Title: Which altcoins have you been holding since 2017?
Post by: Ferki on February 05, 2021, 06:59:42 PM
I personally bought Eos, Xlm, Ada, Neo, BTS, LTC, ETH, ETN, XRP and Trx in November 2017.
Also some cheap coins at the time to learn to trade and play a lil´bit, at Cryptopia if you can remember that exchange, but that is not worth mentioning.
Bts and XRP are the only coins I've sold. I bought all the others more in the bear market.
Now I plan to sell all these coins except ETH, which is staked anyway.

Do you also keep coins from 2017?

p.s. forgot to write IOTA, but that one i'm not selling  ;)

Unfortunately, I didn't keep any coin or token since 2017, coins and tokens I have way back from 2017 has all turned to shitcoins with absolutely no value and no means to sell, Infact, i had to abandon the Ethereum wallet I was using from 2017 for another new wallet cus its  full of shitcoins from either airdrop or bounty, and some other coins I bought but turned scam along the way and turned shut coin.

I think it not from 2017 but from 2018 for me. And at that time I was only a bounty hunter who always only selling the tokens to convert to fiat and withdraw all the rewards. well, it means that I don't hold any token or coin from that time. The longest time I hold is since 2029 and it is about the tokens only

only save doge and buy in 2019 and even that is not too much because of the conditions and needs every day so that they are forced to sell it . only being able to selll a decent bit of leftover at a quite high moment in 2021.

I just hold top coins, but I hold many coins that I get from the bounty campaign... Sell it now is useless because the gas fee is extremely nonsense. I will keep hold it and sell it when the coin worth $100..

I have only one coin from 2017 which is I'm holding now and it was BNB, but it's only a few because I was already sold some of them a long time ago but I'm glad I've kept some because the BNB price is soaring nowadays, in fact, I have added some BNB in my holdings because I dropped all my XRP because of the FUD against SEC issue.

Since 2017, I have very few coins left, I sold almost everything, some of them have fallen a lot in value. Now I buy mostly DeFi tokens, as well as some DASH, LTC, Tezos and Cosmos.  I probably won't have the patience for long storage and I will sell them when they show a good profit.

Last month of 2017 was my first stage in crypto ecosystem. Because of poverty and lack of resources I choose to came into this intangible world. No money to buy cryptos, no concrete idea what is crypto and how to choose the best among the rests. Little by little my knowledge and perception about crypto is deeper than before.

I didn't buy and no holding since 2017. I have few holding from 2020. I hold few Dia, and not greater than 15 pieces. Eos.

I have sold all coins from 2017 because in my opinion the coins were maximally pumped in January 2018.
Then I entered the bounty and I only got strange tokens which were worthless in various markets.
I feel this is a test for me because every project that is in the 2018-2020 bounty is very sad to see it. But I am sure that in this forum there will also be bounties that can provide good value and then we can hold these coins until 2025 in the coming year.

I personally have never kept a coin in all this time, except for ETH because I need it for gasoline costs.  After what I can sell, I will turn it into banknotes to buy what I want.  Maybe I will buy a DOT and hold it for a long time, because I think DOT is a new coin that has a lot of possibilities to grow in the future.

One of them is Cappacsity and Bitnation (XPAT) but it was wasted as I did not sell it right away because I thought there was no end to the Bitcoin market then. Only STEEM that I got around $1 as was powered up (SP) after selling half at $2. Should of powered down when it went to $8 as now it's still around 50 cents  ::)

I didn't hold anything after $20K btc as I had the feeling price would drop 50%+, after only entering the market in August 2017 around a $5K btc.

I instead put my profit back into Bitcoin and altcoins in 2018. Most altcoins got rekt apart from a few, Bitcoin obviously ended up doing very well.

Since then, I do not hold coins that have any value other than ETH. Everything that was earned at that time, I sold a long time ago. All that is left in the wallet, which is about two hundred tokens, costs much less than the transaction will cost. Now it's just ballast that nobody needs.

Yes I think bitcoin and Ethereum are my favourite coin to hold since 2017.  Because I always believed in both, they are more safety and I have gotten a lot profit from bitcoin and Ethereum. I really enjoy this coin.

Of course, bitcoin and Ethereum are good coins, but you need to fix the profit once. After all, what is the point of all this if you do not make a profit. You need to spend money on your own needs, and you do not need to sit and wait for constant growth. Personally, I have a lot of coins from 2017, only they are not worth anything.

You shouldn't need money that you put in crypto any more. You can of course take profits, but the money is not intended for your daily use. That would mean that you just didn't buy any bread on the day you invested in crypto? This is just wrong and kind of gambling in my opinion.
If you really want to benefit a lot from the profits you have made, you invest it again.
You only take all profits in an emergency or when the big goals have been achieved. And then you buy something.
At least that's what the big guys do and that's why they're big too.
Wow,  I have to patent the last sentence  8)

The oldest altcoins that I am holding since 2017 is Ethereum. It is the best altcoin that I always keep in my wallets. I will keep my Ethereum till it reaches the price of more than $2K, then I will sell my Ethereum gradually after reaching that rate. I hope it can be reached this year.

Ethereum is worth holding for a long time, I also hold this coin.  But I've sold it several times, and bought it again.  Apart from Ethereum I also hold Litecoin and BCH, I hope these two coins will experience a significant increase in price this year.  Many people have advised me to invest in defi coins too, but I still hold onto these coins.

I have no coins from 17 holding because I am a needy family member. When I get any bounties campaigns rewards then I always waiting for exchange announcements to sell bounty campaign rewards. So how can I hold my assets more than 4 years!!!

Just keep Ethereum in my wallet for GAS transactions in every bounty using erc20 and for sure I HodL Ethereum since 2017.
Then I also keep BNB in my swallow for transaction fees for every airdrop that is given by a token based on BEP20 or BSC (Binance Smart Chain).
The rest maybe I HodL some weird coins like the result of a bounty that just died and I let it rot in my wallet because I don't care!

I already have a lot of coins. So if I don't get the coins, I'm at a loss. The prices of all the coins in the cryptocurrency market were much lower. I have already bought all those coins. I'm waiting for a coin big pump in the market. In fact, I can not say what is in my destiny. It is difficult to predict my fate. But in 2017 I didn’t hold any coins.

I wanted to hold those best cryptocurrency like xrp eth and btc but despite of lack of capital I cannot buy any of my favorite coin especially xrp which has in low price in past year. Now xrp is really  ATH price but since its fluctuating, I'll just used buy low and sell high method.

A good tactic with tokens in bounty, I like yours. I think that's the best way we can protect the reward of hard work. Holding is potentially risky: token price drops, even tokens can be delisted.

I didn't have that oppurnity to buy any crypto at that time because i didn't knew much about crypto at that time so i am still regretting for it. People who bought crypto in 2017 or 2018 are now flying in the sky.

Since 2017, I still hold LANEAXIS, KICKCOIN, IAGON, GRIDNET.  Yes, I had to average - but now, as i hope, there will be a certain return on my investment .. Work on projects is underway, and by the end of 2021 there should be results.
