell a contract worth 1 bitcoin. If the price of bitcoin falls to $ 4,500 each, we buy this contract worth 1 bitcoin and get $500 profit.

Copy and edit setting instructions
After the user selects the trader to copy, he needs to edit the copy to complete the copy setting.
Copy switch: After you manually close it, it will no longer automatically follow the trader to place orders, and the orders that have followed the opened positions will remain synchronized without being affected.
Copy amount: The amount of a single follow-up trader's order. (That is, no matter how many traders place, the amount you copy is the same)
Example: The trader places an order amount of 100USDT, you set 2USDT, and the order you follow is 2USDT.
Proportional copy: The design of proportional copy is to allow followers to follow the relative principal size of several orders before and after the trader. To
Example: If the trader places an order for 100USDT, and you set the copy ratio to 20%, the copy amount is 20USDT.
Warning value: Set a maximum copy amount that you can accept. If the single amount is greater than the warning value, the system will copy the order at the amount set by the warning value. The maximum warning value can be set to 200USDT.
Note: If the single copy amount is less than 5USDT, the copy will fail.
Single-day follow-up principal: After the accumulated copy amount in a single day reaches the value, it will no longer follow the order, and the maximum setting limit is 4000USDT.
Example: Suppose you set a 100U order and set the follow-up amount of a single day to 300U, then the fourth order will not be copied.
advanced settings:
Maximum position amount: that is, the total amount of the position that follows the trader's position. Once this limit is reached, there will be no copying. The maximum setting limit is 4000USDT
Example: Suppose you set a single copy of 100U, and set a maximum position of 100U, then you can only wait for the last position to be closed before following orders.
Order stop loss ratio: If you set 70%, the default stop loss ratio for follow orders is 70%; if you set [Unlimited], it will automatically follow the stop loss ratio set by the trader.
Example: Suppose you set 70% of the stop loss price, and the stop loss will be triggered when the loss following the order reaches 70%.
After the above settings are completed, click Save to complete the copy setting.
