Title: Which is good for newbie trade or hold?
Post by: Master107 on February 13, 2021, 09:14:05 AM
Hello to all newbies.
Maybe someday you may encounter this question; which is good to trade or hold the bounty tokens.

My answer will be it depends.
First you need enough knowledge about investment, holdings and trading. If you think it is worth to hold the bounty tokens then hold. If you think it is good to sell immediately then do it. Aways do your own research. Avoid regretful feelings at the end.  ;)

What do you think?

I think the hold is definitely better for new users like us. Because need a lot of experience to trade. And the trade thing is much more risky. So I think it would not be right for newcomers like us to trade because we have no experience. Hold is good for beginners.

It's completely depends on person to person because all newbie here not  bounty hunters. Which hunters have bounties campaigns rewards, he should hold his bounties campaigns rewards. Only good coin should hold and sell depends on market situations.

Since newbies are inexperienced, I think it is best to hold. The first and simplest reason is that they can lose their funds in a matter of minutes or less, my opinion is that newbies hold their funds
as long as they can (the more the better) to learn to see how the market works, which exchange do you like the most and is more suitable for him. And after a while, try trading on a very small scale to gain knowledge.

If you are new, then I must tell you to invest by buying coins. If you buy any coin and invest, you can definitely get a good payment.  Always trading with those coins.  You should never start trading as you are new.  Because if you want to trade, you must have a good idea about trading. You can never be successful in trading without a good idea about trading.

I agree with you mate.
Newbies need a concrete knowledge on how cryptos work in volatile price and how to trade the tokens carefully to avoid fishing sites.

For newcomers, I do not support either trade or hold.Because neither of these is suitable for beginners. If there is no knowledge or idea about the market at the present time then I think there will be a lot of loss by trading and holding.Because such work is always risky.I would like to suggest to the newcomers that they should be the first to get a complete idea about the market and cryptocurrency and enter the field to trade and hold it.

I am a new member of the forum.I think the most useful is to hold.Because you don't have to analyze the market to hold on.If you know about the coin that will hold the silver.I don't want to hold on to the point at which the future movement of the point I want to hold on can be listed in any market. If you want, you can follow my roses or take the advice of senior brothers.

@Zixr it is good to hear and know the opinion of others. But never let someone tell us what to do with our money, that's why every time someone asks what currency to buy or what project to follow I tell them the same thing, DYOR, because if everything goes well there will be no problem, but if something goes wrong and you lose your money the first thing you will do is blame the person who advised you. We must be aware and self-sufficient.

I started cryptocurrency few years ago and as a newbie I experienced lots of things when I started trading I lost lots of money when I started trading and I was not having anybody to put me true then. As a newbie I think doing your own research about a coin after doing your research if the coin is a good one then you can buy and keep then sell later when you are in good profit.

When a newbie starts trying to trade (remember, on a small scale), they also need to know when to backing out. If at that moment you believe that you are the master of the world and that in a few minutes you will be a millionaire, you will be totally lost, greed can kill even the best trader, it's important to remember.

I think it's good to make research on that bounty project before making any decision either trading the earned tokens or hold them. Because there are some projects which are very good and promising, but other projects are not good at all from the beginning. That means if a bounty project is good from the beginning, it's token may have a good price in the future so I will hold, otherwise, I will trade it.

Its ok to trade but on spot only dont ever try a leverage trading if you are a newbie its too risky thing and may resulted in a big loss of your hard earned money hodl or try only in spot market since its really simple strategy research a coin to trade wait for the dip buy and put a sell order with profit.

i agree with you and i think in all cases you should do deep research about the bounty project and see if the token survive and have a good future and in this case, holding is better, but if the project team is not active and doesn't care too much about their project so i see no benefit on holding it

There is always an accurate time to hold and to trade.
It's okay to hold when trading will not be profitable at all or enough, it is important to be patient to make profit but not to the extent of also loosing profit. You may take profit intermittently on your token atleast in order to be at safe side and minimize risks.

I think it is not okay to trade for new users. Because the trade thing is a little risky. If you do not understand the trade will be lost. I think it would be better for new users to buy and hold tokens. If you can buy and hold some good tokens, you will definitely be able to make a good profit in the future. I think that would be great for newcomers.

do deep research about the bounty project and see if the token survive and have a good future and in this case,

We always encourage our brothers to conduct enough search to have a better information about the project. We are always at risk but it is more risky to participate without any research

Yeah, Hodl the good is gold.
Emotional trading base is useless and regretful.
We cannot read the trading movement base on intuition. The graph is about intellectual process and not emotional.

For those who are new I think holding is much better than trading.  Because you have to know a lot if you want to trade.  If you don't have good knowledge about trading, you can never make a profit by trading.  To trade, you must have a good knowledge of trading signals.  Otherwise, they will lose a lot in everything while trading.  So I think it would be much better for those who are new to holding their coins.

Yeah, Knowledge is everything useful or harmful depends on the person's application. To hodl is lower risk than go to market and trade without proper knowledge or even an idea how the signal or indicators flow like abc, abcd, and so on.

