While keeping my eye on google trends for bitcoin, ethereum, crypto & cryptocurrency, this comparison caught my eye today.
Not only searches for Polkadot and DeFi hit their peaks last week in interest, but Polkadot has become almost as searched for as DeFi.
This week NFTs are projected to reach their highest interest since their inception, at approximately half the interest of DeFi.

In comparison to searches for Ethereum and crypto that already reached new highs recently, DeFi and Polkadot remain much lower in interest with only 7% and 9% of this.

I also think the updates in CMC's coin listings for these categories has increased the interested significantly.
Vote in the poll which you think will do better :)

NFT is undervalued to date. In the near future, we will see a surge of interest in NFT coins. As for Polkadot, the coin is "overbought" and at the moment is not an interesting investment tool.
-
The defi sphere is still developing and until now the defi sphere has not yet been fully revealed, and the same can be said about the NFT, so the defi and NFT spheres will develop very successfully in 2021, but about Ethereum, everything is clear if there will be any updates about Ethereum 2.0, then the Ethereum price will immediately have to react to this, also the Polkadot ecosystem is gaining momentum very quickly and 2021 will open up new opportunities for Polkadot.

Polkadot, DeFi, NFT are getting great attention, but I still keep my love for Ethereum. Ethereum continues to maintain POW and this ensures maximum decentralization for the blockchain, and I think that after switching to POS, Ethereum will continue to allow all nodes to participate in the transaction confirmation system. translates instead of just about 21-100 nodes like many other blockchains.
ETH2.0 is being finalized, Ethereum's community is still very crowded and we have to accept that users switch to other blockchain platforms such as BSC, TRON, and Cardano because Ethereum is continually overloaded, not because Ethereum is not good enough for them.
-
I was amazed at Polkadot's potentials. Although to be fair to other projects, there are a few like it out there, but somehow, it has garnered enough plaudits and attention. I daresay it is the project of the year for 2020
-
I have also checked and found that Only Polkadot received 87 search result where all DeFi projects 100. It means that Polkadot is becoming new trend to crypto lovers. Polkadot will be better performer for 2021 but we have to bear in mind that BSC can be a good performer side by side with Polkadot.

I'm incredibly interested to know if popular NFT's minted now will become legendary items in 2030 or so. Will cryptopunks sell for 10000 ETH each? If indeed that is the future, if an NFT you buy now for 1 ETH at today's value is worth 100 ETH in 2030 value, who knows how much a single NFT could be worth?
Because if that's the case (and we don't know if that's the case; who knows the future?), then NFT's could right now be one of the greatest investments that nobody is really thinking about.
If you can display NFT's in virtual realities a decade for now and people can see what year they were minted and their value keeps rising (again, I don't know!)... game over man... the people with the old, valuable NFT's are gonna be the new digital oil barons.
I'm starting to think that these NFT's being bought for >10 ETH aren't such a wild purchase after all. Buy for $17500 today, sell for a MILLION in 2025-2030. And the things have intrinsic value to the human spirit, so even if you don't make a MASSIVE profit you still have something that is yours.
Even someone with not a lot of ETH who is just mining casually on a gaming computer with his RTX 3070 or whatever will eventually reach 0.10 ETH. Imagine someone invests in precisely the right NFT, waits ten years, sells for half a million.
Fucking crazy world, man. I don't know what's going to happen. I've seen some people laugh at these NFT collectors on twitter, but who will have the last laugh I wonder. I suppose they laughed at people buying bitcoin in the early days, didn't they.

NFT tokens are becoming a new diamond and a hayom in the world of cryptocurrencies, no doubt, just yesterday I read the news and saw that some nft were sold at 400-500k per gif, which is considered to be this token, and I was very surprised why they pay that kind of money, what is the value ? that it is rare?

I think that defi is being sought, by people
moreover DeFi is a peer-to-peer network that allows people to get funding by pledging cryptocurrency.
during a pandemic where people need money to survive, and the defi project can help those who understand Crypto
-
It's great that this is how cryptocurrencies are becoming popular. Polkadot is a really cool coin, which has already brought profit to many, including me.
-
Crypto currencies are becoming increasingly important in our society and also growing rapidly as something changes in every passing minute, with the exceptional raise of bitcoin and some major altcoins, I believe this is just the beginning, the future is so bright for crypto and everyone who is taking their time to invest in good projects right now, we are early in this and as the market continues to grow, we will all benefit immensely from it.

Pokémon is the biggest franchise in the world and that says a lot.

But the most important thing about NFT that they have no actual use case. Like Cryptokitties doesnt have any actual value or you can use it in any way. It is just a bunch of numbers.
We can use NFT to solve many real world problems which is not the focus of most of NFT makers they just want to make money by making it.

I think dot will do better in this year and years ahead, already Polkadot has display such level of high capacity, the skyrocket this past few days and so is the ecosystem, Polkadot has what it takes to be as big as ethereum, infact, projects should start migrating to dot network
-
I have not had the privilege of being in an nft project so I really do hope I come across a good one that will do well during this period, and as for dot, it doesn't need any further introduction, we all know what dot is capable of.

Polkadot is very promising and it also offers a good platform and also the ecosystem. Moreover the Ethereum platform right now also offers a very high gas fee, so it may cause many more projects to sitch from erc20 to Polkadot or another platform in order to conform to the exchange transaction,

The Ethereum network is a big pioneer in many things and will continue to be playing a major role in the world of cryptocurrency, DeFi, NFT and with DEX. However, we know that right now it failed to rise to the challenge of making the network cost-effective. The major reason why a number of platforms are shifting to other alternatives is the continuing unbelievable gas fees being experienced by the users. Hopefully, Ethereum can soon solve this problem and we will not be hearing of so many complaints anymore...am looking forward to that. Right now, BSC is getting the benefits of this problem, so we are seeing a "war" between the Russian and the Chinese (just kidding).
