Title: Do you think bitcoin can affect the distribution of wealth?
Post by: Domithra on May 09, 2018, 03:11:43 AM
Does anyone have information whether bitcoin would distribute wealth more equally across people than the current wealth distribution?

Or would the distribution be even more unfair? What do you say about this?

Decentralization as a feature of Bitcoin gives power to the people irrespective of their social class. So I strongly believe that its wealth distribution will be better since it cancels centralization of wealth.

I think bitcoin was created to be a cash system and the distribution of wealth in terms of bitcoin was equal. Well, at first it was equal everyone can mine bitcoin using any computer or laptop but then as time pass those with money joined in by building mining farms thus rising the difficulty of mining to the level that only those with money can mine profitably.

I think the distribution will rather be unfair becuase not everyone is a computer literate and such cannot participate in crypto business. Such people will be at a disadvantage. Some people can also invest in scam projects with huge sums of money and it might lead to poverty