Hold, I think newbie can buy top coin while the price is going down and hold. Learn the chart and character of coin. If have knowledge they can try to do trading. Learning by doing. You will get profit.

Definitely holding. Compared to trading, it is less risky, requires little knowledge and experience. Though it requires a lot of patience to achieve decent profits as long as it is applied in the right project. It might also be a lot more profitable too.
Personally, I do more of holding too than I trade. It is choice on different conditions.

I think it's better to hold coins for new users. The trade is not suitable for new users. Because as far as I know trade is very risky. So I would not suggest new users to trade. New users can hold bounty tokens and invest as well.

"Trade or hold", should depend on the goal. If you don't have much time for the crypto business, you are better to hold and plan for investment. While if you want to spend much time daily in crypto, trading is better for you. However, both can be done, so why not learn both although then you may focus on trading or investing only? If you are still a beginner, I suggest you learn both and know which one fits with your skills and style.

Trading in crypto currency is the most risky. To be successful in trading you must have a lot of experience in cryptocurrency and trading. So I think the trade is not suitable for new users. New users can hold tokens. They can buy tokens at a lower price and sell them at a higher price.

Newbie, as a newbie I'll advice you not to jump into trading, you see features and how the profits come in large and you jump in to invest, that's just your beginning to big loss. Though the more you loss the more you learn, like they say experience is the best teacher. As a newbie all you need to do is to buy and hold coin then sell if it increases and create time to watch videos and learn more about trading.

I will say, holding is a good option for the new users. Holding will give more edge on the price (if the coin has a promising future). When holding and filling up bags with altcoins, getting the knowledge of trading and understanding the price on how to trade will help at the time for a sale. If you are not the patient type, do not hold, sell and take out your profit. Everyone has their own ways of taking action and making decisions that best suit them.
Holding is far better than not knowing how to place a trade, therefore, i will say Getting a strong knowledge on trading will be a very good idea before you jump into the crypto market.

It is difficult for newcomers to trade. Those who ‍have financial support they can take the risk. In that case there will be no problem even if you make loss. And those who are new and not in good financial condition can get into big trouble if they make loss. I think it makes more sense to hold new ones without trading.

As a newbie, hold. Even experienced, hold. Trading is not healthy, swapping money with others, with vast majority getting wrecked...not my style, don't want part of it. People have done better "sitting" with their bag. Bounty tokens are fine, but own the big ones (Bitcoin, Ethereum)...if you are playing in this market (not financial advice, do own research)

I think trade is risky because it is not suitable for new users. I think new users can buy and hold some good tokens at a lower price. It can sell again when the market conditions are good. That way new users will be able to make a fairly good profit. But new users may lose when trading. Because trade is risky.

In fact, it would not be right for newcomers to do anything.  Because there are a lot of risks to doing the whole thing here.  Those who are new will face a lot of losses if they are treated.  If you want to trade, you must know about the signal. If you do not have a good idea about the trading signal, he will never be able to profit by trading.  But newcomers can hold.  If you buy and hold good coins, you can get some profit.

I mostly agree with Master107. Whether you trade or hold depends on many things.
What a newbie should do, before anything else, is learn about trading and investing, do research and find trustworthy sources of information. Only then can one make an educated decision about whether to hold or trade.

If a newbie does not want to study how trading works, as it is a long and slow process, the best thing to do is wait until the price goes up (if it goes up) and sell your coins/tokens. To do the opposite is to lose 100% of the funds. Studying and learning is the best way to avoid having to listen to the opinions (almost always wrong) of others.

Even as an intending hodler the investor is expected to buy at dip and avoid the mistake of buying at high just like the event in 2017 when Bitcoin peaked then a lot of newbies bought at the ATH.

I think crypto currency trading is more profitable than holding a coin. Holding is for long time investment and have to wait untill the particular coin price increase one the other hand crypto currency fluctuate every moment so any one who have the good knowledge about the market also known to different type of trading strategy they can easily make profit by trading. But i think who have no better knowledge about different type of  trading strategy like newbie they should hold rather than trading.

I have the same opinion, but I know many people with many years of experience who still don't know how to trade and lose money when they do. People have to spend a lot of time studying the market so as not to lose money, and when you try it for the first time, do it with small amounts so you don't risk too much. Many people don't do it that way and end up bankrupt.

Always do your own research. Avoid regretful feelings at the end.

This is hard part because when loss only regret I got, try to forget but make me sick so I try again but getting worst. Trade or invest ( hold ) it doesn't matter I only want to win but without knowledge and exercise my portfolio always reduce. From this one I try to not regret everything and keep trying because some people say you can stop any time but continue will create new person, want to change or not?.

Trade or invest ( hold ) it doesn't matter I only want to win but without knowledge and exercise my portfolio always reduce. From this one I try to not regret everything and keep trying because some people say you can stop any time but continue will create new person, want to change or not?.

You have told yourself the solution to the problems you mentioned. Without knowledge and experience you will never get anything, and if you get something it will be by luck, not thanks to your knowledge and market research. Education and understanding of the ecosystem are always essential, and that shouldn't just apply to cryptocurrencies.
