Have anyone had this situation, where a topic related to crypto discussion - not advertising anything - just got deleted because a mod decided it does not want it ?

Even if there is a proper discussion, those who have junior members, their accounts are given red trust or ban. If accurate information is shared, some information is taken from a site. Then it becomes difficult for him to survive in the way of the user. Like I had a friend by my side, there was a lot of hard work going on. Suddenly his account was banned. It's not impossible to write with the right idea about a site, but it's great to add links to sites.
Such incidents may also occur here as a result of the increase in additional community traffic.

i am not talking about plagiarizing, i am talking about arbitrary deletion and censorship

okey, it didn't happen, so i don't know about arbitrary deletion and censorship.

I probably had one or two topics deleted when I was relatively new. I was talking about a competing mobile crypto wallet that seems legit to me. Maybe they thought it's a scam because it's not known. I didn't see any scam accusation about it though.

There's a likelihood that you're marked by a certain moderator. I've seen cases of suspected of mass report and eventual topic/post deletion because of the user and not the content.

Well, it seems no one is writing anything on this board, even though most of the active members teleported their account from the Bitcointalk forum. I won't say my thread was deleted simply for no reason. But I believe a lot of my replies were deleted for no reason. At least no logical explanation. Especially when a user named Ratimov destroyed himself, I wrote many things and those posts were removed for no reason.
I also remember that the moderator deleted my entire thread, and I did not receive any Private message or email. I remember creating a thread in gambling discussion thread but later I figured out it was deleted. Probably because similar thread was available on that board. So, I won't say they deleted for no reason.

Are you sure you’re still talking about posts you made in this forum? Or you’re referring to Bitcointalk? Because I don’t remember Ratimov teleporting to this forum with us.
I believe the admin was referring specifically to this forum and not a different one.

This thread is all about the Bitcointalk forum. Not only this thread but this entire sub-board is about Bitcointalk.org. So, yes, I was talking about BitcoinTalk.org forum and not this forum. Yes, I know that Ratimov did not teleported his account here. There was a rumour that Ratimov's account was sold and he changed his username as well before he leaves the forum.

Oh my bad, my eyes somehow skipped the “Bitcointalk” and only read the forum so I thought it was “forum related” board thus the reason for my previous post.

Haha,
There is nothing to be worry about. Sometimes I do the same mistakes even though I suggest others to read carefully before they write something. But unfortunately, I end up posting without reading properly. Would you call it Irony? Probably yes. Not only you and me, I noticed that a lot of old members also end up posting without reading well. These blunders happens and we should understand each others. People make mistakes. ;) ;)

When you are new in BTT, you'll experience some kind of strict moderation. This is because the admins believe that you are acquainted to the forum, maybe ignorant of the rules and may likely scam or spread malware. But when you ranks keep increasing, there'll be less moderation on you, unless someone reports your posts very often.
@admin, if you feel your post is deleted for no reason. You are free to create a post in meta to ask about that, unless you have written in a self moderated thread.

I believe you already know that Bitcoin does not moderate scams and they do not even delete any posts/topics even if it is proved that it's a scam. But yeah, they do care about malware and plagiarism. I believe every forum cares about plagiarism and posts that contain links to malware. Sometimes topics get deleted due to duplicate topics and sometimes posts get deleted if it's off-topic. I also noticed that if you write a reply to someone and their posts get deleted, then your reply to that posts will get deleted as well and it's normal on Bitcointalk.
